CAR PLANET AFTERSALES…. What a scam can you reply to my emails regarding my car that went in to Audi on the 6th of July and I sent the report to multiple people at car planet as the compressor has gone on the vehicle purchased end of March!!! Car planet had the car back for a week drove the car 100 miles to tell me the car had no faults by law a garage gets one chance to repair the car this was not the case so now by law I want my money back I have been asking them to take the car back for two months!!! A compressor is a main component on a car and Audi has quoted £1600 to repair??? Car planet are purposely ignoring calls and purposely trying to drag out the time so I go out of my warranty to send the car back!!!
Over 100 emails sent over 50 hours spent either being on hold or trying to to get the issues sorted car planet are purposely ignoring calls and emails over this car!!!
They can reply on here but not to emails or call about issues with a car then deny they are uselsss other job!!! Absolutely disgraceful aftersales department I feel sorry for anyone sold extended warranty as nothing will be done!!
So reply to me emails this is going to go very very bad for you in court I too record my calls!!!

The salesman was determined to make a sale no matter what and I found it all bewildering, that said, I did buy z as car! The car has no satnav despite the salesman saying it did, no manual, no carpets, it’s a basic 2023 VW T Cross. Today I visited the VW main dealer to sort out issues concerning the software that needed a factory reset set. Overall z a stressful experience, not one that I look forward to again anytime soon.

We felt like we were just another sale and went from pilar to post. When we did decide to purchase we found it a long drawn out process. Ended up being 2 day before we could take our car. Sales blamed our bank although payment was made.

This is the first time I have brought a car since passing my test so I had alot to get my head around and the guys at car planet went above and beyond to support me in any way they could. They put me at ease reassured me and took there time explaining the process to me etc. Exceptional service and very pleased with my new beautiful car. Because I had to do all the chaceing on this car no one kept in the loop with anything then was told I could get my car delivered to me as it would be put in the finance but that didn’t happen then was told it would cost me £400 to be delivered it was a farse

Car Planet Barnet is genuinely one of the worst dealerships I’ve ever dealt with. If you value your money, your time, or your sanity, avoid this place completely.
We bought a car from them in August last year and the after‑sales service has been an absolute disgrace. The car has a serious battery issue — it dies constantly, and we now need jump‑start it every single time we want to use it. This isn’t a “minor fault”.
We purchased the RAC Platinum Warranty + Maintenance Repair Plan, which clearly states:
“If your vehicle requires Maintenance under the Plan… it is best to go back to your selling dealer in the first instance.”
So we did exactly that — and it’s been nothing but stress, excuses, and complete incompetence.
They take forever to answer the phone, and when they finally do, they fob you off, promise call‑backs that never happen, or hang up on you.
Not once have they taken ownership, not once have they tried to resolve the issue, and not once have they shown even the slightest interest in helping a customer who followed the warranty instructions.
Their behaviour is unprofessional, unreliable, and borderline disrespectful.
Once they’ve taken your money, they simply do not care.
Car Planet Barnet has made what should be a simple warranty process feel like a battle.
I would strongly advise anyone reading this to stay far away from this dealership. The after‑sales experience is genuinely shocking.

It was a great experience to get my car soon and would like to say Anisa working there is a great employee, took alot of trouble to make it work out and also delivered my car at night even when it was so far. Great work and great company

Unfortunately I had an issue with my car relatively soon after purchase. A problem with an ECU. Seems that this is a common issue with modern cars these days.
I never felt that the problem with the electronics was Car Planet's fault, however initially it took some time to get things moving and I definitely think Car Planet could improve their telephone system. Overall however, Car Planet did everything that was asked of them.
Having tried unsuccessfully to repair the electronics in the vehicle, Car Planet offered me the opportunity to send it to a manufacturers dealership and pay for all the repairs, (as they knew I really wanted that particular car). However, I decided ultimately on to settle for a full refund and I have to say that Cara and her 'after sales' team were very professional. Having got the car down to them at their Enfield mega centre, with no further questions asked, Cara assured me that a full refund would be in my bank account within 2 working days. True to her word, the money was in the bank the next day.
Thank you to Cara and her after sales team. Having put a lot of money into the car's purchase, it could have been a very anxious time for me, but you looked after me exceptionally well and I am grateful.

After my car purchase from Car planet on 6th June 2026:I had few issues on my car. Due to the unavailability of after sale team on my phone calls and emails I submitted my review about my experience in Trust pilot.
The next day I received an email from Mashrur, They gave me one garage date on 29th. Due to my personal issues I couldn’t have that date to accept. I sent 3-4 emails regarding further available dates which I can choose. No reply. I tried to call no reply.
I don’t know why I am having this?
I feel like I am punished by getting a car from car planet.
I don’t know how to resolve this issue?
Anyone know how to do formal complaint about this ? Whom I contact for my rights?
