Food is great but the containers and particularly the film top are useless and make alot of mess. Even worse when you have to open and stir partway through then try to recover
Absolutely excellent, every one i tried. Especially loved the fish pie, beef bourginion and Thai green chicken curry, but would be happy to reorder all of them. Delicious. And some were even microwave... Voir plus
Absolutely delicious home made food - for my oven! Delighted to have time back and feel I’m being cooked for when I walk into the kitchen and such amazing smells. Will definitely buy again.

Recent order
3 meals ordered fish pie, chicken masala and vegetable lasagna. The fish pie and masala were very nice the vegetable lasagna was not. Too much spinach which spoilt the whole dish.I would not buy that meal again unless there was no spinach in it.

Very dry and small portions. Fish pie? Where was the fish!? I think 3-4 tiny pieces of salmon! Cottage pie was tasteless and also very dry!
Very costly for such small portions!
One dish out of six was kind of okay and that was the dish coq au vin! The rest was not up to scratch!

The customer service is excellent; prompt, thoughtful and generous when there is a problem with delivery. We enjoyed the fish pie, a quick way to enjoy an easy meal on a busy night.

Good quality and excellent taste
I haven't eaten all the meals but the ones I have had have been excellent and the quality is superb. Slightly expensive for a ready meal but we'll worth it. I will be buying more after the New Year

So happy to have found Rubys
I buy these meals for my elderly mother who is now not unfortunately able to cook meals from scratch.
She was a superb home cook so I want her to have the best quality ready meals she can have with nutritional value.
I wish they had more that are microwaveable however.
I put her cottage pie in the oven for her on my last visit and a tried a spoonful and it was delicious!
I look forward to tasting a few more on my visits .
Well done Rubys team, more recipes please then I don’t need to buy meals from anywhere else!

Outstanding in every way
I received a gift voucher from work during a period when cooking for family was tricky. I ordered a selection of meals and was kept informed of delivery dates and progress. When the delivery arrived it was really well packaged. Love the feather insulators. Now in my garden shed waiting for the frost ! Then food we have has so far is outstanding. Lasagne to die for. Chicken tarragon pie amazing. Mac cheese for two - well that went in one go to my hungry teenager ! I will defo be ordering more and make great gifts too. Thank you for an amazing product and service. You deserve success.

Really nice food
Really nice food, although some dishes are a bit skimpy on the meat (I had a Coq Au Vin with 3 small pieces of chicken in it, for example).
In general though, I would highly recommend. The lasagne was delicious in particular.
