For Australians- do NOT use this company.
I couldn’t find any Australian specific reviews before I wasted my money so here I am.
online chat (Taylor h) was giving me attitude before booking- that should have been enough to deter me but alas… once you pay you get an ai chat bot and can’t speak to a human being if you have any issues. Really annoying.

In Australia just got to urgent care and save your money- I only used this service as I was travelling the next day and needed online results. STILL NOT WORTH IT because apparently there was an issue and I needed to come back and re test…. which I couldn’t do.
A specific result wasn’t showing up on the online platform and only mysteriously showed up after I emailed and asked why part of what I paid for wasn’t on the online platform. these results were also incorrect and didn’t align with test results I had done at my actual doctor so….make of that what you will.
To be fair, Louise who I was contacting via email was helpful and communication was timely. But all in all this service is most definitely not worth what it costs for Australians with access to public heath care. I paid for the convenience but it’s been anything but convenient :)
would I recommend? NO
would I use them again? NO
did I waste my money? YES

I can see that Louise contacted you directly to explain this further and offered assistance with accessing the information through our secure patient portal. We are pleased to hear that you found her support helpful.

I would also like to clarify that while some areas of our live chat service use AI support for quick queries, we do have trained agents available to provide further assistance, take bookings, and answer more complex enquiries. Our team can also be contacted by phone or email 24/7.

In relation to the differing test results, incubation periods can affect the accuracy of testing. If testing is carried out before the recommended incubation period has passed, there may not yet be enough biological material present for detection. A later test may therefore produce a different result due to the longer incubation period allowing for a more accurate sample.

Great Service From Louise

Louise was truly exceptional in helping me throughout my process of receiving my results. She was very prompt at replying to all of my emails, and worked with me closely throughout the entire process, giving me accurate updates regarding when I should expect results and answering all of my questions. Complete wrong quotations on the…

Complete wrong quotations on the website with insanely inflated prices. Original quote was 4000 HKD (~500 USD) and when I wrote an email to them, they quote me 8000 HKD (1000 USD), and they just say website pricing is corrected.

I checked with several local clinics and hospitals and even they only quoted 800 HKD to 1200 HKD. Fairly sure it's a scam. I would not trust them.

Daylight Robbery

A full well man screening was paid for 290 euros. A blood test and a urine sample was taken. I was told to go home all was finished. No pulse was taken no blood pressure reading and no heart beat listened to. NO DOCTOR WAS PRESENT. This was daylight robbery. The clinic had no booking for me. I had fortunately taken my tablet with confirmation of my appointment. I am 86 have lived in Spain 23 years and have never had such a upsetting, miserable experience.

Very poor service all round.Beware!

Very poor service all round, from start to finish, I had to chase results numerous times and when I did eventually receive them there was very little proper clinical information and inadequate to use by clinicians and doctors, so I had to start again with the NHS service.
Don't waste your money and time on this company.
Support was also only 1 Star and just pumped out the usual company standard responses. Probably AI driven.
Beware as it's your health that is at risk if you use this company.

Waste of time and money. Just go to doctor.

First test came without labels so had collected blood but without label it was useless. They sent another test. The method of pinprick even with three lances it is impossible to get that much blood out. Did best I could sent test and was told the lab needed blood taken intravenously to do test and that it would cost another 40 to get that done. Asked for refund. None given. Waste of time and money I should have just gone to doctor in first place since even if they found anything in test I would still have to go to doctor.

SCAM COMPANY

SCAM COMPANY. Terrible company with false reviews on their site. My home antigen still hasn’t arrive and was “dispatched” on 6th sep 2022, it still hasn’t arrived 19/9/22. I am not back from my holiday. The company will not refund me the cost because I bought a non refundable kit. This shouldn’t matter when the product I ordered NEVER ARRIVED. MAYBE THIS IS THEIR SCAM!!!!

BetterNOT2know?

I paid for a 'standard' 48 hour PCR pre travel screening service. The result took 5 days. Despite several phone calls and emails they refused to expedite the service, apologise or refund their fee, just the usual "due to circumstances beyond our control" blah, blah. I was fortunate enough to obtain a last minute test from a genuine provider at considerable extra cost otherwise my travel plans would have had to be cancelled together with the substantial loss of earnings etc; that would have entailed.

The worst company ever!!!

The worst company ever! Done the test on Monday and received the results on Friday afternoon. So definitely is not a fast service and you easily can stay isolated for at least 4-5 days after arrival.

Reliable and speedy service

I have been so impressed with the service Better2Know offer, such a speedy and reliable organisation. I travel a lot with my job and I am very grateful that I can rely on Better2know every time I fly. I have used them countless times for COVID testing this year.

Unbelievable - DO NOT USE

Unbelievable - this company has blatantly sold me a PCR test for Day 2 testing on arrival back from holiday which didn’t arrive until 5 days after my return. After several emails (ignored) and phone calls where I was hung up on and then cut off when I redialled I was informed I would not be able to get a refund as I had used the PIN number to enter the UK. The test had been dispatched on 3/12/21 even though it was ordered on 23/11/21 but they can offer no explanation as to why it wasn’t dispatched earlier to achieve the Day 2 testing date. The last person I spoke to said he would transfer me to a manager to discuss the situation - only to leave me sitting on the line for 10 minutes. They should definitely be removed from the government listing.

Terrible service, no response to emails. Do not use.

I booked a lateral flow test prior to departure to the US on the 17 November 2021. With the rules having now changed I want to change this to a pcr test. I have emailed better2know three times using the different contact options they offer as to how I can do this and have had no response.

I am due to fly back the UK on the 6 December 2021 and need to get this sorted. Completing all the requirements need to fly during the pandemic is not straightforward and is quite stressful. The lack of response from this company just adds to this. My advice is do not use them.
