Auto Car Paint UK Avis 

I used the brush on engine paint and found it superb. It took 2 coats and gave a high gloss finish in the light blue. I have since had many admiring comments about it and it is very easy to keep clean. Hang in there with the communication but the end result is brilliant.

Absolute joke. On a request for an extremely popular classic car colour I received an email composed by Dylan who appears to be a 3 year old. Then on confirming this toddlers question I have emailed them twice without reply. 3 weeks of my time wasted.
Update: I have received an email from Dylan tonight at approx 21.00 stating he was trying to help me and found the review insulting. I find it insulting that I wait 3 weeks for initial response and then long delays between each response. Stating he had time of for personal reasons does not justify all the other delays. The reviews alone would speak for themselves. Not a semblance of professionalism with this company.

Purchased from them twice now, first time the paint was not correct for the paint code and the second time the spray can wouldn't even spray at all, they have a ridiculous wait time for items to be sent out and customer support is useless. Don't use this company, use a more reputable company if you need paint matching to a paint code or want your item in a reasonable time frame.

Ordered paint and primer only received paint. Contacted them via email and they offered to send out the missing primer. 9 days later and no sign of the primer, chased with another email and no response. This seems to be a common thread in the reviews. Avoid!

There is a company called GIFT PLAQUES UK LTD trading as autocolourdirect from this address, selling on eBay with great ratings there but my own experience with them fell far short. It was always going to be a long shot that this spray paint from auto colour direct would closely match that on my car even if I was careful to ensure the colour code was right (which I was) so I did not spray it on my car without testing it which is a good job. I was astounded how unmatched it is!
UPDATE: Auto Car Paint UK believe my review actually belongs to another business and have asked for it to be updated. It would be difficult to agree with any confidence at this point that my review was meant for another business but I’m happy to do so if that is the case. The circumstantial evidence suggests otherwise in my opinion. There is car paint being sold from the same address in Northern Ireland under various trading styles including Auto Car Paint UK (autocarpaint.co.uk) and also an eBay account autocolourdirect (GIFT PLAQUES UK LTD trading as) with the same address. A gentleman named Dylan Wilson appears to be involved in both autocarpaint.co.uk and the eBay account, autocolourdirect. Could Auto Car Paint UK resolve this, I wonder, by providing the link to the place on their website (autocarpaint.co.uk) where they identify the legal entity behind their business (company, sole trader, partners, as the case may be and, if applicable, the company registration number) as is required for compliance with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013? A business name like Auto Car Paint UK alone is not sufficient for these purposes. Forgive me if I’ve missed something in which case I’m happy to stand corrected.

Order some paint didn’t arrive emailed them twice with no reply wouldn’t use this company again utter disgrace choose elsewhere

My paint was delivered quickly, but I had a problem with it mixing. I emailed Dylan and explained the problem, he wasn't the quickest at replying, but once it was established the paint wasn't right, a replacement was sent quickly and its perfect.

Disappointing after-sales service – replacement promised but no update

I ordered a colour-matched spray paint for my Toyota Esquire, but unfortunately the colour I received did not match the vehicle properly despite the paint code being correct.

I contacted the seller and provided photos showing the difference. They acknowledged the issue and, on 9 August, told me they would remix another can using the correct formula. I was specifically told that replacements are normally dealt with towards the end of the week and that I would receive tracking details as soon as it was dispatched.

Unfortunately, since then I have received no replacement, no tracking information and no meaningful update.

Mistakes with paint mixing can happen, and I was initially happy with the seller's response and willingness to correct it. The disappointing part is the lack of communication after promising a replacement.

I have given them reasonable time to resolve the issue, but being left without an update is frustrating. I will update this review if the seller resolves the problem.

Great product and service, great match and finish , easy to order and quick delivery , will use again .

What an absolute rip off, selling as aerosol, three tiny pots turned up with 6 wafer thin plastic sticks with the smallest amount for fabric which was useless, to top it off the BMW polar white is nowhere near the colour supplied it’s more like your granddad beige shirt, very disappointing and a waste of money

Hi. Just opened my touch up paint. Order 92786. My car is Tornado Red. But I ordered matt black (for the upper door edges). Your delivery note says EBENHOLZ BLACK. But you sent me Tornado Red. Help please!

I ordered 1l of chlorinated rubber paint from Amazon£18,they only sent 500ml, I also ordered 2l from eBay £29 as the first lot wasn't enough and only 500ml arrived again,they claimed that £29 was for only 500ml. They refuse to fix the issue so I would definitely recommend being cautious if dealing with them

They send me the wrong colour and I try to send them email they don't answer the phone number they provide always disconnected avoid it's a scam

Ordered paint for my VW Golf, arrived very quickly, well packaged and a perfect match for my car. Glad to see not too much packaging and a couple of glass / screen wipes enclosed too ! Very well priced would definitely use again and would highly recommend. Thank you.

Ordered paint, arrived with a bottle had leaked, emailed and sent photo. Took a long time to get back to me but did eventually resove the issue.

Auto Car Paint UK (also known as Scooby's Paint) are a fantastic company. Not only do they sell high quality car spray paint colour matched to manufactures paint code via their very easy to use matching system database. but they were also able to help me out when I had a problem and able to facilitate a very acceptable solution (the problem was not anything to do with Auto Car Paint UK). They were easily available for communication making me as a customer feel very reassured, especially in this modern era of the dreaded helpful / no help / time wasting robot chat machine also known as AI. I will be using Scooby's paint again, they have now become one of my favorite online companies!

Delivered a bottle that was leaking.
Contacted Dylan, his response was that the contents was still usable.
Anyone with the most elementary knowledge of chemistry knows that automotive paints are not homogeneous fluids,so if it leaks in transit, the remnant cannot be as originally constituted.

Avoid this company like the plague.
Pity I cant give them minus 5 stars.
