Our house move was made all the more easier with Bishops Move. We could not have been happier with Eric and the team. They were so helpful and polite. We highly recommend Bishops Move.

Everyone at Bishops Move, especially Robert and Sharad took the time and trouble to fully understand our needs and have given excellent support as we approach our moving date.

We can't thank BM enough for a great service from having the first contact with the surveyor Stuart Foreman to our very own Move Coordinator Sharad Chudasama who has been amazing and patient throughout. Having had to go to and fro a number of times checking availability. But nothing was too much trouble which made things easier for us in our 60s and not moved in 25 years. So a big thank you.

We used Bishop's Move, only to have our move outsourced to a 3rd party provider who did not provide a quality service, turned up late, with fewer vans and movers than what was required. Needless to say our move was super stressful, full of issues and we will not be recommending Bishop's to anyone at all.

Stand downs, if they have no work you have to pay back the hours in overtime, so it's like haveing a zero hour contract, long hours without getting paid because of the amount of stand downs you have to pay back.

Great experience throughout the process from initial contact, to quoting and the teams that picked up and dropped off. Great process and great communication.

The move, taking place over two days was far less stressful than I expected thanks to the teams who did a superb job, packing everything carefully, wrapping items that needed careful handling and making sure that the boxes were labelled accordingly. Totally impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail.

They completed packing, furniture removal and were on the road on day two well before midday. They arrived on the Kent coast, unloaded and had left by early afternoon, having negotiated their way up the stairs to my new first floor home carrying furniture and numerous boxes with such care, not a mark was left on and floor, wall or door.

First class result with one extremely satisfied and very happy customer.

Graham and Dwayne were a superb team. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped in so many different ways to minimise the pain and grief of moving house.

Michelle who did the initial survey and quote was brilliant and communicated really well and kept in touch throughout the process. On the day all the removals team were fantastic. They worked so hard and looked after our things really well. I don't know how they kept going all day. They worked well as a team and were really polite and jovial and made the move so much more enjoyable and stress free. We are really happy with the service you provided. Thank you to all the team!

Great advice and great service. This is the third time we have used Bishops Move and each time they have done exactly what we wanted. Would use again and again!

Bishops Move added to our moving stress

We conducted Bishops move about 6 weeks prior to our move and they said everything was fine, we are now two weeks and moving with Bishops Move now saying they cant move us. They have added to the stresses of moving house and would not recommend them if you are planning to move

Reached out via the website, explained we didn’t know our exact removal dates, we have a large 3 bed semi detached house we are moving from with lots of stuff.

We would have required packing, disassembled furniture, moving and reassembly of furniture as well as insurance.

I’m sure this would of been a pretty penny and that’s a okay, I asked if with the approximate quote I could start making payments towards it monthly to hammer down the bill a bit before the move date and before final payment is due before the move.

To be told

“Unfortunately, we do not offer monthly payment options.”

“we at Bishops move only take single payments and which is due 14 days before start of the move.”

Again, not understanding, it was going to be full payment BEFORE the move, but making payments towards it before the move would of been preferable

Keith and Reece have just moved my mum from a four bed detached house to a one bed flat over two days. They were friendly, hard working and nothing was too much trouble. From carefully packing, labelling boxes, transporting, relocating and removing excess furniture which just wouldn’t fit in the new flat. They were smiling, happy and so patient with all our indecision. I would highly recommend.

From start to finish, the team worked with enthusiasm, engagement and great teamwork. Despite the fact that they had to shuttle to the main van due restricted access, they packed and cleared the house and garage in 3 days (it’s a big house!). The arrived early at the new house, collected the keys on completion, so our main living space was pretty much done when we arrived. and were done by lunchtime on the second day.
Forget the caricature of regular tea breaks; though offered and sometimes made, they rarely stopped for a break. Hugely impressed and would use again in a heartbeat.

This is the second time we have used Bishops Move, and again their service has exceeded expectation. Graeme and Dwaine from the Exeter branch helped us with an 80 mile relocation, which was confirmed at short notice. Communication was clear from the start and everything went according to the move plan put in place. The men arrived on time, put down floor coverings, loaded all of our furniture with care and efficiency, leaving us with beds and a sofa/TV overnight, then moved us into our new house the following day as soon as our keys were released. They even popped by to pick up our empty boxes. We can't recommend enough! Thank you again!

The best at what they do. No fuss, no panic the 3 guys ( Keith, George and Sean) that came to do our move just got on with the job quickly and efficiently . They were very respectful of our possessions and left everything tidy. Would definitely recommend using if you are moving and we would definitely use again.

We used Bishop's Move Exeter for a 4 day move from East Devon to Surrey. We got prices from several big name removals companies and Bishop's Move were the most competitively priced.
The service from start to finish was exceptional. We have previously moved on many occassions and have never had such a professional, friendly and capable team . The team took all the stress out of one of the most challenging parts of moving house.
