I couldn't imagine having a better cycling insurance than Bikmo. having even a small bicycle accident was not easy and the damage on the bike kept me back from training. I felt comfortable with Bikmo.... Voir plus

Swift response to my claim for my stolen e-bike, and quite a painless process. Though extra details were needed after filling out the claims form, they accepted alternative proof when I couldn't find the original receipt. Remember to keep receipts where you can find them, and take photos!

Insured my road bike before a cycling holiday, should of done this years ago but always assumed it was covered under home insurance so took out independent cycle policy.
Had an unfortunate crash whilst out on a chilled mid week ride, filed a claim after a the bike was assessed, bikmo did EVERYTHING in their power to not accept the claim, delaying everything to the point where at multiple times no one was dealing with my claim, calling multiple times to get an update as left in the dark numerous amount of times.
Absolute poor communication and customer service , they are NOT a bicyle insurance company, just a middle man fronted by a logo with a mainstream insurance company behind them.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND TO AVOID , WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED !!!!

Super easy. Have had my bike insured with them for 3 years. My bike was stolen from my building this month. I logged an insurance claim after reporting to police.
It was a very easy process. The entire insurance claim was approved within a couple of weeks. Once I provided all the details they need.
The rep who was helping was named Jess. Very infromative and helpful.
What is helpful is to keep reciepts.

The service I received was brilliant. After my ebike was stolen the claims process was very quick and easy. Ryan and Steve did a great job sorting it all out and I received the money for a replacement in 3-4 weeks. Many thanks for making a highly stressful situation much easier to deal with.

I’ve unfortunately had to make two recent claims to replace a stolen e-bike battery. On both occasions I’ve received a fantastic service from Bikmo staff. Always extremely helpful and kept me updated throughout the process. Thank you to Ryan and Steve!

Need I say more considering the host of bad reviews on the affiliated companies linked to CrawCo.
I had a bike accident where my own bike was damaged including a personal injury. I thought that my own injuries were minor enough and not worth the claim except for the bike component that would need replacing and so put in a claim through a bike broker "Bikmo".
They processed the claim then chucked this company Crawford to do the loss adjusting. Completely hazardous in terms of approach of questioning, they start off nice and get you to feel comfortable before trying to question you by cornering invalid questions and then decide to quote misrepresentation on weak assumptions to indicate that it goes against policy wording. I duly respond and they then decide to forward the response to the underwriters "Hiscox" who then decide to start a formal complaints process that I never formally authorized for and decided to provide updates on the complaint even though I had not even received the decision of the claim process. Ironic how I receive emails by the underwriter and Crawford 3 minutes apart.
Process taken was completely flawed, and back to front. I had also withdrawn the claim due to them time wasting in which the loss adjuster rejected it. Now they have come back with a complaints final response not withholding a complaint I never complained about.
I rarely give reviews on companies except food chains but this company is a shambles and its review prove this clearly. Do not trust them, if you are unfortunate enough to be subject to liaising with this lot, back yourself with evidence cause they will twist your words and cause you to lose your claim. Now I have a record for no reason except for lack of sound judgment by this lot. Hiscox and Bikmo are not better and in fact worse as they are hiding behind this company to take the slack so their reviews are higher. Trust me, not worth dealing with this company.
My bike was 6 months out of warranty when the seat tube broke. Bikmo quickly decided they would cover the cost of a new frame and reimbursed me for the replacement. Total time without the bike was only about 2 weeks!

The claim handlers were super helpful throughout the process, despite me having moved address and not having receipts for all the bike components, and I received a cash settlement that was the exact value I gave evidence for.

There's no point in wasting your time with this company, it's a scammer. I've made a claim over 45 days ago and they haven't solved my issue and they're asking me a bunch of unrelated questions, so don't waste your time and money, you won't get anything, even if your bike is stolen really. Don't get insured with them.

First of all, when I insured my bike with Bikmo, I found the online process very straightforward and easy. Unfortunately, five weeks later my brand-new bike was stolen. I rang Bikmo and Tom was extremely kind and helpful and he advised me how to make a claim. Steve then followed my claim through with me and again gave me a terrific service. Within a few days, my claim was approved and the funds arrived in my bank account a couple of days later. I am most grateful to Team Bikmo for their excellent and professional service.

Tom and the rest of the team helped me a lot when my handlebars were stolen, really quick and helpful when I had a few questions along the way. My claim was processed in less than a week!

I used to use another company that transferred all their cycle insurance over to Bikmo.
They make it look in their advertising that they are cyclists and so understand what cyclists need. Even though it’s underwritten by Hiscox the policy still only covers sold secure locks (most of which can be cut through in seconds with a grinder as I have found out to my cost in the past). I asked them to check with the underwriters about accepting my Titanium lock (from the USA) no exceptions apparently. Also reading their policy docs, they want to take as big a premium as possible and transfer all the risk to the policy holder…I wouldn’t want to have to claim off them. Their premium was also more than I had been paying for the equivalent bike with a much better company for 15 years previously. As others have said they are a front for a bigger insurance company so beware, they tend to like to weasel out whenever possible.
I trust my locks and my common sense where I lock my bike than Bikmo…I haven’t lost a bike in 6 years which makes this even more disheartening…for 6 years worth of premiums I could buy another bike!

Great experience after my bike was stolen. Tom from Bikmo was very helpful in helping me with and processing my claim. There was a fair bit of back and forth with various pieces of evidence but the whole process was hassle free. Will definitely be taking out another insurance policy with Bikmo again
