I can't even accept the most recent delivery so it's like setting fire to £100. So upset.
The food was ok, but I will be returning to Simmer without question.

Fantastic customer service and brilliant food. I move between working locations on a random schedule and Bozu keep up with me to make sure I get the meals I want, where I want them.

I've tried quite a few meal prep companies over the years, and Bozu is by far the best one I've come across. The biggest thing for me is the taste, the food genuinely has so much flavour and never feels like typical "meal prep" food. Every meal actually feels enjoyable to eat rather than something you're forcing yourself to have just because it's healthy.
The variety on the menu is also amazing. Every time they update the menu, I end up finding a new favourite, which keeps things exciting and stops it from becoming repetitive. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the flavours and the options they create.
Their customer service also deserves a mention. Any time I've had a question or needed help, they've been really responsive, helpful and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better.
Out of all the meal prep companies I've tried, Bozu is the one I'd confidently recommend to anyone. Great quality, amazing flavours, excellent service, delivery always on time and a menu that never gets boring.

Similar terrible experience to other reviews listed. I was unable to cancel my subscription as it was hidden/greyed out. I emailed them to inform them I didn’t want their service; they took 4 days to respond and continued sending deliveries. When I complained about this they resorted to emotional blackmail attempts stating they are a family business, then when that didn’t work threatened me with debt collectors, despite being in an active dispute (the FCA will find that interesting). I have reported to trading standards.

Update from my previous review:
Having refused my refund request, I had expected to receive a delivery from Bozu, on Sunday 26th April, as per their terms and conditions. I did not receive any products and had no communication from Bozu to explain why that was. After 4 days of waiting to hear something, I contacted the company myself. I was told that they did not send the delivery because I had left a negative review here. They again refused my request for a refund and said they were only prepared to send me the products I’d paid for if I took down my review. Naturally I won’t be removing the review, not least as this most recent behaviour only adds to my concerns about the quality of their service.
Update 5th May 2026:
I had further correspondence with the company to confirm that I would not be removing the review and to request a refund. They continued to refuse but did say they would arrange for products to be delivered the following Monday. Needless to say, it’s Tuesday today and I didn’t receive any products on Monday. I’ve spoken with citizens advice and they have referred on to trading standards due to the company not honouring the 14 day cooling off period and because they are in breach of contract for not sending the products they’ve charged me for.
I’m not sure if the company is intentionally scamming people or if the guy in charge just isn’t very bright (I’ve seen his instagram and I’m thinking it’s the latter, but who knows?). Anyway, it’s been a whole lot of hassle and I STRONGLY advise anyone considering a purchase from Bozu to look elsewhere!

I am deeply disappointed with Bozu’s business model. They advertise a 'Cancel Anytime' policy, but in reality, they block the cancellation button on the dashboard, forcing customers into unwanted payments.
Worse still, when I contacted their support to exercise my consumer rights, they resorted to aggressive intimidation, threatening a County Court Judgment (CCJ) over a simple subscription dispute. This is a predatory tactic designed to scare people into paying.
I have officially reported this matter to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards (I have a formal Case Reference for this). My bank is also notified. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company if they value transparency and respectful customer service.

Worst experience with a company, communication is poor, problems with ordering system, cancelled my subscription and they charge and do an order after I’ve cancelled a week later?! I would avoid as too much of a headache.

This is the absolute worst meal prep company probably of all time. Decent jerk chicken but the customer service is genuinely horrific they absolutely stink at responding to simple emails. Do not buy from them; choose another meal prep company.

The food is fresh and very tasty. Would give 5 star if the user journey was better. The website is poor and ordering system lacking clarity. Luckily they have an efficient chat feature at least to answer any of the many questions that arise due to their system not being great. Been on two weeks and the food is really superior to other prep companies, just hoping for a new menu for next order and some improvements to user journey. (Such a shame because of food quality being so high)

I am following a keto diet plan and these meals are just what I have been searching for, delicious good portion size, the macros are all worked out for me, I am thoroughly enjoying the flavoursome food, fresh and healthy.
The support is fantastic and they were very helpful with my questions,I highly recommend this company.

Terrible customer service and threats of taking me to court + extra charges over wanting a refund for a £60 order I never received!
Food wasn’t good and overpriced for what it is don’t think I actually finished a single meal. I just wanted to try it out didn’t realize I was signing up to a contract as it’s all in the small print under your purchase which is misleading. In my opinion it should be on option to have the order as a repeat purchase rather than just forced on you in a sneaky manner.
After trying to cancel the subscription through email, the customer help line and ultimately my bank they replied with multiple emails threatening extra charges and county court judgement if I don’t revoke my dispute with the bank.
They then also stated I have received the second order (which I never did) even though I had tried to cancel long before it was due to be shipped and they wouldn’t let me. they never sent any emails saying the order has been shipped or received like they did the first time. I feel as though this is their way of trying to get back at me for trying to cancel the subscription.
You’d think that they would be helpful in order to maintain good reviews for their site, if they put as much effort into helping you on their own site as they do with the replies to trust pilot reviews they would have a lot more satisfied customers.
Edit: I’d rather not revert thanks I’ll open another dispute for goods not received cheers

Been with Bozu for a good while now and they are perfect in every way! You will not find a better meal prep thank these guys!!
I’ve been with a lot of meal prep companies and this one is pushing way above anyone else! You won’t crave any junk food when your on these as they make fast food taste disgusting compared to them.
The food is delivered on time every time, packed perfectly and ready for you when your on these go!
Thanks to all the fab chefs and Jordan the main man for getting things sorted and is always one message away on WhatsApp!! Which is ideal in the modern world!

This is a company that values it's customer's experience to the point that the owner of the business took made contact to get to the bottom of the situation and come to a resolution.
Starting my subscription with this company just over 3 weeks ago, there were a couple of "teething issues" that when totted up did cause some frustration. However I found them easy to contact, extremely responsive and genuine in their approach.
The product itself is of a high standard. If you use this company and run into any issues, I would urge you to reach out to them. They will find a way to make it right.
