CarExamer.com Avis

Brilliant service. Very detailed and took the time to explain to me any discrepancies. I would highly recommend and urge future customers to have a full check carried out. I would highly recommend the inspector who checked the vehicle I was looking at purchasing.

Johnathan was very thorough with his inspection. This included a detailed report, a video, numerous photos and a follow up phone call where I was able to ask questions and discuss his findings. As as a result, I was able to make an informed decision about buying the vehicle knowing it had been inspected thoroughly.

Had a premium inspection done by Klavs and was impressed with the results. He was exceptionally thorough taking over 2hrs and went over everything possible. His report and video were honest and detailed. The phone conversation was very informative and he was happy to answer questions and give advice even saying I could call again if I needed. Money well spent.

Very quick service and precise report made by Kami.
The service was booked on a Tue and the inspection & the report were ready on Wed, I was really impressed especially if compared to the long wait of other providers. Thank you!

Good professional service. Booked and a speedy inspection, followed by a detailed report and a discussion on the report.
Recommend Klavis and would be happy to use him again.

I had the AA inspect a car two months ago, and it was appalling failed to pick up that the steering wheel pulled to one side and the seat had a burn mark etc etc. CarExamer provided a quick service and the report I would like to say is so comprehensive and covered all the aspects I was expecting to see, there was a video walk around showing the defects and a full write up as well. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again.

engineer was really thorough in feedback and gave me simple, honest advice

quick and efficient. Website easy to use. Keep you informed about when they will turn up. Report back to me within a couple of hours. Would defo use again.

Klavs my car inspector was absolutely fantastic, he certainly knew what to look for and revealed everything that had been highlighted by the garage that had serviced the car I was looking to buy for over 12 years. He identified all the areas that the service garage had highlighted including a faulty gearbox, oil leaks and the Liszt goes on. Klavs kindly followed up the inspection with a professional review of car and advice on repair costs. As a consequence I did not purchase the car and Klavs inspection saved me from a nightmare waiting to happen. Outstanding in every way. Thank you Klavs, excellent and professional service 🙏

While the report appeared largely thorough, I was concenred about the inspectors comments that he felt rushed. He was on site for 4 hours, during which he spent a considerable amount of time on his phone conducting personal business.
I am not surprised the vendor wanted him to hurry up! He wanted to get home.
The result of this was limited inspection of the specific concerns I'd raised. It left me feeling it was not an entirely professional approach

I can’t recommend CarExamer enough. First time using an inspection service and having been put off by AA’s pricing, I went searching for an alternative and came across CE. They got good reviews on here and their price was much more reasonable, the service was fantastic. The seller commented on how good they were too. Extremely thorough, the report was compiled with so much detail and the inspector Klavs was more than happy to take calls to discuss the vehicle. It gave me absolute confidence to go ahead with the purchase and also allowed me to get a little more off the purchase price too. I will absolutely use Car Examer again and have already recommended them to multiple people.

When buying a car I would say anything over £8k and/or the car is located far away I would suggest using Carexamer for having your car inspected before purchasing. I got 2 tests done with them and they were very insightful. First car I avoided after they tested it but the second car was perfect. Bought the car just under a year ago and only the other day I had an issue with it but thankfully it was a common issue which the car manufacturer will fix for no additional cost. Will use them again when buying my next car!

Excellent service, the engineer who inspected was obviously very knowledgeable and proficient. Sadly the car was not as advertised so I was very pleased that this was immediately picked up and reported back by phone prior to the report being published. Will use this firm again for sure.

Excellent and thorough examination by clous would recommend him at any time
Have used him on several occasions and five star every time

Great experience! I can't recommend this service enough and Klavs made it very easy for us. He was very helpful on the phone to give us a full report of the car we had inspected. The report was very thorough and in conclusion we would have bought a car that had a lot wrong with it. He was very knowledgeable and used his experience to detect an issue, which lead him to other issues. Very nice to work with as well!

Very impressed with the service, excellent communication, very proactive and would highly recommend/use again!

The inspector's attention to detail and meticulous nature are well-appreciated! I recommend highly this service! I will definitely utilize this service in the future.

Great - detailed review and very friendly reviewer. Kept me up to date on everything

They did a car inspection on a used car I wanted to buy as I was unsure on the vehicles true condition and thought it was not as described.

From booking it to receiving the examiners report took 3 days and confirmed that the car was not as immaculate as described due to poorly repaired paint work and poor mechanics.
Thankfully saved me paying out £6350 for a BMW with no V5C to hand and made up maintenance.

I signed up for Car Examer car inspection after the quote they gave on their website. I gave the location of the car and the cars reg number during the process, they agreed on a price then when I booked they said it will be an extra £100. I spoke to a girl called Ana on the virtual assistant who was rude and couldn't get through on the phone. I've now booked with the RAC and received great customer service.
