Website was easy to use..
Delivery company were in regular contact with updates.
My pergola was well built and easy to construct and you can't fault a company that gives you a few more of each fixing and washer etc than you need in case of damage or loss..

Good quality product but one vital flaw
It was really simple to order and the delivery was quick and well organised. The delivery company kept in communication and even delivered slightly earlier than expected. My new "smoker house" was fairly easy to put together although the nuts and bolts are slightly overwhelming as there's hundreds. They are all labeled though. What stood out was how good quality everything was. All the parts fitted together perfectly and the smoker house looks amazing finished. There is one vital flaw with the flashing. The instructions tell you to screw the flashing over the corrugated metal, however when it rains, water finds it way under the flashing and you end up with a water fall at the back, which got my smoker wet!! I'm going to have to take the roof off and move the flashing underneath the corrugated roof. Not really what I expected for nearly £900.

Delivery was on the day, and between the times quoted, placed in a position of our choosing.
The product itself is still in the boxes as we are preparing the base, but it looks a well built, quality unit, and the reviews are favourable from owners, so expecting the pergola to be really nice

Fantastic customer service from ordering to delivery. Delivery drivers were great called ahead and brought the two packages right round to the back. Product quality is great and surprisingly a really easy build process. Will definitely recommend this to everyone.

We purchased a willow greenhouse 6x9…
We purchased a willow greenhouse 6x9 and she’s a beauty. We have built many things over the years, but this greenhouse from backyard discovery has been excellent. From ordering and getting those reassuring emails about them getting our order ready, to the delivery date, time of delivery and it all happened smoothly and without stress. The delivery drivers were polite and carried it round the back and up steps without a single sigh…ha and the build was equally as pleasant as all the parts are labelled and pilot holes all lined up. Even hanging the door and window was with ease. Would not hesitate to buy from backyard discovery for anything else I need.. thank you ever so much, I will leave a review on the b&q website as I can attach photo for anyone wanting to see the end result as we ordered via them.

Quality great courier service absolutely shocking especially their customer service support
Quality of the product is outstanding and great quality “BUT” they need to change the courier service as they are absolutely useless I made two purchases with backyard and the courier service was awful they didn’t load one of the boxes of a two part delivery
And the second delivery I had the driver called me to say that they were on their way to deliver the order they turned up knocked on the door and it wasn’t loaded on the van don’t they even check the truck for the load so he called the courier office and they said they didn’t know where it was the attitude of not caring about the problem so unprofessional
So for the second time informing backyard discovery about delivery problems they sorted it out again professionally and with compassion about their customers
Customer service was fantastic they just need to get rid of that courier company as they are probably giving backyard a bad reputation
