Easy process great product

Ordered from here on line as seen product elsewhere much more expensive. Process worked as expected arranged delivery and it all happened seamlessly. Very deep drawers good quality lovely handles. Came in a box so we did have to unpack and dispose.

Scratches on headboard and a chunk of…

Scratches on headboard and a chunk of wood missing. One side had holes in the incorrect place so waiting for replacement.

Appalling delivery service

We experienced appalling service from Berlea. We waited in for the delivery of our item 3 times before it was finally delivered on the 4th attempt!! It took 4 weeks from the initial date! The previous 3 occasions the item had not been put on the van! Communication was not great and I when I rang and messaged them in the morning of the 4th delivery to check the item WAS on the van, I did not get a response. The item was left in the right area of the room but we were not asked if this was in the right place in that area. It was a very heavy item so difficult to move. Managed should have personally made sure the item was in the van.

We completely understand your frustration around the multiple delivery attempts and the delays involved. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we appreciate how inconvenient it must have been to wait in on several occasions only for the item not to be loaded onto the van.

We also apologise for the lack of communication you received when trying to check on the status of your delivery. Our transport team will be looking into this further, as this falls short of the standard we expect and will be addressed internally.

Regarding the placement of the item, we’re sorry that this wasn’t confirmed with you on delivery. We understand how important it is, especially with heavier items, to ensure everything is positioned exactly where you need it.

Beautiful bed

The bed i got is beautiful. It was fairly easy put together. I paired it with a matress from amazon and it is so comfortable.
There were some paint chips on the frame work. I did send a message via b and q but got no response.
Other than that my little girl loves it, and prefers her bed to mine ! .

Very poor service

One of the men didn’t take off his shoes when it was muddy and wet outside. They couldn’t adjust the dressing table they put together, and left me to sort out the non-alignment of the drawer and the door. Even though they agreed it was out of line. The explanation for this was “we only put the furniture together, we don’t get trained for this, we don’t have the right tools on us, you’ll have to ring Furniture Village, they’ll sort it out.” They couldn’t get away quick enough. Very poor service having brought the wrong item in initially as well.

Over the moon with my Oak Double Wardrobe

I purchased an oak wardrobe from Birlea which was delivered 14th April 26. Over the moon with my purchase. No chipboard, good heavy quality oak. Easy to follow instructions and put it together within an hour.
I received notification of the delivery date and time slot of 1 hour, which was excellent. Great communications.
Delivery was on time and early. Delivery guys very helpful and professional.
So pleased with my purchase I am going to buy more furniture from Birlea soon.

Fab communication, tracking & delivery!

Bought the Stockwell Wardrobe and drawers. Can't comment on these yet as only just delivered and not opened yet. However, the two young delivery guys were great and very polite. All communication from the company was fab and the tracking info brilliant! Would recommend.

Poor description

This product does not hold a 55inch tv as stated on product information. It took 2 people 3 hours to build, following instructions, to then discover out tv doesn’t fit. The instructions are poorly directed. As a result we couldn’t put the door on. This was due to not being able to be a contortionist and fix the door fitting on the inside of the unit.
Wouldn’t recommend this product.

Terrible customer service

I am more than disappointed with the service I received from this company. What should have been a straightforward job turned into a costly and frustrating experience.They have completely ruined my brand new carpet through careless handling and obvious negligence
The carpet was in perfect condition and is now damaged far beyond repair from dog poo stains (DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY )

Fantastic Delivery

Bed was delivered this morning as planned. Delivery driver was Fantastic - called me before delivery to let me know he is in the area. very friendly and chatty, asked what room I would the Bed to be in & carried it himself (double pine solid bed). He Ensured I was happy with the bed before signing.

Only problem was missing instructions and screws - waiting on response from supplier.
