Initially i used vela for basic…

Initially i used vela for basic updates. Worked fine for that, no issues. When i needed something more advanced it was not available and Justin argued with me that it was and refused a refund. I needed to bulk edit several prices under personalization. several bugs this time and I had to repeat my price updates INDIVIDUALLY and sync multiple times. I would have probably came back to the platform later for ease of basic edits had they just refunded my monthly fee since that is the only reason i renewed my subscription. It is cancelled now and I will never renew again due to the poor customer service.

A Game Changer for My Etsy Shop

I just used Vela to bulk edit nearly 300 listings on my Etsy shop, and it saved me countless hours of tedious work. The interface is clean, intuitive, and lightning fast, which is exactly what you want when managing a large catalog of products.

What really stood out was the support. Justin was incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure everything ran smoothly for me. That level of customer care is rare and really appreciated.

I noticed some negative reviews on here, and honestly, I genuinley don’t understand them. My experience has been nothing but excellent. If you manage multiple listings and value your time, Vela is an absolute must have tool. 10/10

This company is a total fraud

This company is a total fraud. I repeat total fraud. Justin, the owner, is a disgusting human being.

Go on reddit and do a search and you will see other threads talking about the same thing - if you cancel membership, they do NOT cancel your membership and will continue to charge your credit card.

If you dispute them with credit card company, they just provide their merchant with made up screenshots stating that the client just recently cancelled. Thats their strategy - hoping that you never check to see if it actually cancels the first time around.. Justin has this down to a science.

I read several threads of people talking about the same thing and it happened to me.

Avoid this company at all costs

Stay away

I signed up for getvela to assist in bulk editing but should have stayed away instead. The app is full of bugs and only a partial of the edits were done.

I kept trying and trying to finish my work but to no success. This is such a waste of time and the instructions are not clear at wall.

Also, I agree with the previous reviewer that the customer support is very very rude and quite aggressive.

Touch grass, Justin.

I'm not surprised that Justin from GetVela has been spoken about in these reviews. He is the most unhelpful and unfriendly customer service rep I've ever dealt with.

I reached out to GetVela the day my auto payment was to be drafted and asked to cancel. Instead they charged me and told me they weren't able to refund past payments. I'm in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card instead, since Justin has been so sassy and rude.

If you're a growing shop on Etsy, do not use GetVela. They charge you for how many shops you connect and the # of listings you have (but wait, this also includes your deactivated and expired listings too).

Their competition offers a much more affordable option, and allows me to connect unlimited shops at no extra charge.

I won't be surprised if GetVela goes out of business soon. They used to be free, and now they're just greedy. Then who will poor Justin get his wittle power trips from every day?

Saves some time but has a lot of bugs

Saves some time, but so many bugs that havent been solved in a long time. Sync messes up image order, stock number, sometimes doesn't upload all images to etsy. it's super frustrating to constantly check all products if the sync messed up anything.

The customer service is horrible and the agents ignore your for days, the app is glitchy and only works half the time. If you are someone serious about growing your business its best to do all this yourself as this app is only half decent and their team are absolute rubbish!

Too many glitches

Too many glitches. My prices were constantly changed, made the product cheaper, which customers purchased before I had a chance to fix. Variations were all messed up, or missing all together. Instead of saving me time and money I ended up having the exact opposite experience. Wish I unsubscribed sooner, instead of sticking around for a year in hopes that glitches would be fixed. Customer service is non-existent, you only deal with a chatbot, or outsourced agent that is not versed in Vela technology.

Helpful but expensive for multiple shops.

Helpful but expensive if you run multiple stores. I have 2 Etsy, and 1 Shopify linked with them.
They charge by the listing, even for inactive listings in your shop, so that can really add up if you have multiple stores that have been up for a while with hundreds of inactive listings. It is super helpful, but not perfect, I find sometimes the changes dont synch, despite me doing the right thing. They would be great if they had an enterprise solution for multiple shops and one price because if you sell on multiple channels its really expensive. Despite what others have said, I have found customer support to be every good and patient, but maybe thats bc I'm paying 50/ month between all my stores, and I plan to add more?

Awful service - app does not work

The app is no longer working with my shopify store - tried to bulk edit just a handul of listings - vela shows the sync has been succcessful but absolutely no change in my shopify listings. Bot support is useless, when clicked to wait for a human response the waiting time was listed as under 20 mins - 3 hours later nothing. $40 per month should get better service and an app that works

Yeah, nothing like having the "team" wade in to a question you've asked the bot, and provide an unsolicited - and sometimes even rude answer.

Bad customer service

I was having issues performing a task that I never did before. I contacted support using the chat to get some directions. I was sent a link to a video, which I watched carefully. However I still had questions, so I asked again. He referred me to the same video a second time. I watched it again, yet despite following the steps, I could not get the expected result. At this point I was feeling dumb.

Yet, I asked him a third time. Believe it or not this Justin guy asked me to watch the video once more, even if I told him that I followed the steps and I couldn't get the expected result. I was genuinely asking him to have a quick look at what I had done to see if he could find the problem.

I never heard back, he just stopped replying. I guess he thinks his time is too valuable to help a paying customer. You won't get another $$$ from me. There is a reason why this profile is full of customer service complaints. Get a better app.

I regret to say that my experience with Vela has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. Despite being a paying customer, I've found their customer support to be virtually non-existent. I've reached out multiple times for assistance, and to my disappointment, I have not received a single response.

It's disappointing to encounter such a lack of professionalism and disregard for customers, especially when we're entrusting our business needs to them. Not only has their lack of response caused inconvenience, it has also negatively affected my business operations.

I urge anyone considering their services to think twice. If you run into any issues, don't expect any help or response from their team. Unfortunately, Vela seems more interested in taking your money than providing the services they advertise or supporting their customers.

Overall, I would strongly advise avoiding Vela. There are far better options available with more reliable customer support. I am incredibly disappointed and would rate my experience 0 out of 5 stars.

Please, save your time, money, and the potential headache and consider alternative solutions for your needs.

Asked for a refund and stated not using the service for 3 weeks and they refused

I haven't used the service for about 3 months, they charged me this morning, and when I asked them for a refund they said no, claiming I didn't cancel before the renewal time. They did not send me a single reminder, I stated I haven't used the service in 3 weeks, but no, they were adamant, I am currently speaking to my bank directly to arrange a refund!

Update: I have been refunded the amount by getvela themselves after a bit of back and forth, but everything is normal, I forgot to mention, I like their service, however, it's not worth a subscription, it's more of a once every 4months or so you purchase a monthly subscription, make the changes you want and then don't use it until you need to. I give an overall 4* for the service but dropped one due to the inconvenience they have caused.
