Amblers Safety Avis 79

I bought a pair of AS6789 and after only three weeks one of the lace clips broke. I have worn Amblers boots for years and have always been happy with them, but this pair has been a real disappointment.
Unfortunately, the customer service experience was also very poor. I was unable to reach anyone via email, Facebook, or the contact form on the website, and only got a response after considerable effort. When I finally managed to speak to someone, I was asked to clean and send the boots back so they could “consider” whether to issue a refund, despite the fault being clearly visible in the photo I provided.
I rely on my work boots every day, so the uncertainty and waiting for a possible refund and then having to reorder a new pair is not a realistic solution. The after-sales process has been far too much hassle, so I will not buy from them again and will be looking for an alternative brand instead.

Their ladies boots really suit me they are tough but comfy too

Amblers FS995. Used almost every day, Monday - Friday for nearly a year. Most comfortable pair of boots I’ve had. Zips aren’t particularly built for getting dirt or sand in them and lasted maybe 6-7 months until not being able to unzip but still functional with the laces. Tough leather, scuffed against steel mesh etc. slight scratches left on surface but still completely waterproof during wet weather. Absolutely would recommend to any groundworker looking for a comfortable pair of boots. 10/10.
