Jack Giles and Dean Rogers carried out a fantastic job from start to finish. Their professionalism and patience were outstanding and they delivered a great and fair outcome for both parties. In fact, I miss my panicked calls and Jack’s calm voice of reason that made all the difference! Benchmark International is a great company providing a much-needed service and I would have no hesitation to others looking to sell a business.

A Business colleague who had been through a Sale said to me at the start of my own process; “you need an expert to guide you through the pitfalls”. I chose Benchmark for this purpose and was not disappointed! Ananya Sharma and Alex Foreshaw gave excellent support throughout. In addition to helping me to maximise value, there were many issues and options to consider through the process and Benchark guided me through them with clear expectations in writing and most importantly via conversations and discussions.
The Solicitor assigned created some problems along the way and Alex even got involved in resolving those issues.
The Benchmark team remained engaged beyond completion until all transactions were completed to my satisfaction.

Selling a business that you have nurtured through the years, in my case 35 is a whole bag of mixed emotions. Add to the mix buyers, lawyers, accountants and tax deadlines and it becomes a rollercoaster on steroids!
That's where choosing the right partner to market your business and guide you through what is likely to be the only time you will sell a business is essential.
Benchmark under the leadership of Will Sloan and his team were pragmatic, supportive, patient and expert negotiators.
My team were highly skilled at their job, never at any point putting pressure on me to accept anything I was uncomfortable with in order to push through a sale. Instead they were supportive and practical with their advice which undoubtedly contributed to a successful completion.
Having previously and unsuccessfully used another broker, I can, without a shadow of a doubt recommend Benchmark and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. My only regret is I didn't use them in the first place!

Although it took 2 years to find a suitable buyer for our business and to complete the sale, Jack Giles and his team worked with us at all times in a dedicated and proficient way to guide us through the process. This was very evident in the final stages, when we needed the professional experience and advice that Benchmark was able to provide to help us with the Heads of Terms and financial aspects of the final sale price.

To anyone thinking of selling their business, the only way to describe it is imagine a complete stranger rummaging through your underwear drawer, under the sofa, behind the fridge and even in your laundry basket & wheelie bin. Now imagine who you would want telling you it's going to be OK and getting the buyers to understand what they find is amazing. That's Benchmark.
