The only sadness, which I’ve discussed with Susannah was that the web view was not turned off to enable us to have a private goodbyes which really saddened us as a family.

Thank you everyone in Austin's for your care and guidance whilst arranging my husband's funeral. All the staff in Welwyn, the Celebrant, and during the funeral were all very kind and considerate and I am very grateful.

Austins were absolutely fantastic in dealing with our unexpected loss from start to finish , we used the new chapel in the old town which was beautiful , every member of staff and those associated with Austins were also fantastic. And everyone in attendance said how wonderful it was also.

Beautiful office in Stevenage. Staff all very helpful and treated the deceased and family with compassion and respect.
Communication with Funeral Director was excellent and all wishes carried out.
Assistance with third parties regarding visual photo tribute and appointing the appropriate celebrant for the type of service was very much appreciated
Service ran smoothly and my brother was given an amazing send off, celebrating his 70 years of life

From my/our first visit at what was a difficult time, all your staff were respectful, considerate, caring and helpful. There was no rush and questions were answered knowledgeably. Subsequent questions on the phone were answered efficiently/effectively if I needed a return call. Even when I made a ‘quick pop in’ visit, I was helped instantly. Thank you. My daughter and I spent a long time deciding on the service details and appreciated the several drafts until we achieved the final Order of Service. The service was beautiful… All your organising went well before, during and after my husband’s funeral. Thank you to every person involved.

We were given a very nice welcome . Tea and biscuits. Very friendly atmosphere. Dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Very good service. Kelly was kind and understanding when we met her for the first time and as we knew nothing about how to organise a funeral, she talked us through all the decisions we needed to make in a supportive way.

At what was a very difficult time, the help and support provided from the Welwyn village office was extremley professional and comforting. Kelly Hedges was most attentive and professional throughout as was Lee Mason on the day of the funeral.
