An attractive shrub and green service.
I was looking for a colourful shrub to fill a corner of our garden and found a beautiful multi-coloured buddleia bush on Carbeth Plants website.
The product description &details of the planting requirements were clearly set out and ordering was quick & simple.
I received an almost immediate email acknowledgment and our shrub was dispatched within a couple of days.
It arrived by courier very well packaged and in excellent condition.
We’re now looking forward to seeing it blooming in the summer.

Packaging!! What packaging??
After numerous emails, I’ve explained to the company my opinion on packaging not fit for purpose.
It is only now after reading all of the reviews on Trustpilot that many many people complain about your packing being awful and plants being crushed- when I was emailing you back and forth, I thought it was only me- a one off! No wonder you dismissed my concerns so promptly. Numerous people seem to complain.

Not very professional in my humble opinion.
Received correct amount of strawberry plants but not labelled varieties. First delivery missing garlic. 2nd delivery just garlic but it's really not great. Very small and again not labelled as variety ordered. 3rd delivery is replacement strawberries but even after advising of lack of labelling.... Still no labels just 2 bunches of strawberry plants. £50 Spent... Won't be coming back!!

I ordered a Bears Paw Plant
I ordered a Bears Paw Plant, the photo of the plant on their website was lovely and green. The one which was delivered had more white than green and it's not what I wanted at all. . I expected the packaging to be much better as the plant had lost lots of leaves on arrival.
Carabethplants offered to send another one or refund so I accepted the refund

Not a great experience
I think they need to improve how they package the plants or change courier because when the plant I ordered arrived the box was in a terrible state & it's a miracle the plant didn't fall out, miraculously the plant was unscathed, thankfully, as I have bought it as a gift

We’re sorry to hear that the outer packaging arrived in such poor condition. Our plants are carefully packed before leaving us and the boxes are designed to protect them during transit, but unfortunately we cannot control how parcels are handled once they are with the courier.
We are, however, very pleased to hear that despite the condition of the box, the plant itself arrived safely and unscathed, particularly as it has been purchased as a gift.
We regularly review our packaging and courier arrangements, and feedback such as this is helpful in highlighting where parcels may not have received the care we would expect during transit.

Missing the main part of the order and no response
The whole reason I even put the order in was for onions and garlics and these weren’t included in my package - only realised when I came to plant said ‘onions’ out and realised they were tulips (the part of the order I received). Very disappointed as had a certain time aside to put these out but I’ve just changed to three star from one star as they have now responded and sending out replacements

We had a late delivery of plants by…
We had a late delivery of plants by EVRI which caused
stress by hydration and ultimate death of the delivery.
Carbeth Plants were quick to respond following the
production of the photos of the dyeing plants and reimbursement followed without question.
This is not the fault of Carbeth ! Today we have got another email from EVRI saying ‘’ sorry our driver could not deliver your package from Parker’s Plants ‘’

Please don’t be too concerned by the current appearance of your rhubarb crown. Rhubarb is a deciduous perennial and naturally dies back as it enters dormancy, so crowns supplied at this time of year can look very small or have little to no visible top growth. This does not mean that the crown is dead.
Once planted, it will establish and produce fresh new growth as conditions improve. Newly planted rhubarb also needs some time to establish before producing a substantial crop.
We are sorry that planting instructions were not included with your order. We will send some growing and planting guidance to you by email to help you get the best from your rhubarb crown.
