It was ok ...
Nightmare from start to finish was sold a faulty product that I collected from the warehouse myself on the Sunday. Apparently it was "a gesture of Goodwill" they delivered me one that wasn't faulty 3 days later! Really? Delivery people were lovely and the price was decent.

All of our appliances are supplied sealed and boxed directly from the manufacturer, so unfortunately we’re not aware of any faults prior to collection or delivery. While standard procedure for collected items is for them to be returned to us by the customer, in your case we arranged a collection and delivered a replacement appliance free of charge as quickly as possible to minimise disruption.

Brilliant appliance
Brilliant appliance. Only fault is that we paid for the unboxing but didn’t get it. We had to unbox the appliance ourselves. Lost out on £10 again.

Appliance World Lies
I'd give minus 100 stars if I could. The appliance should have been delivered today (3rd April). I was given a delivery window of 17:45 - 19:45. At 17:58 today I received an email stating that the order was not delivered due to the following reason: "customer is temporarily absent". This is a lie. I have been at the property all day. At no time have I left the property. Furthermore, at no time today did anyone from Appliance World, or anyone acting for Appliance World, call at the property, or ring the contact number supplied. Appliance World has my money but I have no washing machine and no idea when I will receive it.
07/04/2026 In response to AWO's reply, I repeat, on the day of delivery no calls from AWO or anyone acting for them were received on the contact number supplied, which was available all day, nor were there any missed calls registered for the number. The fact that it was a landline number is immaterial; had it rang, I'd have answered it.

We’re sorry to hear how frustrated you are with this situation, however we do need to clarify a few points.
Our delivery team made multiple attempts to contact you on the number provided with the order and were unable to get through. We attempted to call three times using the contact details supplied, which was a landline number, and unfortunately were unable to make contact to complete the delivery.
The notification you received is an automatic system update and, in this case, was the closest available description of the situation. As we were unable to contact you to confirm access, the driver had to mark the delivery as unsuccessful on their device.
We fully appreciate how inconvenient this is and would not deliberately miss a delivery.

Excellent communication and service. They gave us a time slot via e-mail and text us twice on the day and followed by a phone call two hours before delivery.
Delivery driver was very friendly and dropped off the washer dryer in the place I wanted. Highly recommended them.

Great communication along the…
Great communication along the way....fridge freezer wasn't in stock our own doing as we wanted a specific model and was kept informed with updates...what was brilliant was the delivery driver and the live updates..the driver was polite, curious and very careful with the new applience...will definitely use them again and again
