It must be the worst Service in the UK. Totally unreliable phantom buses that never show up. Constantly making me late for work and appointments. So so bad unhelpful miserable staff to boot.

I was here for holidays. The first shock was not all the buses did not announce the stops in the screen and when I asked to the driver he blame because I did not ask him when I drop in. Yesterday I tried to get a bus to North circle and the bus did not show up. We wait 40 minutes when a "not in service bus" came full and the driver said that she can not allow more than 2 persons... of course I did not know the route and I asked about what was going on (I was jot sure if this bus was good for me or not) while this 2 people went inside instead of me. The driver said that she doesn't know if any more buses are coming, she did not have an idea about if any of the routes 57,58 or C1 (yes 3 routes failed) will come soon I explained that I am lost (also without battery) but she said I am so sorry... it is shame. After a driver from route 52 helped me with instructions (god bless him) and I walked lost in the night in a new city around 30 minutes. Poor people how is living here with this deficient service. 3rd world has better transport and also here is not cheaper.

I moved to Cardiff from Manchester just 6 months ago and I can say for sure Cardiff Bus a friendlier and more efficient service.

The buses overall could be a bit cleaner but in general it was a good experience.

I felt safe, the bus was on time and the driving was safe.

Disgusting they’ve increased a family ticket from £5.50 to £9 in one go!

What is happening to the no 11 bus today at around 4pm I was on Churchill Way and the bus drove straight pass us and wasn't even full.This service used to be one of the best in Cardiff but now it is one of the worst.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The service to certain parts of the city are practically non existent. I swear there must be some equivalent of the Bermuda triangle in Cardiff because I've lost count of the number of times my bus was due and then, poof, gone.

Going to City centre on No 27. On Friday 16 June
12.20pm bus was 20 mins late.

Cardiff Bus cancelled 2 number 11 buses and then cancelled the City Circle 2 bus. Waiting almost an hour to get home town. This is appalling. They want people to use public transport but the service is very poor and not fit for purpose. I would suggest that Cardiff Bus should be subject to a compensation scheme for poor service like air transport or the trains. Perhaps then we may have a service that is usable.

Worst service,visiting Cardiff, 3 days took number 11, horrific service, it is a joke they are running a service in the city

Travelled on the 63 bus from Danescourt to Radyr at 1 o clock lunchtime Saturday 13th of April,the driver was the most caring considerate person and addressed our needs as seniors really sensitively

Atrocious app. Decided to walk

No driver for the number 6 Cardiff bay bus in the city centre yet again. With a whole queue of people waiting. This happens far too frequently and is not acceptable. They have had the cheek to the prices up yet can not deliver the service!

Bus times on app do not match the actual service. Timings given on LEDs at were also inaccurate. Notices giving bus times disappear at random after the proposed arrival time passes.
One 9 bus was switched to not in service as it passed.
Appointment missed!

The worst transportation i have ever experienced in United Kingdom. England’s system is way way better than wales. Worst worst worst multiply by 100. Never comes on time always late even never turn ups to be precise. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I note a huge number of one star reviews on here for Cardiff bus so it appears I am not the only dissatisfied customer. A big shout out to the driver of the 96 bus from Barry Hospital into Cardiff. Having got off the 304 I ran to catch the 96 bus, and as I got to the bus, she literally closed the door in my face. The bus was still stationary so I knocked on bus door, the driver looked directly at me, then drove off leaving myself and two friends waiting 30 mins for the next bus. She is clearly a lady super happy in her job. I did use the next 96, the 304 and the 6, these bus drivers were lovely, very helpful as I tried to make my way around a new town.

Thankyou cardiff bus. Stood on bus stop for over half hour . Bus didn't turn up and sin late for his new job.

Mostly they don't ever turn up, the app is useless, buses are scheduled on it but then just disappear from the listing a few minutes before they arrive. Countless times now I've been waiting for buses on Cathedral Road to go to Llandaff North after work and they never come, this is one of the main roads in a capital city for god's sake, it has to be the worst transport network in the UK. When you see Manchester with free buses around the city and their tram network, you realise how embarrassing Cardiff's buses and transport are. I'd love to use public transport more instead of taxis or driving etc but it's pointless, what's actually going on??

Absolutely shockingly bad service. Buses fail to turn up and are only cancelled seconds before they're due. My daughter has waited nearly an hour in town just to get home to Rumney, a trip which should take 15 mins maximum. She is regularly late for work as buses in the morning are the same, cancelled buses then when one does eventually turn up, it's so full it dangerous. It's a total disgrace and no wonder people end up using their cars. This city will never reach it's green targets while the service is so unfit for purpose.

I hate Cardiff bus!!! So slow, making me miss appointments, the buses don’t get to the bus stops at the same time..always arriving later than ever.
