All went well with my purchase, I put down $950 on $3601 made 19 $86.87 payments called in to pay off my balance before my same as cash purchase due date and the price was $2601 how is that even possible the rep kept saying let me check still checking still with you whatever the hell that means then says oh I see you didn’t meet your deadline I said my deadline is the 15th it’s only the 4th she proceeds to tell me I was provided the wrong information and but she can offer me a settlement I said what am I settling besides the actual amount I owe she says well you owe extra cause you was provided the wrong deadline never got a alert text call email nothing stating this deadline change so here I am owing $2600 on top of the $2600 I already paid this is pure insanity and highway robbery AVOID this store at all cost unless you are paying straight cash out the door don’t purchase anything from them!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

The furniture is junk. I've been through 9 sets and they all fall apart and it's only been not even a year. My first set the delivered and the wood was popped out of the back. I got a recliner set thinking it would be more sturdy but the screws all started falling out and wood fell out of it. It no longer reclines and the ends are falling off.

I do not recommend this place to anyone! The furniture is cheap and the customer service is even worse.

My experience with this company was great. I spoke with the manager Mitch in Madison Wisconsin. Always very helpful and knowledgeable. Couldn’t have asked for better service. He definitely went above and beyond to help me…I will definitely be back.

ALL FUTURE BUYERS BEWARE!! Make sure you verify every appliance and every piece that comes with the appliance that is needed. The incompetence at this location is high, there is no list of materials connected with the order. Make sure to go through everything to verify! We purchased a down draft range for $2400 and when going to instal the blower/motor was missing. We thought it was inside because the accessories for it were, but there was no blower. We had to spend an additional $300 to purchase a new one after the store told us that their employee acknowledged that the blower was included and that we are wrong. Buy anywhere else but here!!

Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure I was all set with my refrigerator purchase. She was very helpful!

Shopped the store on spiral drive. This place sells junk. They hide behind all sales are final. Bought a washer that was defective from manufacturer didn't know that till 2 months later. They wouldn't give a refund and repair took so long we bought another washer from lowes where they sell good stuff. So we are out about 550.00 . Thanks alot american freight. I recommend to everyone save your time and money shop elsewhere american freight is a joke that sells junk.

I was given furniture that was already damaged and was told because I didn't get the protection plan I couldn't even exchange the furniture mind you it's a stitching problem the seams are literally coming apart

This is absolutely the most horrific company I've ever dealt with.
I was interested in a red sofa and a chocolate recliner. The store (Greenville) told me they were out of stock on the sofa but would call around and see if they could get me one. Finally, they told me no, and that even if i waited a month or two they couldn't be sure if they'd have one. So i simply called the American Freignt store in Spartanburg (30 minutes away) who had the red couch (and recliner) and said they would deliver the next day. So, first of all, I was lied to by the Greenville store - obviously they weren't making commission so they just blew me off.
The next aftertoon the delivery man came with the red sofa. (They'd called me that morning and said the recliner they had for me was ripped and torn). So I took delivery of the red sofa, which get this - wasn't put together lol. And I paid 109 for shipping. I called the store and they told me if i gave the delivery man some money he'd probably put it together for me. I'm a 65 year old man...and I had a friend do it instead. I called them 4 more times to find out about the recliner and they said it would come the next day but wouldn't give me any timeframe. The guy from the Spartanburg store said, "Just wait. We gone have you taken care of." lol Of course he know I was the last delivery but he was pissed off from the day before. It came at 5:30.
They're liars, connivers, sloppy, don't have any self-respect or respect for anyone else. KNOW that you will be putting together you order. The whole arrogant experience was disgusting. The quality of the furniture is mediocre, which I could live with, but being treated like that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

I had a horrible experience with this company. They gave me the round around and with calling them to just get my items. Even with calling the corporate office they seemed to be very unorganized and transferred me to person to person. I will NEVER buy from hem again. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere.
There are other stores that will treat their customers with the service they pay for. I wouldn't even want to give them a one star due to

I’m writing not a review I’m letting those know that American Freight has no regard for their employees. My husband Barry Rice passed away on May 6th I called the store manager Collin that day. he worked both companies for 9 yrs He looked forward to go to work greeting customers w magnificent personality & most of all his knowledge about appliances especially refrigerators
As his widow American Freight never acknowledged his passing by sending Condolences to me
American Freight has no regard for employees who keeps them in business by their sales

The customer service was excellent!!! They came to our assistance without us asking for help or support.

Bought the Valencia pub glass kitchen table 08-2020. Do not use if often and nothing is left on top of it.. Last night in another room, this table just exploded, shattered for no reason.. Could be very dangerous. Not supposed to happen. Called american freight and nothing they can do about it.. Gonna contact the ftc.. Pictures taken.

After getting their reply to make this right, I called that # and spoke with Amanda who said she would contact the Regional mgr. and have him call me.. No reply from them, once again the worst service, I will be reaching out to consumer report services and make this formal complaint..

I do not recommend anyone coming here we had a bad experience they told us the couch was in stock when we put money down on it and then they said there was a piece missing then they said the couch wasn’t available they acted like they set aside for us because they told us we reserved it they kept saying different stories and we waited 2 months so we decided to get a refund and ended up going else where for a couch

The customer service from the manager was terrible. Shavvile Gallimore aka Shak is his name. I have never! He was very rude and had a look on his face that said he did not want to be there. David Sanchez was very polite and professional about the entire situation. The Manager embarrassed Mr. Sanchez and scolded him in front of a lot of other customers and told him when he was done with me to go home he also told Mr. Sanchez he did not know what he was doing I thought that was very wrong because he was doing right Mr. Sanchez was very nice and polite and I appreciate him and if it wasn’t for Mr. Sanchez getting commission I would have walked out of that store I spent over $1500 in cash but I was ready to leave it all behind all because of The manager they call Shak. I asked the manager for his name and he told me he was not obligated to give it to me and he would not give me his name I got his name from someone else and it was not Mr. Sanchez but someone else gave me his name so I can report him.The manager is a very nasty mean unprofessional person and he does not need to be in front of customers he needs to be in the back alone because his customer service sucks. My name is Yvonne McNeill and the manager changed my delivery date from today until tomorrow. I was not called about this change. My husband called to see what time they were coming and Shak the manager said it won’t be today so hopefully I’ll get my bedroom set tomorrow June 6, 2023.
I am not done and I plan on returning to the store to speak to someone above Shak. Please remove him from the front of the store because customer’s should not be treated that way. This guy had the nerve to argue with me and never said thanks or I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I will explain the rest on Wednesday when the head guy is at the store. I bought a fridge from Portage MI Am Freight and the description on line was "open box". I picked it up, it was fully shrink wrapped. I had no idea it would have been damaged. I brought it to a rental property of mine, 60 miles away, hauled it up stairs and through a narrow hallway, paying 2 other people to help only to find upon shrink wrap removal it was absolutely trashed. Scratched and dinged up so bad it was entirely embarrassing to provide it to my new tenant moving in that night. I called American Freight and they said sorry there was nothing they could do about my problem.

Horrible customer service. Went in prepared to buy a sectional … and recliner. Walked in. Two people at check out desk. One other couple walking around. Was in store for 5 minutes. Not one word spoke to me. I’ll take my money elsewhere. ✌️
