I have been with Australian Unity for quite a few years and on the odd occasion I need to contact them the process is quick and easy. I prefer to call and speak to someone and I don’t have to wait an eternity! I am very happy with the refund amount on the services I use. Highly recommend

not picking call app is worthless if…
not picking call app is worthless if make claim not showing in app or online and claim never will come just wasting a time with these guys please be aware these kind of fraud even they don't cover blood test and gp appointments after 2 months waiting time

Great service over the past 15 years
I have been a member with Australian Unity for about 15years and find the current staff are well trained & easy to deal with. I have been in the phone queue & requested a call back, which was great & saved me time waiting on hold. I have never had any issues with claims and find the online claims process very straight forward. Great service !

The worst you can get in Australia
The worst you can get in Australia. I spent a year on it and was cursing my decision each time I had to claim anything. There is no clinic in Australia that knows this health insurance, which means every time you have to upload your receipts online with proof to claim anything.

Easy process to join.
Was with Australian unity before and changed for a cheaper premium however it was the wrong choice..so have moved back to Australian unity as the care about their members.

I have had health insurance for over 30…
I have had health insurance for over 30 years and have down to rounds on most other health providers. I have come back to Australian Unity as they have always been the best to deal with and have had no problems when making claims. I have had several major surgeries, and Australian unity processed the claims quickly without any question. It is a great comfit to go into hospital without having to worry about my health insurance.
