Hi, We had a big issue becasue our parcel did not collected in time to get to a medical course we were running, so after talking with Rusiate she gave us alternative ways like getting the package to the depot. She also went above and beyond and made matter of urgency noted to the courier for us. I really appreciated being able to call back and talk to Rusiate again as she knew the situation. Her calling to say the package had arrived was a nice touch.

Scammers

Warning to everyone: do NOT send anything with these scammers!

If you try to send anything that’s not in a cardboard box – even if it’s a perfectly normal item – they’ll hit you with a £50 “manual handling fee”. This service only accepts parcels in cardboard boxes, unlike other courier companies in the UK that allow different types of packaging.

They hide behind made-up rules and fine print, designed to trick customers. This isn’t even a real courier company – they simply act as a middleman, passing shipments to actual delivery companies while making huge profits through hidden charges.

They call themselves a shipping company, but in reality, they’re just a reselling platform, earning money by charging unsuspecting customers.

You’re much better off using real courier services like ParcelForce, Evri, or others – they’ll let you send parcels even without a cardboard box.

Be very careful – this is a scam disguised as a courier service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY — Completely inexperienced and unprofessional!

They shipped my goods to Canada via airfreight, then returned them with extra charges, claiming I didn’t have a customs broker arranged. The quantity and value of the goods was low, and if they had advised me beforehand, I wouldnt be bothered to ship it. Instead, they failed to communicate critical requirements, and now they’re chasing me for the return shipping costs — which exceed the value of the goods themselves. I’ve told them to destroy the goods, as I refuse to pay more than the goods are worth. An extremely frustrating and poorly handled experience.

We have used this company for over 8…

We have used this company for over 8 years now off and on..Will not come back ..They under quote now and hit you with bills after the fact..Last 3 orders have been the case and all have been since checked items and they have been quoted correctly..We will open accounts up directly with FEDEX and use Truckit now as it is simpler..We only used this company as it was convenient..Never again..

There are many far superior options when it comes to shipping for small business

Dealing with Interparcel is NOT the journey their smick advertising would leave you to believe – a caution for all small businesses, find ANY other option you can first. We’re a small business that ships somewhere between 500 and 1000 parcels a year, ranging in size from packages of a few grams right up to large stereo components. We predominantly use another “virtual courier” company (the big one that starts with S) for most of our shipments, but on a handful of occasions have also used Interparcel, partly because we keep getting bombarded by advertisements telling us how good their service is. Although we have some issues from time to time with the service we mainly use they are always very responsive to contact, and more often than not, situations we experience resolve amicably. Our experience with Interparcel is the polar opposite of that.
Not only have we had a much higher percentage of issues with Interparcel’s service and carriers they use, but on every single occasion we have asked them for assistance we’ve received platitudes and lots of words, but NEVER a resolution to our problem. We’ve had shipments delivered damaged despite first class packaging. We’ve had shipments delivered piecemeal. We’ve had shipments delivered incredibly late with no meaningful tracking. And, contacting Interparcel asking for a resolution has been the only option in all of those cases, always resulting in a response, but NEVER resulting in a resolution.
Further, Interparcel’s “insurance” offering is virtually useless – read their extensive list of “prohibited” items they won’t insure and you’ll soon work out it’s a con.
Again… every single time we have asked for Interparcel for assistance has resulted in a response, BUT NO RESOLUTION. Customers (people like us) appear to be a nuisance that gets in the way of them keeping their transport company masters happy. Our most recent foray into using their service resulted in us being charged an extra $160 on top of an $89 freight bill because the freight company involved claimed a 10kg parcel was 3cm longer than we booked. Take it in… a $160 money grab, and although assistance was requested Interparcel responded as per their previous pattern, siding with the transport company, offering a word salad of platitudes, but no assistance.
Small businesses need to use virtual courier companies like this to get reasonable rates, but PLEASE try all of the other options available to you first before inviting heartache into your life with Interparcel.

I sent a box from Australia to Spain…

I sent a box from Australia to Spain and paid $276. Before shipping, they required a very detailed list of every single item inside the box, including where each item was manufactured. I provided everything they asked for. However, when the box arrived in Spain, it was held by Customs and eventually returned to origin because it contained a facial cream and a couple of lipsticks.

This restriction was never mentioned beforehand — despite them requesting a full item list! If they already knew certain items would cause an issue, they should have clearly advised about it before accepting the shipment. Otherwise, what is the point of asking for a detailed list?

To make things worse, I was charged $403 to return the box to Australia — significantly more than the original shipping cost. I had no option but to pay it, as I was told the box would be destroyed otherwise. It felt like I was being cornered into an unfair situation with no real support or solution.

They were quick to take my money, but added no real value to the process. I wish I had used a proper courier service that provides a minimum of guidance before sending.

I felt misled and disappointed by the experience.
I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone looking for transparency or accountability. I would never use them again.

Very helpful

Had some issues with finding address and had to organise collection at a local depot. This was easily sorted, Naomi was particularly helpful and replied to all emails promptly.
