I love the food, but hoped to share with my husband, but he's got an aversion to cheese! And unfortunately it's in a few things like cottage pie....so he won't eat that!
I will but them for just me, but it obviously won't be as often.
My first order was delivered during a heatwave, so the topmost item was almost completely defrosted. We cooked and I ate half then froze the cooked half for another day...

Amazing food, the quality is that of a restaurant but from the comfort of your home and so easily cooked with no
prep. Really blown away by how lovely they taste. Would like even more selection and some more family sized meals so we can keep changing it up.

Meals are lovely very tasty. Delivery on stated day good for me. Reasonable price but would love a bigger selection of meals

Really enjoyed the two dishes we recently tried..a Thai Green chicken curry and the Bouef Bourginon. Great to have in freezer on nights you just need a quick and easy supper to microwave. Very good flavours, generous portions.

I ordered a selection of meals for my elderly mother and I got to sample them on my visits to her. Wow, they are lovely, wholesome, tasty meals. I now order them for myself too!

Gift for a new parent! The best thing to get any new family so they have one less thing to think about. Looks delicious and I might start buying for my mum soon too!

Ruby still is the very best for Frozen ready Meals.~ We have been using Ruby for over 5 years!

Fantastic meals. Good portion sizes, good flavour, no nasties, and overall a great hit. Some meals can be microwaved; however, I don't see these offerings as 10-minute ding meals. We liked the idea of being able to take things slow and cook meals in the oven and use the microwave option (if the right meal is selected) for when we need to get dinner on the table quick. Keep up the good work ladies. You've got it nailed.

Liked the food but all of them needed to be oven cooked (as opposed to microwave)
The packaging (box and insulation wrap) were much too bulky for someone with arthritis to deal with.

I bought an expensive fish pie & was disappointed with the amount of fish present & main ingredient was potato - I was then asked to chose a replacement chose Thai curry it was so hot with chilli couldn’t eat it - won’t buy again ☹️

The food tastes excellent, good portion sizes and the customer service is second to none. Some of the food was starting to thaw when it arrived but they resolved this brilliantly. We’ll definitely use them again.

This company claims to produce wonderful tasty home cooked meals . Then delivered or buy frozen.

I have now tried 3 By Ruby meals and rarely write reviews but had to comment. Having used the." Cook " range of meals which are wonderful I thought it was great there was another selection at our local shop.

Firstly packaging size !! Forget feeding 2 as a meal for 2 barely feeds one let alone 2. As for a meal for one a mouse would still be hungry!

I just had the cottage pie for one. It was only satisfying when I covered it with an entire tin of beans and some veg.

Having read the instructions oven cook only for nearly an hour for a tiny portion I was dismayed to see the potatoes had spread into what I can only describe as fondant topping.. no substance at all. Hardly any other ingredients apart from this gloop and a mean ( v mean selection of mince )

The regular supermarkets do budget meals at a fraction of the price with no claims and they are far larger and more tasty.

Talking of price an absolute rip off !! Dearer than any similar competitor on the market.

Tried the Thai green curry last week and just as bad . This company is a rip off and you can email me back trying to explain why your packaging is probably the only thing which costs money. Our little village shop has had numerous complaints like mine and they will be removing them soon...go con someone else !!!

Absolutely spot on for me, single man. Healthiest of food is on offer from By Ruby, and it keeps me fit and enables control of my weight, being in my mid-70s. No additives used, as they have perfeted the ability to deliver frozen food in a well-insulated box, every time.
