Garden classic addition
Exceptional and well thought out design.Beautiful finishing, you will be overwhelmed with your gorgeous greenhouse.
However, you will need above average skill and knowledge to complete the project.
It arrives in several flat pack cardboard cases and a two inch thick construction manual.
Approximately it takes four full days from start to finish for two fit persons.

Prompt Service; Top Quality product
I have put a more substantial gazebo from another premium company together before and the quality of workmanship, wood and forethought that has gone into the Backyard Discovery Saxony XL is in another league. Top product. Took me and my wife a total of about 9 hours to fully assemble, thanks to clear instructions and precise pilot holes and unwarped wood. Would not recommend for inexperienced DIYers without more help than what I had.

Nearly perfect!
The whole process was seamless- Easy to order, on time delivery, great packaging, clear instructions, no shortages and a few sensible extra parts
The design is also faultless but I couldn’t give a five star review because of the wooden parts - the wood is very light weight and dry- as a result we encountered several splits requiring workarounds and great care. If only the wood had been of a better quality I’d have happily given a 5 star plus review.
Would add that now it’s up the kids just love it!!!!

All our play units are made of 100% durable cedar wood; this soft wood is naturally resistant to decay and rot and when maintained correctly and sealed with a water based formula will create lasting memories for a long time.

Quality components.
Not yet completed but what has been done has gone together well and the timber is good quality. Steel fixings are solid and fit for purpose, no bendy bits here. Quality screws and bolts. Have high hopes for a substantial structure which should last years if properly looked after.

Well designed and fabricated!
I had been looking forward to having this in my garden, and have not been disappointed. It took a couple of days to build it, and all of the parts fitted together accurately. The trickiest part was fitting the edging trim around the roof. The completed roof is heavy though, too heavy for my wife and I to lift into position without help. Once I get my electricity supply sorted out I will be fixing my festoon lights and then will be ready to fire up the BBQ into the evening. I was very happy with the quality of this, there are a lot of parts but it really does go together very well!

Delivery and packaging all good. When erecting it would be useful to have caps for the slotted joist fixing holes as they are open to the elements, apart from that the instructions are clear and exact.

Loved by my little people
We are absolutely delighted by our choice of the Backyard Discoveries Sweetwater Heights Playhouse. Our grandchildren, aged 8, 5 and 2 run straight past us when they arrive and straight to the back garden for the ‘upstairs den’ and slide.
Delivery was excellent with the delivery people leaving the boxes exactly where they were needed in the garden. The only downside was that although we knew which day it would arrive, we had just 10 minutes warning of the precise time.
It took about 6 hours to put it all together. In fact, with my guidance, my son in law did it all himself and he has never undertaken anything like this before.
The instructions were excellent and, as suggested, we set out all of the different sized screws in different bowls and laid out all of the parts in the right order which made everything very straightforward. There were no missing pieces and everything was very clearly identified.The installation instructions were well organised and we managed with no confusion. Take care though as there are a couple of places where T bolts need to swap sides, such as the top of the ladder.
The knot holes were quite obvious to begin with (the joy of real wood!) but after a cost of varnish, they were quickly neutralised.
The grandchildren love it! We had not realised how well the equipped the kitchen is! Our grandson still beams with joy at the blender with the beans that spin around inside and the hob that lights up. We’ve bought a small tea set to live in the ‘upstairs den’ so orders from the garden cafe are delivered by the waitress flying down the slide! Tables and chairs have also been set up on the ‘ground floor’. Absolutely magnificent and suitable for all weathers.

Fantastic playhouse
Fantastic playhouse, my 2 year old absolutely loves it and so do her big sisters. It took a bit longer than we initially thought to put together but was pretty straightforward. The customer service team were incredible. I ordered a bit too last minute and it wasn’t going to arrive in time for my daughter’s birthday but they put on an extra delivery to make sure it arrived in time, they really went above and beyond.
