The doors look good quality at a good price combined with excellent delivery. Shipping was a bit high, but was fast delivered fast.

I was looking for white glazed internal doors and Buildworld had a number of options and I saw what I was looking for at a good price.
Ordering on their website was simple
They kept me updated with the order and their nominated carrier advised me the approximate delivery time the day before and on the morning of the delivery.
Very pleased with the doors. They are of good quality and surprisingly heavy. Hang with three hinges!
I would definitely use Buildworld again.

Very disappointed to firstly be misled stating they had a specific door in stock, once paid the next day I received a message to say it will be in stock in approximately 6 days and will arrange shipping once they have it. This cost me money and time having planned a job around their stated availability. A week on I am still awaiting a refund yet onf3 again receive contradicting info daily. 6th Dec refund processed. 7th Dec not yet professed. 8th Dec was processed on 6th , 9th Dec was processed today.

Ordered 6 doors, 1 was damaged on delivery.
Called to explain and they said they would send a replacement and collect the damaged door, great.
Unfortunately our lads didn't realise and put the damaged door in the wood skip, so we couldn't return it when the new door was delivered.
We fully expected to be charged for the replacement, we had no issue with that - but what we received was an abrupt email saying that they were out of pocket and that we owed them for the cost of the replacement... totally agree. However on the same email they said if we didn't pay within 10 days they would seek a Count Court Judgment (CCJ). But never gave a payment reference or details of how to pay? So to be clear, they were threatening CCJ action BEFORE giving us payment details for the amount they wanted to charge us. Very aggressive, totally unacceptable, especially as we'd never once said we weren't going to pay - but to be fair a CCJ wouldn't have been granted anyway.
3 days later we received an email with the order reference and PAYMENT DETAILS - so guess what? we paid them!!
Lesson is, they threaten CCJ action at the drop of a hat, even before they give an opportunity to pay!!
So be careful, they like to try and intimidate customers!
We order around 20 solid oak doors per week, business they could have had - their loss!!

Ordered 6 doors on August 5th. At no point did the website say 'Due to X weeks' or during the ordering process give an indication of a delay / delivery timescale. Based on this, I made the incorrect assumption that they were in stock and ready to be delivered.

Once ordered, I received notification that bar damage if I wanted to return the doors, I would have to pay 40% of the price paid. On top of this, 2 weeks later I have no information on when I can expect these doors. Complete lack of communication bar 'expected mid-august' when asked the day after I placed the order. Since then no updates or communication.

If you want to order something but have no idea of when you will expect them, please use Buildworld. If however, you would like to know when you can expect your items and have some customer service, do not use this company !!

If I could give 0 stars I would!! your company is a scam! I demand an IMMEDIATE refund, Money for an item that doesn't exist was taken from my account IMMEDIATELY! I ordered doors from the website, first after a phone call I made, I heard from customer service that I can expect delivery to LONDON, in 4 months!!!! 4 months!!!! SCAMMERS!!!

The internal door arrived in perfect condition but due to my inaccurate measurements did not fit ! ... Seerat was extremely understanding and arranged for the courier collection. Very much appreciated.

I bought four glazed oak internal doors from Build World. The prices are very competitive and I am happy with the quality. The doors arrived in time and were very well protected and packed. The Company kept me fully informed at all times.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend Build World.

Website shows stock of materials, you continue to purchase, only to be informed after purchase that there is a long delay for materials. Ordered in oct advised of some doors due in mid November, remaining in January. No communication of expected deliveries and when chased at end of November informed that due in early Jan. chased in January and 4 of the doors were available for delivery so took delivery on the basis that the other two were due shortly. Chase the remaining two doors end of January to be informed that now not due till March.

Company trying to take no responsibility for deliveries, blame supplier and threaten that you can’t send received goods back because supplier won’t take them back. We purchased the doors from you not the supplier!!!

Joke of a company taking your money for goods that can’t be guaranteed when available. Poor customer service with no one on the phone willing to deal with it.

Website does not allow removal of an unwanted order.
Website memorises Paypal details without permission, and does not allow change to a different account.
Very difficult to trust.

07.12.2023 Trustpilot asked for more details' so here they are:
I placed an order, and went to pay for it with Paypal. Before completing I found it was the wrong Paypal account (currency) and tried to change it to the correct one, but the website would not allow the change or to remove the details. I tried to delete the order and there was no way to do so. I closed out of it and started again and found the Paypal details were still memorised and not possible to edit or remove. Then found the first and second order attempts had been saved as separate orders with no way to delete them.
Had to phone them, and the first order was reluctantly removed after initially saying I'd have to email, but then was told I'd have to email about removing the Paypal details - which shouldn't have been retained anyway.
Almost 24 hours later I received an email asking if I wanted the remaining order deleted, no reference to the Paypal details being retained.
I then found it was now made possible to update the Paypal account and placed the order. Then I received another email asking if I wanted to change the delivery address.
Not a good experience.

Over 3 weeks since I placed my order for paint and I still have not received it or a refund. Contacted Buildworld who said they would chase their supplier and get back to me. They didn't. Seems they have taken my order and money without having the paint to send to me. Paypal are taking forever to refund me as Buildworld have not replied to them.

Door arrived in good time , solid good looking door, much admired by my neighbour.

I ordered 5 prefinished oak door liner kits, they sent 5 x vinyl wrapped door frames

I have also been informed since that they charge a 40% restocking fee and defects must be reported in 3 days.

A restocking fee on vinyl wrapped fake oak that I never ordered! Also you tend to unwrap things the day you need to install them so that they don't get damaged, not in the first 3 days. I saw the external packaging was not damaged so didn't think to check the oak I had ordered was fake!

Trying to resolve it with them, I will update when I know more
