I find this company to be a scam

I find this company to be a scam. You can't reach them on the phone. Noone is available when you call. I also have unauthorized charges to my company bank card. I would not recommend this company!

These guys don't follow through

Maybe I'm an outlier but 3 times in the last 3 weeks they have said that they were going to hook me up with links to their "client portal", they have said that they would send instructions for logging on and editing my google business page (and something else) which they haven't done.
They don't seem to review notes before talking to me. They quote unbelievable numbers.
I wish I had my money back.

Horrible customer service

This company has terrible customer service, they are extremely pushy in their sales tactics even as far as to insult me when I told him I had to talk to my husband by implying I was being abused by my husband. I got very angry and he tried to backpedal but I had already decided not to go any further with the company.

Do not hire this company

Do not hire this company. A year later and over five thousand spent and nothing to show for it! Please do yourself a favour and listen to your intuition. Apex media solutions /Rise is a scam.

When this is what their former employee had to say, you know this company is not worth the investment. Lesson learned !

**Attention to Reviews:**
Pay close attention to the one-star reviews; they offer the most honest and unbiased feedback. It’s concerning how many of the five- and four-star reviews cluster around the same timeframe, likely to manipulate the algorithm and create a misleading impression of high ratings. It’s what they are best at.

**My Experience:**
Unfortunately, my time working here was a waste. The company shows little regard for either clients or employees. They enroll customers at exorbitant prices without clear communication and seem only to care if you’re willing to pay significantly. They are also willing to low ball if you complain well enough.

**Work Environment:**
Training is minimal to non existent, relying heavily on scripts and everyone telling you figure it out or make something up, and turnover is high because employees eager to learn are treated as expendable. It feels like everyone is in a managerial or supervisory role, but many are simply retention agents focused on upselling rather than providing genuine support or actual feedback. This is why most of you frequently encounter different media managers.

**Concerns Ignored:**
Any concerns you raise are redirected to retention, and actual problems remain unresolved. The management is ineffective, and I strongly advise against wasting your time or money here.

**Final Thoughts:**
Before getting caught in this trap, I recommend researching strategies on YouTube and learning about SEO independently. Good luck, and take care!!!

They don't care about your business ,only your money

Due to extenuating circumstances (which they cited as reasonable grounds) I requested cancellation of services in exchange for a refund for the remaining/unused portion of the contract. There was no negotiation or agreement reached and I would not recommend this company to anyone who values bolstering the local economy.

Do your due diligence FIRST!

Initially I’m the do it yourself kind of person. However after not seeing much progress being made I opted to be open to Apex helping me achieve the desired results, because of what they showed me that would get my business visible on google and on voice search. I paid the 1127.98 to get started and pay 399.00 per month with no long term contract. I was also assigned an account manager that would go over my listing and search results once a month during our call and I could also call anytime or email if necessary. I was guaranteed that within 90 days I would be satisfied with the service and results. However that was not the case. I ended up getting switched to two different account managers over the 90 days I stayed with them and the guaranteed results never happened. I was shown by another company that is ranked and listed with actual results that I am being taken advantage of. To all those that are considering to do business with Apex Media Solutions be advised to just stay away and do your due diligence on them or any company you may be considering to hire to improve or boost your business’ online reputation and presence. I am sure that the majority of you who have done business with Apex never sought them out on your behalf but received a sales call from them. The cancellation process was tedious as they called repeatedly for two months(December and January) to get me to stay as my listing was improving but I was done because nothing they guaranteed happened and the listing results was a lie as the other company that called me exposing them showed me. I hope things change for the better with Apex but I highly doubt that as I see and read the bad reviews and complaints with the BBB to which leaves me to wonder are the positive reviews even legitimate and real? I hope this helps other from making a mistake of using Apex Media Solutions!

Very very disappointment how much they…

Very very disappointment how much they charge and never deliver the service
And by the way, there is no refund even if you cancel the next day
Customer service was very rude
Never got any results not even one phone call don’t invest money with this company. If you want to get the best results, you can put the same amount into the Google and the results are amazing only from Google.

Bait and switch

Bait and switch, don't trust them. Received a call. I spent what I thought was a year subscription $329.00. Had a call from an analysist to find out that I would need to pay another $399.00 for setup and $399.00 per month for services!!! Total scam! be careful

The people are great and easy to work…

They are criminals, I submitted a cancelation request weeks in advance and they waited until the day after my monthly charge to cancel, keeping the $200. I spoke to a rep who let me know this happens all the time and is common practice with this company. DO NOT work with them. I was a member for well over a year, I got 0 extra business. Iw couldn't be so upset if it didn't take multiple emails and phone calls just for them to tell me they will not be refunding me. $200 for 1 day, Garbage company never trust them...

They call me after hour and 30 mns I signed up and then next day I checked the reviews red flags all over I call right away and the customer service person didn’t want to give me any information set up appointment for 2 weeks later cause they want to keep the money don’t even talk to this people

This company is manipulative. They will convince you that your not on a voice platform and then look into a visability score that's made up by them. In order to get even more money from you. Tried to get my 1000 plus dollars back from them and they refused

Scam Alert

I had thought I ended my service wit them 14 months ago.
Come to find out they continued to bill me after having stopped all communication.
Not an email or invoice in 14 months. Not an update on my services. Nothing. Scam all the way.
Also look at the positive reviews. All bots.

Stay away from this company

First off, I started with Apex to get my business out there they said if it looked like they were not doing anything in the first three months I could cancel. I’ve tried canceling and canceling and canceling, and no one will return my call or my email or return my money. They did nothing for my business. I did most of the work but they said it takes time to get my business out there, but it was never out there big fake company. Take your money and never return your emails or calls thinking I will be contacting an attorney Just to get my money back

"Unprofessional and Aggressive Sales Tactics – Avoid (William) aka Bill at Apex Media Solutions!

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Apex Media Solutions due to an agent named Bill. He initially contacted me about an SEO deal, but when I didn’t agree to the terms and services, he harassed me with calls for three days straight. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. A legitimate marketing agency should respect potential clients' decisions, not resort to aggressive sales tactics. If you’re considering working with them, I highly suggest either finding a different agent or using a completely different company altogether. Dealing with Bill was a complete waste of time and energy.

This place is a garbage company they waste your time and money. I started with them in September 2024 to January 2025 for my business to be put on all the voice search platforms and do seo work as of January still don't show up on but 1 out of 5 of voice search devices and on page 11. They got my google business listing suspended twice and wasted 2 months now I'm fighting to get my money back . I would highly recommend you not using this company. They switched me through 5 different people in the short time . And also never got all my listing correctly across all the different places it was listed wrong info and so on they make a lot of promises and fulfill very little.

This company started out great until I…

This company started out great until I no longer needed their service. The contract stated I could cancel anytime via email or mail. When I email the cancellation letter, they advised it didn't work that way. I told them I no longer need there service and I couldn't afford the fee. The fraudulent charged on my card without my consent. Now they won't take my calls.

If I could rate this a zero I would…

If I could rate this a zero I would terrible customer service decided I wanted to cancel after our zoom call because they wanted to charge and additional $350 a month to get me in a 50 mile radius on google and payed up for a year and they told me they can’t refund me or cancel any reoccurring payments DONT do it you will regret it!

Be very wary of this company

Be very wary of this company. You can’t seem to call and speak to anyone, just leave messages, and getting a response takes days. Asking them to cancel my subscription service with them is proving to be extremely difficult. I emailed last Friday to request in writing that it be canceled, then on Sunday I was billed again for the subscription. They bill in advance of work being done. I wrote another email requesting my subscription be cancelled and a refund processed. I had someone call me yesterday who said they could be my account manager as my past account manager missed our scheduled call the previous Thursday. I said I was still only interested in cancelling. After multiple calls and emails I’ve still had no response from a supervisor.
UPDATE: After asking for a time I’d hear from a supervisor and being told by end of day (longer then the 24hrs they first suggested), I did finally receive a call from a supervisor who was polite and said they would start processing a refund and would confirm my subscription was cancelled. I did mention in my last email to the administrator - before receiving my call from supervisor- that I would be lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau who seems to have had many complaints. I wish I’d done my homework before signing up. Though it was resolved I can NOT recommend this company. I suggest doing your research before starting any work with them.
