My bike was collected without problem then handed to APC to deliver to Northern Ireland when on route someone managed to put what appeared to be forks (from a forklift or pallet truck) through the well padded bike box and shatter the front carbon forks. I had to refund my eBay customer the full purchase price and no Bike Delivery are refusing to pay the £100 free insurance saying that the claim deadline has run out, I was in touch with them the same day the bike arrived at customer address. Horrendous experience, I will never use them again and strongly suggest anyone considering using them thinks again

An unbelievably poor experience from start to finish. TLDR they sub contract APC, just use them instead because these guys are clowns...

The most frustrating part of this experience is that I genuinely struggle to understand what service I actually paid Bike Delivery to provide. When something went wrong, Bike Delivery simply became another layer between me and APC, without providing meaningful assistance in resolving the problem.

I had to repeatedly chase the situation myself, contact APC and the relevant depot, establish where the bike actually was, and push for somebody to take action. At that point, I may as well have booked directly with APC in the first place.

This was made even more absurd when I was told that APC staff had physically scanned the label on my bike box while it was sitting in their warehouse, yet the computer system was still showing that the parcel had “not been picked up”. There was literally a large bike box sitting in front of them that they already scanned, but their not smart enough to figure out that they must have picked it up and they should probably deal with it...

Given the missed collection, the incorrect label, the tracking failure, the failure to deal properly with a parcel physically sitting in the APC depot, the lack of proactive investigation from Bike Delivery, and the several hours I personally spent trying to resolve the situation, I would like you to explain exactly what part of the service you believe Bike Delivery successfully provided.

If Bike Delivery’s role is simply to take the booking and then leave the customer to deal with APC themselves whenever something goes wrong, I struggle to see what value the middleman is actually adding.

My insurance counted for nothing i paid for next day and it took nearly 2 weeks, they ignored every message apart from one... When APC already fixed the issue

They wont give any contact details or answer anything anyway ...

Either their absent or clowns, either way there is no reason to deal with them...

Terrible service.
The courier sent an email that they would pick up the bike between 18:35 and 20:35. I was home almost the entire day anyway but had to walk the dog at some point. Wouldn’t you know it the courier came 3 hours ealier. Bike Delivery told me it was my fault because the time provided by the courier is just an ETA.

Sent bike in my own semi-ridgid bike box as I thought it would be more secure & smaller than a cardboard bike box. However, delivery got withheld until I’d paid a £20 fine for not packing in a cardboard bike box!! Seems crazy.
Used Paisley Freight for return & much more straightforward with no fine.
Both carriers outsource to APC, probably even better to try & go to them direct.

I am not sure about how to review this bunch. They "specialise" in the transport of bikes and yet they use a sub-contractor to do the actual work. In my case the used APC and I understand this relationshio has been going for a while.
Bikedelivery's website says the bike must be in a cardboard box and when approached (by email they don't have a phone number) to ask if a purpose made bike bag or box is acceptable they state rigidly it has to be a cardboard box. Normally cyclists will go to a bike shop and ask for a bike cardboard box however I knew my bike bag was much more secure.
I packed my bike in my bag and booked the delivery. APC collected it with the driver commenting that he wished others were are organised as I was. The delivery was to a repair shop who did the work and then returned the bike using the same bag and package material.

This is when it gets interesting. Bikedelivery emailed me saying the package was "Oversized" and was on-hold pending an extra payment of £20. The email actually referred to a cardboard box not being used rather than my bag being too big. However APC's tracker showed the package was in transit. It was delivered during the allocated timeslot. Nothing extra was paid.

Cowboys and bandits come to mind.

Note that Bikedelivery are actually Paisley Freight wearing a different outfit and carrying six shooters.

APC deserve 5 stars for their service and 10 stars dealing with these guys.

Great price,and easy to book. Great tracking , they use APC as delivery agents. Bike in box collected and delivered 462 miles away in 24hours. OUTSTANDING service and well worth the cost.

Great service, bought a bike off eBay, had all packaging sent to the seller. Packed and all good their end, picked up and delivered the next day.

Awful service, obviously used by companies due to cost but I was expecting a bike to arrive Wednesday it’s now Friday and I’ve been told I need to collect from the depot myself if I want it as it arrived too late due to late pick up for delivery.
I will never use this company myself and I’d specify and future seller to use anyone but this service even if it costs me a little bit more.

I paid 15 days ago for a bike to be collected.
First attempt at collection they went to the wrong address
The address was provided by the seller and the address was correct

Second attempt five days later bear in mind I’ve had no update on the first one.
Second attempt was collected so I was expecting my Bike for the next

Nope

They forgot to put the consignment number on it

Now I don’t normally moan use reasons why I need things in a hurry but I’m doing a sponsored bike ride to Paris Saturday morning it’s now Friday.

If this all seems a little bit less Eugine it shouldn’t be but 15 days ago I had 10 grand worth of Bikes Stolen from my house
So I went on Ebay and bought a bike as close as the one I was using to Rys to Paris

I’ve told him the situation I told them what’s on the line and they can’t even be bothered to deliver it to my home address. Instead they’re delivering it 20 miles away from my house
Originally it was been delivered to my work but no one is here tomorrow Saturday but I arranged for Someone to be here to let me in to collect my Bike. They are now delivering it to a depot no one in my house

Paid £65 and now I have to go and collect the Bike myself

The company is no help no numbers no compassion absolute dog Wallop.

Do not use this company they are literally scammers they have no intention of helping you they don’t care.

And don’t get me started on APC they are even worse. I called the company and Mickey Mouse company and the owner discuss what I said to him with a third-party. Threatened to call the police on me for calling him Names

Oh dear. Didn't turn up on day one of booking. Claimed via email they would collect on day two. Didn't turn up AGAIN. No number to call other than a voicemail box. And now being ghosted.

Unbelievably easy and great customer service when I had to call

Very disappointing experience.

I booked and paid for next day bike delivery, only to be told after collection that the parcel had been measured as oversized and that I had to pay an extra £30 before it would be released. This was after the bike had already been picked up, so I had little choice but to pay if I wanted it delivered without further delay.

What made it more frustrating was that the size issue was only at the front end of the bike box to allow for the handlebars, not that the whole parcel was massively oversized. The surcharge felt excessive, especially on top of the original delivery cost.

Because the parcel was then put on hold, the next day service I paid for was missed. If there are strict size limits and extra charges, these should be made much clearer upfront and ideally dealt with before collection, not afterwards when the customer is backed into a corner.

The bike did arrive, but the whole process felt unfair and poorly handled. I would not use this service again unless the pricing and oversized parcel process were made much more transparent.

They were supposed to be collecting my bike from my home address to deliver to an address in Sussex.Went onto the website and booked it, paid the money, arranged the collection date and received a time-slot of 8am-6pm. After an e-mail asking roughly what time for collection I was told they do not have access to the depot's scheduling! The courier never turned up.The following day I E-mailed explaining the situation and asking when they were now collecting.No response.Three E-mails later still no response.My bike has now been booked with another courier at great expense to me, let alone the inconvenience.Reading the reviews on Trustpilot (I wish I had before) it's very obvious it isn't just my experience! Plenty of other companies dealing in bike delivery, avoid this one at all costs. Terrible service.

Next day collection and next day delivery! Superb company.
Sold something on eBay, arranged delivery with BikeDelivery as it was the cheapest I’d found to ship the bike. They came and collected less than 24 hours of me booking, and was delivered to buyer within 24 hours!
Will definitely be using again if I need to!
