Companies a scam. I like to surf the web sometime and had come across their Instagram page ONLY to see they’ve got MY car on their page which their offering and also that they apparently sold it 🤣😂
I had to even had to go outside of my house to see my cars still there. The pictures they posted are pictures I took of my car outside MY home 😂🤣 bunch of scammers.
After wanting to get a new car for AGES, gosh am I happy that my partner and I found Players Cars to deliver. Joe went above and beyond to cater to us, even amongst our indecisiveness lol (we were stuck between 2 specs of the same car). Can’t thank you enough Joe for your patience, professionalism, efficiency and making the whole process easy, walking us all the way through to picking up our new baby with ease (which I’ve called Elektra lol). Would definitely recommend; well worth the trip from London to Leeds!! Thanks so much!!!

Once again the whole process was easy and Elliot was on hand for any questions that I had. This is my second car with players cars and I’ll definitely be back for a third! Sold my car to Players Cars, everything works well
I have requested collection time change multiple times, Tom have been patient and tried his best of fitting my need.
Richard who come for the collection appointment is very helpful. He texted hours before arriving so I can plan my day accordingly. He has explained the procedure clearly before the inspection started, guide me through the DVLA website while waiting for the payment to go through.
I was worried before selling my car as I have been hearing bad stories from the others. However, none of my worry come to true in this experience.
Sold my car to PlayersCars via Motorway and had a really good experience.
I'll review Motorway separately but the journey started with them and gave me confidence of not being messed around like you see with WeBuyAnyCar. Before listing your car, you have to take many photos and provide certain data which they then carefully inspect (with a little AI I'm told) including zooming in to check for imperfections etc.
A few days after the car was sold, I received an email from Hassan to arrange collection of whom was very helpful and informative. He bothered offered some dates and asked me to provide some availability. As it happens, 2 days later worked for both of us. I'd removed my private registration and was waiting for the updated V5, but to keep things moving he provided a workaround however by chance the postman delivered on time.
On the morning of collection, I received a call from Gary to introduce himself and give an eta.
Gary and his colleague then arrived on time and explained what the process was and what they were doing, which included their own checks, ensuring the car matched the description and photos and that the paperwork was correct.
They then send their findings and photos back to the office for sign-off and review. In some cases if there is a discrepancy they would renegotiate price, but in this case (in part due to how thorough motorway are), there were no concerns. A scuff on the wing mirror was identified and while it was sorted on the spot (turned out to be a bug splat stain we managed to remove), they said wouldn't have been an issue as can polish stuff out.
Upon approval from the office, Gary theb went over the next steps around payment as I had a small amount of finance left and how the equity would be settled. This was all done by the back office team within minutes.
Obviously I wanted to do my own checks but the guys were absolutely fine with that and at no point rushed me or made me feel uncomfortable. They didn't want to come in while waiting and we're happy outside where we were able to have friendly conversation and they told me a bit about playerscars (as I asked).
Once finance company confirmed all OK and I saw the equity in my bank, everything was signed and handed over. Gary reminded me to sort insurance and Dvla for tax and off they went.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
I admit some reviews made me anxious as I saw them after selling, but my experience was brilliant and I'm sorry other customers didn't get the same, I'm sure there would have been a reason.
I recently purchased a used car from Players Cars in February 2024, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I received the car, I encountered multiple issues, including a smashed windscreen and problems with the tyres. Despite reaching out to my contact numerous times, my concerns were met with rudeness from management, who dismissed my issues rather than addressing them professionally.
After persistent problems led me to have the car diagnosed at a Land Rover dealership, I was shocked to discover an extremely dangerous “bodge” job from the previous owner. Instead of replacing a cracked steering rack, they applied sealant, which has only worsened over time. The recent heavy rain caused further problems, leading to water intrusion into the electrical system and multiple faults.
This level of service and the condition of the car sold to me is utterly unacceptable. It’s clear that Players Cars operates without the integrity necessary to sell safe vehicles. I am now seeking consumer rights advice and legal counsel regarding potential damages.
I cannot recommend Players Cars to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
I strongly advise against using Players’ Cars. My experience with them has been wholly nefarious and unprofessional.
They bid on my vehicle and won the sale. After waiting weeks for collection with no communication, they abruptly decided they no longer wanted to go ahead.
As a direct result of this, I was forced to re-list my vehicle. Shockingly, they then bid on the vehicle again and once more failed to honour the sale. When it came to collection the second time, I had to chase them yet. They avoided all communication, delayed without cause, and wasted weeks of my time while my vehicle was depreciating, time it could have been sold to a genuine buyer.
I submitted a formal complaint and had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with a disgusting and abhorrent individual named Mark Bird, who misrepresented the facts and attempted to deceive the situation. His behaviour, and the conduct of this company, was callous and outrageous, and judging by other reviews entirely consistent with a wider pattern of malicious behaviour. Mind you, this is the director of the business. If his behaviour was as asinine towards me, a customer (who I did not ask to engage with, I only came into contact with them because THEY chose to bid on my car) then imagine how he treats others.
I asked for Mr Bird’s telephone number to resolve the matter quickly annd amicably, but he ignored and hid behind emails instead of speaking directly. That act of cowardice told me everything I needed to know about him and this awful business.
Players’ Cars were dishonest, evasive, and utterly unprofessional. They wasted my time, cost me money, and treated me with contempt. They must be avoided at all costs. They do not know how to acknowledge customers when they have genuine grievances. They show no empathy. No remorse. They do not deserve to be operating. I would implore anyone to avoid this company in every instance.
I can’t recommend Jack from Player Cars enough! He took the time to find me the perfect car, going above and beyond at every step. Jack was incredibly on the ball throughout the whole process he even picked up the car from Scotland and drove it all the way to me, happy to do it. The car came with refurbished wheels, a full health check, and a 6 month premium warranty, which was an amazing bonus.
Honestly, he’s the easiest and best car finance person I’ve ever dealt with. If you’re looking for a new car, Jack is your guy the service is 10/10, and I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation!
these muppets are very, VERY unprofessional, they request to purchase your vehicle and then pull out last minute lying about contacting you or some other issue. Awful. DO NOT USE.

Sold my BMW 1 series through CarWow to Players Cars on Weds 30th April, they met my reserve price and the transaction was very smooth. Two guys came down from Leeds to collect the car on Friday and they were extremely professional. Money was transferred immediately and it was a pleasure to do business with them. Would highly recommend!
Sold my car to Players Cars via Motorway. They were extremely helpful and gave me a reasonable price for my car. In addition, I accidentally left an expensive pair of sunglasses in the car and Andy kindly found them and is posting them back to me. Great service.
This dealer is to be avoided at all costs, I purchased a vehicle from them that turned out to have an engine modification that had not been disclosed at the time of purchase. The after service was horrendous, I was accused of doing this myself and had to prove when the modification was done.
Even when I proved this was done 4 years ago I received no apology.
The only offer that was made was to return the vehicle to factory settings. This was the there one and only offer, they stopped all communication with me and basically said take it or leave it.
My insurance was invalid, the resale value of the car plummeted and they simply refused to help me. I was then left without a car for 3 months whilst I disputed this outcome. I rejected the car and after 14 weeks I finally got a full refund from my finance company.
This has been without doubt one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Avoid this dealer at all costs,

Went through this company to get a Range Rover velar, my first 4x4 as I was expecting a baby. The delivery date got delayed as apparently one of the guys wasn’t happy with the prep so said its getting sorted and there deliver it the week after.
Which would of been fine if when they finally delivered it, it had actually been prepped !
The car was filthy, it had dirt still inside from where the original owners kept it on a farm, the worst paint job I’ve ever seen, scratched to death and it had a bulge in the tyre which we had to take to Range Rover to get a new tyre as it was dangerous to drive on when I had a NEWBORN!
They offered to take the car back and fix the bad paint job but I’ve got the car back today and out of about 6 things they have done 2 - and not even a proper job with now extra miles on my car for driving it 3 hours up there.
£600 a month I’m paying for this car when I’ve constantly had to take it to garages to get looked out and there dodgy work fixed 🤬
The hint is in the name of their company. They will play you all day along. Rude, unprofessional and a disgrace. They pulled out of a purchase via motorway without the decency of contacting me. I lost time and money in the process. They also gave conflicting accounts for the u turn, which suggests they are untrustworthy. Avoid at all lengths!
