Car was damaged while at auction and was not fixed culminating on a reduced sale price of car. The wing mirror functioned correctly and folded as it should regardless of whether a past repair to this was carried out. The car was sold below reserve though the auction waivered their fees to make up the difference without consulting me. The car did not sell for a sensible price due to the wing mirror hanging off which most likely detered buyers. The auction did not address the matter even though they were informed 5 days prior to the auction date and even photographed the vehicle with the mirror hanging off. At no point did the auction make any comment on the mirror being poorly repaired but instead chose to leave it and prop it in place for the benefit of the photos. The auction completely missed the point with regard to consulting me as I would have preffered them to fix the mirror and place the car in the next auction where I believe I would have received a fair price. I would never use this company again as they did not address my complaint but instead took the route to best suit themselves.

Bought a car described with no issues. Picked it up and it broke down within 100m of the auction house. The head gasket had failed and the car was misfiring. Auction terms state if the car has a major defect that wasn’t disclosed then you could reject the car. The auction house would not honour this, they said we had to take it or resell it with them. We left it with them and they resold it again without disclosing any faults, they said they were unaware on any faults on the first sale, but we informed them and they still didn’t disclose them. Auction house thinks it’s above consumer rights, and thinks they can bypass any form of responsibility because they are an agent. Very poor for a professional company

I dropped off my car today and was so amazed at how helpful they were, particularly Louise and Stephen(I think the chaps name was!) As I was not from the area, Louise dropped me back to a bus stop. Lovely lady, thank you!

A great experience from start to finish. As newcomers to car auctions, they were helpful and accommodating from the start. It was easy to drop Off our vehicle, and they achieved a better price than we had hoped for. Payment was made into our account just a few days later, and paperwork posted out to us promptly too. I would highly recommend them .
