We ordered 2 bags of multipurpose concrete on the website which went through no problem. At 7.30am on the morning we were going to collect the bags the store rang when we were still asleep in bed to say the bags were rock hard. We then ordered from another store again click n collect. This store had several bags in stock according to their website but when we arrived at the store which was not local to us. We were told they had no bags in stock and weren’t the least bit apologetic! Terrible customer service and both the stores Redruth and Helston are still showing they have bags in stock!

I ordered a bag of premix concrete from the website, had the email saying the order would be ready in 2hrs. When I got there they said they didn’t have my order as it was out of stock. One of the employees was at least apologetic but the other couldn’t care less that I’d travelled a 25mile round trip for nothing. Not good enough Bradfords!

We bought decking, very happy with the quality and the delivery service.

Was told not interested in retail sales, so delivery offered was far too long. Cancelled order.

Having been confined to the house during pandemic I need to update my garden patio area, as my late husband spoke highly of Bradfords Company so I went online to order materials, I found the whole process very easy and the small amount I required available following a phone conversation with a helpful person 😀 THANK YOU

I placed my order through click and collect, phoned later to check my order was ready your collection, was told it was and to come in any time. When I arrived I queued, the girl on the til struggled to find the paperwork and then told me to go and find someone in the forecourt, no one was there, I went back in and queued, she wasn’t too happy about going out to find it herself. My order was not ready for collection, I had ordered a length of window board and was then abruptly told that this store didn’t offer a cutting h service, but they would do it for me, which they clearly weren’t happy about. I asked why I could order this item if it was not available, she argued back at me and walked off, she returned and I took the piece of timber off her. I’m pregnant and wanted to just be able to collect my order with minimal contact and waiting, I was there for at least 20 minutes. When I got home I noticed that the timber was badly split so rang the store and happens to speak with the manager who was equally argumentative about the cutting service not being provided at that store and that I should have read the small print. I was not aware that this item needed cutting as it stated it was available in specific lengths at this store, quantity in stock was over 100. I’ve been renovating houses for over 6 years, this service was the worst I’ve experienced. This service is not click and collect, i May as well have ordered over the counter. Won’t be returning ever again!

Friendly people at local branch. Delivered earlier than they had expected to. Very pleased.

I ordered decking panels and bags of slate chippings online, and was rung up promptly by our local branch and given a date for delivery today. When the driver arrived, he couldn't have been more helpful, and carried the order into our garage for us. I am so grateful because my husband is wheelchair bound, and we have no workman here yet to carry out our decking replacement. I will definitely use this great, local branch in future 😊

Placed an online order for several products, one item was not available for 10days. I received a telephone call straightaway with options. Great service

Very poor service ordered postcrete on Sunday, had a call Friday morning ( delivery day) to say none in stock.

Purchase was delivered very professionally and left exactly where we wanted it

Been doing my own self build extension for a few months now. I use Bradfords as they have a solid reputation in the south west. Going into a branch is a bit weird, but then all builders merchants seem to do the same thing of pointing you into the yard to get a blue ticket to take back to the office. I guess it's a format that works? it's just a bit strange.
Anyway, I place most of my orders online and that goes without a hitch. Dealing with the office is easy, delivery drivers are superb, really helpful.
I'd recommend Bradfords for building supplies. Plenty of locations down here in west cornwall and pricing competitive.
