Basically a SCAM…

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Better2Know.

Taking my payment of 1,750 PLN was quick and easy, but when a serious problem arose, getting any help was practically impossible. I never received the SMS containing the appointment details that they claim was sent. When I realized I could not access the information I needed, I repeatedly tried to contact their customer service before the appointment. Despite advertising support, nobody answered my calls and I was left waiting without assistance.

As a result, I was unable to attend the appointment. I explained the situation and requested a refund, providing the reasons why I could not access the appointment details. Instead of acknowledging the communication failure and lack of support, Better2Know simply relied on their “non-refundable” policy and refused to take any responsibility.

The impression I was left with is that they have no problem taking your money, but when something goes wrong and a customer genuinely needs help, they are unwilling to find a fair solution. Customer service appears to disappear when you need it most.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using Better2Know to think carefully before paying in advance. If everything goes perfectly, you may be fine. But if you encounter a problem, don’t expect flexibility, understanding, or a refund—even when the circumstances are beyond your control.

Very disappointing experience.

Bad customer service and not clear test results.

I paid almost £300 for an antibiotics allergy blood test. I haven't asked for a consultation as an allergy blood test is either negative or positive according whether the antibodies are in the range or above.

Yet, they sent me test results where the name of the specifically examined antibiotics were cut off, so no way for me to know the full name of the antibiotics they examined, only the first few letters. I could only guess.

No clear result either.
There were 6 grades that the antibody levels could fall into, but there was ZERO explanation of their grading system on the test result.
All my markers fallen into grade 0 but there was no indication on the paper that would let you know whether it means allergic or not to that specific antibiotics.

I feel scammed, as I have a lot of medical experience and I KNOW how to read a test result but they made it complicated with grading without explanation and with no clear: negative or positive, allergic or not wording.

When I contacted them to ask what "grade 0" meant, their reply was:"This is a difficult question, book for a consultation (for a lot of money again) to tell you whether it is positive or not."

Their customer service over the phone was appaling too. The person I talked to hardly could understand my English (other people don't have a problem with it).

I wanted to know more about a pre-operational blood test to see wehter I am allergic to anaesthetics or not. I have sent them a link of their own website about that test as they couldn't find it. They said they could see what I sent, but they didn't know the difference between anaesthetics and antibiotics, so they kept saying to me, that I already purchased the test. I kept saying I did not, as I bought the antibiotics test, not the anaesthetics. Yet, they couldn't comprehend the difference and the fact that I wanted to buy both tests.

I gave up after 20 minutes on the line with only the antibiotics test. Now if I want to know whether their grading 0 means allergic or not, I have to book a consultation.

IF you use this company, bare in mind, that the results could be overcomplicated on purpose, so you HAVE to book a consultation if you want to know the answer. I find it very disappointing.

Good service but very pricey.

Pros:
-Can book same day blood and urine test.

-Can request UKAS-accredited blood and urine test results (depending on where you book).

Cons:
-Super expensive.
-Wrong window period for tests displayed on their website.
-Can take time (but within the turnaround time) for the results to arrive.

I attended a recent appointment…

I attended a recent appointment after providing relevant information in advance. However, this does not appear to have been properly considered, as I was later informed that the procedure could not go ahead.

This raises concerns about the lack of an adequate pre-assessment process before booking patients into appointments. As a result, I attended an appointment that was not suitable in the first place.

Despite the service not being delivered, I was still charged, with only a partial refund issued. In addition, it took approximately three weeks to receive any communication regarding the refund, which further delayed resolution.

Overall, this reflects poor screening and communication, resulting in an avoidable and disappointing experience. I would encourage improvements to the booking and assessment process to prevent similar situations for others.
