Although it wasn’t the breathing otter I purchased, it was a humidifier from this company. Arrived and would t turn on. Completely faulty. Felt so cheap it didn’t surprise me. Asked for a refund and the company will not cover shipping, back to China. So not only did they send a faulty, non functioning item, I will be out of pocket as responsible to pay for shipping as well?

Worst customer service. DONT BUY FROM THEM

I bought a parasite cleanse recently and discovered this morning I’ve been conned into a monthly subscription I wasn’t aware of. I placed the order in good faith and The Breathing Otter to my disappointment I’ve found are underhanded and unscrupulous.
Apparently they’re available to provide assistance regarding subscription cancellations for a charge of £9.99. So still making money from departing, disillusioned customers. Such a rip off and clearly in place to obtain any last payments possible from online shoppers who’ve made an error in judgement. If they don’t do the right thing and cancel my subscription I’ll be faced with cancelling my card and subsequently updating all my payment details which is an inconvenience to say the least. Not happy and absolutely would not recommend anyone buy from this company.

Terrible company. Pretends to be in the Uk when its a drop ship dump.
Item arrived in a bag stashed an damaged!! For a two weeks plus wait for someone I thought I was buying from a legit uk business is disgusting. Nearly £20. I expect this kind of nonsense on eBay even Etsy but an actual place pretending to be a Uk shop. This should be illegal.

DO NOT BUY. I purchased two of these both for birthday gifts - which I have been left with sat in storage as neither work and are poor quality. I would not give these to a baby or toddler. Bulky hard plastic in flimsy fabric. Both items don't even work. Customer service ignore my requests for a return which is my consumer rights and instead keep asking for a video which cannot be uploaded to send as an email.
No contact number for the company.

I tried to cancel my order within an hour of purchase but was ignored for days. A cheap and flimsy toy has turned up. No tags or labels, in cheap plastic wrap.
Absolutely disgusting.

I ordered a Koala from My Breathing Otter for my granddaughter. It’s a very poor product. The stitches on the Velcro covering the battery at the back hadn’t been stitched onto the fabric leaving a gaping hole.
There are only 3 functions, breathing without a light on , breathing with a light on and a tinny tune. The battery mechanism can be heard all the time.
Do not buy this. It’s too bad to give as a present.
If you want a good breathing Koala buy the Fisher Price one.

Late delivery and very poor quality duck. I have asked for an address to return the product, but I have been told to wait while the matter is discussed. I shall not waste anymore time with these people, but I wish I had known when I placed my order that they are based in China and I would have avoided them at all costs.

The WORST DO NOR OURCHASE FRIM THIS CO. They front a USA address but product is from China poor quality looks nothing like the video on the website and the sound of breathing sounds so creepy nobody would fall asleep to that creepy breathing sound let alone leave it in the room with your child I bought 2 as Christmas gifts never arrived in time took a month I had to dispute the charge with my bank

Wish I'd read the reviews. This is not a UK business despite Uk being splattered everywhere. Cheap substandard products being sent from China. My advice - go to Smyths and buy the proper FisherPrice version which will arrive in a few days with appropriate instructions and a quality product.

I ordered a Rabbit and Koala toy for my two Nieces (5 and 7 years old) from the website breathing otter co.uk, believing it was a UK company but discovered when I looked at the tracking that it was being sent from China!
When the toys arrived I was disappointed with the quality as you could feel the voice and battery boxes as soon as you picked them up (The Rabbit wasn't too bad but the Koala was)
I e mailed the company saying I wasn't happy and wanted a refund but as it was so near to Xmas I decided to give them to my Nieces anyway who both loved them and did not mention feeling the boxes inside.
After Christmas I got a reply to my e mail saying I could return them but the return address was in California!
I would say be aware that they are coming from China and that you can feel the voice boxes inside, other than that I have no complaints.

Ordered on 8th Dec 2025 still waiting delivery , the lady it said was 21st Dec with relay out for delivery then delayed

Terrible customer service

The product finally arrived squashed into a bag with no other instructions or nice packaging. The sound of breathing is horrendous and so fast that it would induce a panic attack rather than help soothe. The buttons on one foot do absolutely nothing and the other scrolls through horrible music, bright light and weird breathing noises. Do not buy.
Back to the drawing board with Xmas present.
Gutted with myself for not researching more.

I just wish I had checked this company on trust pilot before I ordered from them ! As it appears most people have the same issues.
The Breathing otter uk site leads you to beleive that the goods are sent from the uk, that's if you receive them, I have been waiting 9 days for it to arrive and have now lost hope ! I have tried to contact them by email but have not received a reply back from them, I have contacted Yodal with the delivery tracking code as it looks like the parcel is with Yodal when I checked online but Yodal said its not with them ? So at this moment I can't even be sure that it's in postal transit !
Breathing otter has so many negative reviews I would advise anyone who's thinking of making a purchase to definitely not and avoid like the plague.

Fake website, fake delivery which dissappeared after 1 week in transit and no reply from breathing otter.
Sites like Google that direct you there should carry some responsibility.

They actually deserve no stars, why I didn’t check trust pilot before I purchased I do not know!! I am normally vigilant… they have a UK address which is obviously a front! The item arrived , it was laughable at how different to the image it was, and the poor quality materials used, there is no way I would use the rechargeable batteries provided. Fire hazard for sure. Appalling !!!

Would give one star if i could. Scam. Product never arrived. Do not buy.

Ordered 2 of the Stitch+Friends breathing toys, from what I thought was a UK company, and my first concern was when I used the Tracking provided I could see the toys were coming from China not the Uk.
Second concern was how cheaply they were wrapped - both in a cellophane bag and a slightly padded mailing envelope.
Third concern was how noisy these “soothing” toys were. At this point I emailed the company, via my order confirmation email, asking for a refund and a returns label so that I could send them back as I thought they may have been “knock-offs” and perhaps not safe to use with a young child.
My fourth concern, which really set off alarm bells, was the fact that neither toy had a CE label - in fact, no labels at all.
At this point (Tuesday 25/11/25) I emailed again asking them to contact me by the 27th or I would contact my bank and the Trading Standards office. I also emailed them directly from the “contact us” link on their web page (no contact phone number - concern number five).
On the evening of the 25th Nov I received an email saying they were sorry I wasn’t happy with the product and had issued a full refund.
This morning I received an email via my SHOP app letting me know I’d received a refund and it could take up to 10 days to show in my bank.
Not showing yet but fingers crossed it will soon.
I wish I’d checked Trustpilot before ordering but the web page looks really convincing with lots of 4 and 5 star reviews.

Awful awful awful. Annoyed at myself for being fooled. Very poor quality product. Want me to send the product to America for a refund. Even though the sending address is in the UK. Don’t spend your hard earned money here!
