The products are good but the delivery for online orders is a hit and miss. I placed two orders and both had issues with deliveries. The drivers just dont seem to have a care in the world of whether... Voir plus
Bought timber with 10%excess for any defects, splintering warping etc. Didn't need the 10%, everything was perfect. Delivered on time with friendly, helpful driver.
1st time using this company, was a breeze!! Order online and was ready for pick up. Let them know you've arrived and staff brings your item to the car park!!! They definitely need to open more branche... Voir plus

Don’t pay extra for specific delivery dates - they won’t meet them.
I paid extra for a specific delivery day. The delivery via Palletways didn’t arrive and despite chasing and false promises, lies about attempted deliveries and update calls it arrived 3 days late with the Palletways driver telling us that they were days behind their schedules. I asked Builder Depot to refund the additional amount I’d paid for an urgent service I simply didn’t get. Their customer service could only answer my question about why they took money off customers knowing they wouldn’t deliver by telling me it was a good point. They’ve totally ignored my delivery refund request. I only purchased the products I needed based on the delivery date. I would have been far better off going somewhere else which would have been cheaper and more reliable.

Poor Customer Service, No Apology, No GWG - Would Not Recommend
I’m very disappointed with my experience with this company.
I contacted them after waiting several days for an order that had not been delivered within the expected timeframe. During the call, I was informed that the item had been 'damaged in transit' and as a result, had not been delivered. I requested a refund, which was agreed to and processed without issue.
A few weeks later, I received a call stating that the item had apparently been delivered. This was extremely surprising, as the reason I had originally contacted the company was because I had not received the item AND I had specifically been told that it had been damaged in transit. The refund had also been processed on that basis.
Unfortunately, what I found most disappointing was the tone of the subsequent conversation, which felt unnecessarily accusatory. I had followed the information provided to me by the company and had been completely transparent about the fact that the order had not arrived.
What initially seemed like a straightforward delivery issue that had been resolved satisfactorily ultimately became a very negative customer experience. While I was already disappointed that the item had not arrived due to the reported damage, the way the situation was subsequently handled left me feeling very uncomfortable and frustrated.
Based on this experience, I would not use this company again. I believe customer service should focus on resolving issues professionally and respectfully, particularly when the customer has acted entirely based on the information provided.

We were subsequently advised that the goods had in fact been delivered after the refund had been issued, which is why our team contacted you to arrange collection of the items.

While we’re sorry that you felt uncomfortable during the call, our review found that the conversation remained polite and professional, and the purpose of the contact was simply to arrange the return of goods that had been delivered following the refund.
