100% professional - well earned 5 star rating
While recently settling my late father's estate, I was recommended Burton’s Solicitors by a friend who had used them for conveyancing on three separate occasions, and the recommendation proved spot on. I had previously had a poor experience with another solicitor and was told, very confidently, that speaking with Helen Baker would be very different. It was.
I emailed Helen on a Sunday afternoon and she called me just after 9:00am on the Monday morning. That one action set the tone for what followed. I was in Australia for most of the process, so clear and timely communication was absolutely critical. Throughout what became a protracted process, Helen’s communication was exemplary—consistent, proactive, and always clear. At every stage I knew exactly where things stood and what was coming next.
In a process where communication really does make or break the experience, Helen was faultless. Her professionalism, focus, and attention to detail were first class, and she handled matters with a calm assurance that inspired confidence throughout.
Based on my experience, I have no hesitation in recommending Burton’s Solicitors, and Helen in particular.

Professional and friendly conveyancing solicitors
My wife and I instructed Burtons to sell our two bed terrace in Abbey Wood, and overall had a really positive experience.
