Atlas Debt Relief Avis 

Atlas is a great program that helps with debts. At first it is frustrating. Finally Atlas was able to make my first settlement with a credit card debt, bringing my worries to a minimum and feeling some kind of relief.

I have to call you in order to get any information.
Nobody ever tells me what they are working on my behalf. This process is taking way too long. I expected Atlas to notify all of my creditors immediately. They have done nothing. My credit score is about 550 due to their inaction. I expected more active negotiations even if that means that they will lend me the money to resolve these accounts within the first 6 months. None of that happened.
I will never use them again or recommend them.

9 months and Atlas just settled a debt for $290.00 when I owe $280.00 , I regret unrolling into this plan.

It’s been almost a year and they have started paying my debts off. You have to be patient because you have to build up enough money in your savings account so they can use it to pay off your debts and negotiate for you. Yes your credit score does take a dump, but in time it will recover Don’t stop making your payments.

I will admit at first I was very leery about this. I just approved the first settlement and Inlook forward to clearing my debts.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. I agreed to settle my debt with them 7 months ago. I had 7 cards to close. They only settled one card $2600 closed at $1400. I paid $3300 into my account over 7 months and when I canceled they only returned $1300. I have been calling my credit card companies myself and have been closing my accounts very easily with one call at way a way better rate then the one card that they did close. These companies are a scam. They ask you to stop paying your bills for 6-7 months while they close your accounts. There are a bunch of hidden fees as well. What I have learned is you can just be delinquent on your own accounts and call the companies yourself and settle everything quite easily.

Paying huge service fees and getting no service. Has not even touched one of my creditors. Who knows what they are doing with all the money I have paid them. Seem like scammers

The lan is very straight forward. Make your payments and good things happen!

Finally I see some movement towards my settlements

I tried contacting you and I was waiting for a long time for u to pick up 3 different time on Thursday and Friday no answer I had important questions to ask but I gave up I don't understand not having my call answered I will try today

I was getting overwhelmed since I had not received any notifications on the status of my debt. I think there should be more communication on their behalf. I do thank them for their hard work on getting me cleared on my debt.

I have been attempting to get ahold of their help line for months now in regards to my account. When we submitted an offer to be accepted with one of our credit card companies, atlas had me sign paperwork over the phone via email, but a week later I opened the app and saw that the offer had been “Declined.”

Without my permission, they allowed my payment information to be changed, and stopped charging me my regular monthly payments to settle my debt. I have not been charged in almost 3 months and have been setting aside money to pay them whenever I hear back.

Whenever I communicate with them via email because I spend 2-3 hours on hold each time I call, I receive a response, but it simply tells me that they cannot help me over email, and that I should “call at my earliest convenience”.

Things are finally happening and settlement offers are rolling in! I'm so pleased with the great offers that Atlas has negotiated for me!

During what I now know was just a sales call, I was promised to pay only 50-60% of my total debt.
Multiple settlement offers were ignored by atlas, with no communication as to why. One settlement was made afterwards for more than double the initial offer. My next settlement is coming up and is over $7,000 more than the initial offer I was given.
What they didn't tell me initially as well was the high fees I would be paying.
In total I enrolled $28,000 in debt with atlas.
When it's all said and done I will be paying $25,500 to my creditors and $8,200 in fees to atlas.
That's over $33,000 and over $5,000 more than I enrolled initially. My credit is tanked and the distress this process has caused me and the stress that knowing I won't be paying this off for at least another year is ridiculous.
I was sold on a too good to be true dream.
I would recommend seeking counsel on your own outside of this business. They don't know what they are doing and are completely lying to people.

Everything was done expeditiously. I got a lower offer than expected from a creditor.

poor communication, no one answers the phone

Customer service used to be great but in the past few months I can’t get any kind of response, I’ve sat on hold for hours multiple times only to just give up, no one ever answered, I tried to chat with a robot and it said to call, I got an email that said to call for a time-sensitive matter and I tried emailing still no response. I was late processing paperwork for a litigation because of this. Terrible service as of late.

I had a settlement agreement off I accepted in February and it was just approved. I also had an off with Synchrony Sam's Club offer that I uploaded with a due date of May 18th and haven't heard back.

I was promised that my two credit cards would be paid off within a certain period of time. One of these cards was neglected for almost a year and then I was asked to approve an additional $2000 to complete the transaction. Total bait and switch. I will be reporting to BBB as well.
