Many good brand/popular products on the website are sold out, so I had to choose other brands/products instead, which I’m not very happy with.

DHL ruined my order by delivering it…

DHL ruined my order by delivering it late. Bonvila promised for a redelivery. Nothing happened for weeks? No replies to my update requests. Absolute shambles. Will prefer ordering from Robinfoods next time. Don’t make promises if you can’t keep up with them.

The box arrived the day later then what…

The box arrived the day later than what originally promised informed.
There was a fresh hand made food inside (gozleme) and unfortunately that caused stomach upset.
Not sure this was due to late delivery issue or food freshness but did not have a happy ending.

Not a satisfactory experience

Sent by dhl instead of door to door in person delivery (to the centre of London). Because of that the vegetables were not arrived freshly. Yufka- fresh pastries were also not fresh enough. Not a satisfactory experience.

I bought couple things for handmade…

I bought couple things for handmade they were NOT fresh at all’ Sarma was very savoury couldn’t even eat . Gozleme cheese one terrible potato average very disappointed

Used to be great but now very poor

Very poor stock control - several products not delivered as out of stock - despite what the website said. Tin of white cheese was badly damaged in transit and a 150g pack of a different feta was sent instead of the 400g pack which I ordered and paid for. Still awaiting a response from customer service. Very sadly this company have lost the plot. Will shop elsewhere in future.

The products got very expensive since…

The products got very expensive since last year. For example, I noticed around 70% increase in white cheese. More over, Seems like there are less pastry options available. We ordered Gozleme last time and the quality was mediocre.

Missed delivery and terrible customer service

Their delivery service DHL pretended that we refused delivery on Friday and pushed delivery to Monday with many perishable items. We contacted bonvila through their WhatsApp and no one responded. This used to be a great service sadly deterioating with many items out of stock

Some good some bad

Selection is great, food quality is good but the delivery turned up in bad shape.
The baklava was all broken, all in bits and was smashed everywhere all over the box.
The Kofte (lamb) was smelling maybe because it wasnt in the fridge and the weather is warm, the Icli kofte were all broken.
The simit was at the bottom of the box and all flat.
Manta was nice, lahmacun was nice, all the ayran and pepper paste etc were great.

Avoid

Used to be their customer for long. Never again. Rotten fruit, items to be kept cold or frozen arrived warm.
No response from customer service.
