Speedy service, done to an excellent standard
My boiler failed just before Easter, and they were able to on a public holiday do a thorough assessment of my boiler. Unfortunately it was in need of replacement. Knowing that I had no hot water, they prioritised my job and within one working day the installation team were on site and completed a full conversion/replacement to combi boiler. The work was done well, it was done fast and the price was competitive. Absolute life savers, would recommend!

Capping off a gas cooker
Mark carried out the work efficiently and professionally. Also he advised what I needed by way of new electrics in order to fit a new electric oven. A written quote for this work was received the next day which was again highly efficient. Would definitely use again.

I've used Safe Gas quite a few times
I've used Safe Gas quite a few times: replacing/moving radiators, boiler service and repairs. They have always been easy to work with from booking in, upfront with costs and the engineers turn up when they say they will and the work gets done quickly. What's not to like?

Worcester Boiler replacement
George and Mick did a first class job replacing my 10 year old Worcester boiler today....they were professional,very clean and tidy and finished on time.
Really happy with my new boiler...would never use any other company.

New combi boiler, radiator values and shower pump removal
I cannot recommend the Safe Gas team more. They came out the same day I contacted them to assess my ridiculously old and clunky boiler. Unsurprisingly it needed replacing, so the team installed a new combi boiler, removed the old hot water tank, removed the shower pump (as the new boiler would do that work instead) and replaced some of my super old radiator valves. I now have instant hot water and an efficient heating system! The engineers were speedy, polite, informative and tidy and the office staff were very friendly, prompt and organised. I had a little extra bit of plumbing that needed doing subsequent to this boiler job, and they were able to come out the following day to do that. If you're looking for a local plumber, these guys are amazing.

Shockingly poor service - Avoid
We contacted Safe Gas to inspect our Baxi combi-boiler as it was not pressurising correctly. Mark at Safe Gas advised that the problem was a broken fan, which we then paid to be replaced and installed. We were told at the time that the boiler was now fixed, appropriate tests had been made and it was now working correctly. However since this time the boiler has still not pressurised properly, recording low and high pressure error readings causing the system to shut down intermittently. This happened again on the day of our wedding, leaving my fiancee without hot water or heating on the morning before the ceremony. Upon calling Mark to explain the situation, he was arrogant and dismissive, seemingly unable to accept any responsibility for not diagnosing the fault correctly in the first place. His response was that it must have been some other issue with the boiler, so therefore not his problem- failing to realise that the original problem with the boiler had not been recitified. Safe Gas refused to correct the problem without charging us again for a call-out fee. In summary the service we have received from this company is appalling - they have zero accountability. We would advise anyone against using Safe Gas, the combination of poor technical diagnosis, zero aftercare and dreadful customer service has caused us considerable distress and inconvenience.

This is not a true representation of what happen.
Mark the owner of the company attended a fault code E1 -60 which is faulty fan. The boiler can not possibly ignite without a working fan, this needed to be replaced.
The boiler electrical checks were then completed to confirm the constant fault code E1-60 was correct.
The fan was quoted and installed a few days later.
On completion of the fan being replaced and inline with Gas regulations 26.9 all relevant checks required to leave the boiler working were completed.
The working boiler was handed over to the client and the hot water reinstated for the lady who said she was living there.
You have stated that we have missed diagnosed the fault. If that was the case, surely you would have complained the next day as you would have had no heating or hot water. You didn't contact us at all over the Christmas period or the very cold spell we had in January.
2 months later after no complaints you call saying the boiler has a new fault code E1-19, which indicates low pressure but the boiler still works when you top it back up.
We offered to visit to diagnose the fault, which is chargeable as this is not connected to the fan repair we carried out. A fan does not cause the boiler to loose pressure.
The fan is working correctly and that’s the repair we completed.
Safe Gas are being blamed for something that is just not true.
