I found the whole experience very intrusive they seemed to imply that I was trying to launder money when in reality I was helping my daughter out with a deposit for a new house . They were wanting to know how I came into the money and see all my bank details.

We can assure you there's no implication of wrongdoing - conveyancers are legally required under Anti-Money Laundering rules to verify where gifted funds came from, including understanding the giftor's income. It's a routine part of every property transaction where a gift is involved, and Armalytix is simply the tool your daughter's conveyancer has chosen to collect that information.
