We loved the car we were provided with - It was clean, in good condition and even smelt good! Cairns Airport Car Hire provided great customer service. We will definitely be using them again!

I booked on line , paid a deposit, arrived in cairns and was provided with a clean toyota yaris in excellent condition. checked back in 7 days later, having paid balance on pick up, and after a i minute check, was driven to the airport. simple, easy and great service. will be happy to recommend.

No fuss no worry, embarked from the plane, straight to the rental desk, and away we went, dropping off was even easier, and we had the best price that I could find anywhere. The car was almost new, and suited our needs perfectly. Would definitely use this service again.

Part of the excitement of our Far North Queensland holiday was to drive the Bloomfield Track, so imagine our dismay when we arrived at the rental counter to be told that the vehicle we had booked was not suitable for that adventure. However, an alternative 4WD vehicle was soon identified and for a small cost adjustment, we were off on our adventure. The alternative vehicle had even more room for our family of 4 (including 2 tall teenage boys), was very fuel efficient and coped wonderfully with Battle Camp Road and the Bloomfield Track, both dirt roads with several creek & river crossings. Delivery back to the airport was quick & easy.

It was easy to use and get a great quote for the best rental for our 4 days in this area. Rental counters just there as you wait for your bags and very quick and efficient. The car was all ready and waiting in excellent condition just a few steps out of the airport door across the road - no shuttle or waiting around.
Return easy and quick - all in all a very efficient service at a good price.

Transfer from the airport to the rental office was on time and hassle free. Usual forms to fill in, they also offered a cheaper insurance policy than that i was going to get on the net. Car was brand new, service great. Price was incredible on a great special!!!

The airport parking was excellent. Cheaper price for exactly the same vehicle.

Easy to contact, good value ,helpful good price

We arrived at 1am (about 45 mins late on the flight); Amanda @ Budget rental was there, waiting for us. We took the car but then realised our car seat (which we carried with us to Cairns) was of a foreign design and would not fit in the car we had taken. Amanda helped us "search" for the car that had the ability to take our carseat and that was very much appreciated at 1.30 am. Than you Amanda.

We rented a car from East Coast Rentals in Cairns and were delighted with the whole rental process from the time we walked in the door to the time we returned the car, what a delight to use a Car rental firm that treated you like family instead of just a number, i would recomend East Coast Rental by far the best Car Rental experance i have had in a long time, thank you for putting the customer first.

East Coast Car Hire was so helpful, they even dropped us at our next departure point after dropping the car off. It's that sort of service that, next trip to Cairns, I won't bother comparing hire places, I'm going straight back there as I appreciate great service.

I would recommend this company to anyone traveling to far north Queensland on a budget. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was a Sunday and had been raining buckets. No problem with pick ups and returning the car.

Affordable Car Rentals staff and service excellent.

We were a little disappointed that we were given a smaller car than we ordered on the booking website - however this was not the fault of affordable car rentals - the car we booked on the website was not in their fleet. apart from that the car was in excellent condition and drove really well.

Desk staff friendly, car performed great although musty smell was evident. All in all a very nice experience and would recommend to friends.

Team was polite & helpful with my query about confirming out car booking.
