Really disappointing experience, expensive for what you get, and the service doesn't match how it's sold. We've been with them for just over 3 years, so have plenty of evidence from repeated use and seeing how the business is actually run.

Avensure's website promises you a "single point of contact" who becomes an expert in your specific business. In reality, we found ourselves passed between different advisors, who knew nothing about our business and were just offering generic, off-the-shelf advice, so the "gets to know your business" promise simply isn't true. Other advisors made repeated errors that cost us time and money, with no accountability when it was called out.

We raised a formal complaint about the repeated mistakes. The only resolution offered was one month free, no acknowledgement of the wider problem, and when we asked multiple times how to exit the contract, we were ignored. There's no way to trial the service, and the contract terms make it near-impossible to leave once you're in without paying a lot of money to do so, regardless of how poor their service has been. So essentially you are trapped.

Some of the documents we've been sent over are lower quality than what you can make yourself with AI tools now. Given the high price point, that's genuinely hard to justify as an SME.

If you're considering Avensure, go in with your eyes open, get everything in writing, read the contract terms carefully before signing, and don't expect the personalised service the marketing describes. In all honesty though, I'd suggest avoiding completely.

- One exception I have & think it's worth mentioning as it's hard to find a needle in a haystack, has been dealing with Kevin James who deals with HR documentation. Kevin is extremely prompt in his replies and very clear and thorough and always gets back to my regular questions and emails. Although I do not think this justifies how bad Avensure's service is, I do want to recognise some good people who work there. Thank you Kevin!

My HR advisor has been approachable, professional and very supportive throughout. They have taken the time to understand the individual circumstances of each situation and have always provided clear, practical guidance. I have had a really positive experience with Avensure. The team have always been professional, helpful and supportive, providing clear advice whenever I have needed it. Their service has been reliable and has made dealing with HR matters much easier. I would definitely recommend Avensure.

Experience with Avensure is always great. The team is helpful. However, there is usually a delay in receiving the reponse and have to wait for a day or sometimes more to get the advice. This delays the whole decision making process within the business. I would really appreciate if the team is able to revert quicker.
Overall, it is great to work with them.

Nicole's support has been invaluable to me. She is always there when I need her for advice and reassurance and she replies to anything I need promptly.
