Like others here I was scammed by this company. "Fortunately" I only lost the deposit, which even the HSBC credit card refused to dispute.

Absolutely Harrowing

What makes the Baggage Hub / Shipping Force experience so unique you ask?

Just imagine for a moment that your boxes to be shipped are your only child,12 year old Miranda that you booked a one week all-inclusive holiday camp for. Prices are good, the website is sleek and the phone contact is very nice - What could possibly go wrong?!
Unfortunately the tour bus to pick her up is a no show (pickup time 9AM-6PM) so you take a second day of annual leave to send her off to her holiday adventure. Still no one arrives but after personally arranging the transfer to the airport on the third day your little girl is finally off to her first holiday adventure without mom and dad! Everything seems good now. Mishaps happen. 
When it is time to welcome little Miranda back in your arms you get the slightly alarming news that the travel agency is actually a front for a UK based terrorist group that kidnapped her and kept her in their lair deep in the English forests. Although your wife does not agree and is crying day and night, you think "Surely these are reasonable people, after all you paid them already!" after 3 weeks of ransom letters and taunting..."Your girl is too fat, pay us 400 GBP for that - Oh no actually she's not anymore, we cut off one arm to make the weight LOL!" 
"We tried to call you 38 times on the number you told us is wrong and you did not answer the phone, VVTF?!?!?!?111""Sure we call you back by today .... NOT HAHAHA Loser!" 
...there is activity. The terrorists agree to release what is left of little Miranda for an additional 70% payment of the initial ransom and add mockingly
"Pay or we charge a fee for each additional day that we further mutilate your daughter."
While you try to convince your wife that suicide is no solution, the terrorists smuggle Miranda to the Dutch splinter group for another week of torture:
"Trust us, the Dutch guys abuse her just as good as we do and it's cheaper this way LOL" 
After 5 weeks you get what used to be sweet Miranda back. The poor soul is unrecognizable, basically just a pile of pulp that sobbs "Why daddy, why?!" over and over again. The doctors say they can reconstruct 60% of her body so there's that..Before I drive to the mental ward where my wife lives now I think "Hopefully other people learn from my mistakes and don't let their most precious things fall into the hands of terrorists" 

And that is my account on how the Baggage Hub / Shipping Force experience feels like.

Absolutely hopeless service...
After paying invoice, they dont care at all....they have 3 subcontractors..no one has any idea whats wrong...after following up for the invoice, they dont really care if parcel is picked up or not...please #stayawayfrombaggagehub

What a disgusting company. Do not use them. Find literally any other courier.

Misinformed, lied to, ignored. No response to my complaint. What a joke.

Hit or miss and questionable honesty

Had two bikes and two boxes of clothes shipped from Spain to the USA, good news is I actually did receive my stuff in good condition. They said it would take 3 to 10 days, no way, it was over a month. When they finally did pick up the items and sent them to their warehouse prior to shipping and weighed the items, they realized they had overcharged me and recalculated the cost, which was less than the original charge. They posted the revised cost on their website briefly which I was fortunately able to download and save, it was posted only for a couple of hours! Then shorty after, they there was a price increase and said that the difference between the revised invoice and what I originally paid was the price increase! I asked for a detailed explanation/ calculation of the price increase, never received it, since it obviously doesn't exist. Nevertheless, I complained to my credit card company, Citibank Card, and they issued me a credit for the difference. Finally, when the items were eventually delivered there was no notice, DHL just showed up at the door and fortunately I just happened to be home at the time of the delivery, no notice whatsoever about the date or time of delivery! Not sure you want to do business with a company with such unscrupulous and unpredictable business practices. Look at the percentage of good reviews vs. bad reviews and decide if that is the kind of company you want to do business with. Buyer beware.

BaggageHub is an excellent Company with…

BaggageHub is an excellent Company with a very fine reliable and helpful service. In their dealings with me, I could not fault them and I will go back to them for future requirements.
The only negative issue I found with them is that their App is awful and does not work. For such a wonderful Company to have such an awful app is extraordinary.
If they can produce a proper working app, I would give the 11 out of 10 but with such an awful app, I would give them 9 out if 10

Lack of everyting

I moved to Nigeria in august 2019 where I didn't experienced problems (I mean a little once my things reached Lagos, but I did manage to get it eventually)

However I've been trying now since april to get it from Nigeria and no luck so far.
The lack of customer service is terrifying and the fact that i've tried to arrange a shitment 5 times with a big no show from the local currier - this is off course not baggagehub's fault but they haven't reached out once to explain or give me a solution.
I have after 3 months given up on them and asked for a full refund. To be continued.....

Booking was easy over the phone

Booking was easy over the phone. The lady I spoke to was helpful and able to answer questions about the doubts I was having due to covid. I also thought the email communication from customer service was great afterwards – they send over everything you need and you get an online checklist to upload documents and info for customs so it made things pretty simple. There was a bit of a delay to the actual delivery because of covid but that’s not their fault and I was able to track everything so it was all fine. Overall it was a very good, smooth service and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Please trust bad reviews

Please trust bad reviews, probably employees are made to post the good reviews. I sent 5 boxes with baggage hub for my move from Munich, Germany to New York USA in November 2020. Out of 5 boxes, I received 4 boxes end of December 2020 and a promise of location the 5th missing box. I have tried to track and trace with TNT in USA, Germany as well as the EU transit hub Belgium. No one knows where that box is and apparently baggage hub is blaming TNT. The box they lost contained all the winter clothes and memories for last years of living in Europe. This crappy company is incompetent, not responding to emails but whenever they do, they say the same thing that they are investigating. They have been now investigating my missing box for last 6 months and no accountability. I asked them to at least pay for the insurance for missing box, no prompt response. Even though they might seem to be the cheapest quotation in the market and now I know why. I am tried to writing to the customer care team, apparently the person who was handling this claim left the company and someone new has been assigned and they say the same thing "they are investigating this claim". I am definitely looking to take legal action. Since they cannot bring my personal items back, all they could do is to pay for the insurance cost for the item that they lost.

Trust the bad reviews! I didn't

Despite reading bad reviews on Google, I still decided to book their service for my employer-initiated move from Singapore to Ireland. I booked them because their sales team was following up a lot and I liked their promises of premium packing service when I was not physically present in Singapore to manage the move. Long story short- I am still in a tussle with them which might become legal very soon, because their packers unprofessionally threw stuff into boxes making the volume of my baggage much higher than what I booked apparently. Now they have ALL my life's belongings in their custody and demanding I pay 44% more than what I initially agreed to. I have never felt as harassed by a business as I feel now- especially by Patsy Beck from their accounts team who has been asking me to show proof over email of what was agreed upon when all their sales team did was speak over the phone and Whatsapp mostly.

Do not work with this company

I sent my three boxes contains 30kg of house stuff from the USA to Australia in November 2020. Today is the 28th of May 2021 and I still haven't received my boxes. They lost one of them and they told me it can happen and no compensation for the because my insurance covers if they lost half of the shipment. Now they cannot find my other two boxes and keep replying to my email saying they are investigating as if everything is ok. I don't know where my boxes are and they are not willing to pay for them as well. It has been 6 months now and still, waiting .

this company is an absolute letdown!!!

this company is an absolute letdown!!!! we moved from austria to new zealand and put our belongings into their hands. 4 month later, still no sign that the boxes have left the UK!
they were really good in getting our money but even the delivery of the boxes was difficult and also the pick up.
and now we might never see our belongings ever again. dont trust them. don’t give them a penny!
they are criminals!!!!

your reply just made me even more upset!
15 weeks our boxes didn’t move out of the UK!
you are advertising the shipment with ships 8-12 weeks!

the predicted arrival of the boxes is 25th of july 2021.
thats 6 month!!!!

and it is simply not true that I kept updated. I always have to contact your company first, several times before I get any reply.

And I will keep posting reviews about your company!

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company. Greedy and exploitative. They engage in sooth-saying on the phone or email without any intention of following through. They have been unable to collect my items from abroad because the courier has on three separate occasions seemingly refused to make a simple 5-second phone call to my friend who lives nearby, thus meaning the collection has been 'missed'. They basically expect that they can show up at the building of a third-floor apartment at any time from 9-6, and you should be waiting outside for the collection team all day. They won't call to say they've arrived. It's literally that bad. Absolutely disgusting work practices.

Total mess.

To start off with my horrid experience with this company, my five boxes were picked up from my origin country. I was leaving the country a few days after, and two days before I was supposed to leave, they send two of my boxes back to my origin address??? I call and they tell me not to accept and that it was a simple mistake. Then the day I was leaving to the airport, the SAME two boxes come back, I send it back again and call customer service (like 8 times before someone actually answered) and they tell me it was a warehouse issue.

Flash forward three months, I was struggling to contact them to locate my packages as they still hadnt reached my destination. Once I finally get a hold of them I find out that they havent even left the origin country as I needed to send a copy of my visa which they NEVER INFORMED OF. So I send the document and speak to a customer service agent again where he tells my 'four' boxes are shipped. HOWEVER, I sent out five, he told me that two broke and they had repackaged them with their own packaging and combined them into one box, they also tried to charge me with a repackage fee.

Flash forward another two months and my parcels finally arrived, to which i discovered this story of "combining" two of my boxes was utterly false. I went through months and months of 'investigation' only for them to tell me they cant do anything after my things were lost and i was blatantly LIED to. All they could offer me was a measly 40 pounds when the things they 'lost' (i suspect stolen) were worth well over 500. This company lacks structure, communication, and responsibility for your personal items. TRUST ME DO NOT USE THEM. My friend and I used their service at the same time and he too had a similarly difficult experience.

DO NOT USE BAGGAGE HUB! They lost my suitcase full of expensive suits, around $5000 worth and after a long string of emails to try and hunt it down (it looks like one of their warehouse people had stolen it), they proceeded to block me on email.

A terrible experience with Baggage Hub, this is no way to do business!!

So far the service is not good

So far the service is not good. Been trying to sort out my account for weeks now and just keep getting a different person who does not know what the history behind the problem is. They take days to get back to your emails and respond with a solution to your problem. Not recommended at this stage.

Warning DO NOT USE BAGGAGE HUB

Don’t whatever you do use this company. My boxes were in terrible condition with most items smashed to pieces. I had a computer smashed and they refused to acknowledge my emails. I lodged an insurance claim for the computer that I never got money for so basically lost a thousand pound computer. This company took 7 months to get my things from
The UK to Australia and couldn’t care less that most of my items were damaged. I paid for the insurance cover but still wasn’t given money back. Unless you want all your items smashed I suggest you don’t you baggage hub.

Would not recommend service

I have encountered the following issues using baggage hub:

- I had not been clearly advised regarding import charges when crossing the border to the Republic of Ireland and ended up being charged an additional £92 on top of the original cost to get my belongings.

- When the boxes were delivered the were ripped open and falling apart. Clearly they had not been taken care of in transit.

- Finally, on leaving London my bike, barebell and weight plates were in a large bike box. On arrival to delivery destination the bike was delivered wrapped in plastic and the barbell and weights plates have been mis placed. Cost of items missing £200. Before using the service I was reassured several times by staff at baggage hub on phone and via email that the barebell would be fine transported in bike box only to find this clearly wasn’t the case.

Communication is very bad

Communication is very bad. I've called and called for days and can't get through. I've paid a huge amount of money and they're scheduled to pickup my belongings Monday, but despite all my efforts I can't even get insurance. I don't want to move a thing without insurance. I'm so scared what will happen next, this is a horrible feeling, I can't recommend this company to anyone for any reason. Even if my stuff is delivered perfectly at this point, it still won't be enough to change my sentiment. Nothing is worth the anxiety I am feeling due to their neglect. One phone call is all I ask, I never ask for much nor feel entitled. Where did my money go? I feel so abandoned

I’d give them no stars if possible. Worst customer experience of my life. If you value your sanity do not book with this company.

There is no customer service after the point of sale. They won’t contact you in advance of your move, or answer customer calls. Currently they also blame everything on people on furlough. If you can’t service your customers, don’t take the bookings.

A driver arrived today to collect my boxes. Laughed at me when I asked them to help me carry the boxes down and said “that ain’t my job lady”. When I called the sales team (because nobody answers the customer line EVER) I was told they should never have taken my booking because they don’t help with any collections above ground floor. I was told they’d escalate my issue and call back in 30 mins. It’s been 5 hours, 2 emails, me calling them at least 5 times - nothing. I’m due to move out my flat in 2 days. So I arranged someone else.

I expect a full refund, not that I expect to get one as their customer service or even general care factor is non existent.

Also be prepared to pay double the cost of the boxes for import duties. Again no warning or anything.

They pretend they’re a removals company but they are not. At all.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Honestly feel sick at their level of service.
