We are a Tonbridge Based Taxi, Private Hire and Chauffeur business that has been trading since January 1995. We offer 4 to 8 passenger vehicles every day of the year, usually 24 hours a day. This is dependant on staff holidays etc for the period from midnight to 4am but if pre-booked can usually be accommodated. We will go anywhere, local or long distance and average over 200 airport transfers per week. We also offer an executive / wedding service in a suitable vehicle. Please call for details. All vehicles take cash or card payment, and we can also offer business accounts on request. Castle Cars has an excellent reputation for standards and reliability and has won many awards both locally and nationally including top 3 for 10 consecutive years winning in 2021 and again in 2025 of the Small Private Hire Company of the Year, given by Professional Driver Magazine. We are also a Times Small Business of the Year Winner, as well as several others. Our Google Reviews averaging 4.8 / 5 from over 1000 different passengers back up how well we are regarded by past customers.

As always castle cars give excellent service, fantastic drivers so friendly and they will do they upmost to fit you in and if you are early they try there best to send a car straight away, you can pay by card or cash which is handy for when you can't get to a cashpoint, cars are always spotless and clearly marked so you can spot them easily and they send you text messages so you can track them on there journey to you

Very rude driver!
I attended a wedding on Tuesday and had a taxi booked for midnight. When the taxi arrived they called me and said that they had been here, at the venue for ‘ages’ it was 1203!
Very rude on the phone and then hung up.
When I went outside the taxi driving was again very rude to me and said he would leave me there if I didn’t get in.
Update… that is not the transcript! As the driver said… ‘hurry up I’ve been here for ages!’
Why ask for a review and when you get honest feedback re the driver, you don’t like it. That says a lot about the company to me. Also there is no transcript of the conversation when the driver spoke to me and other guests outside - this is when he was

Yes our cars did arrive 5 minutes early and then at midnight when your bookings were due the drivers called to let you know that your cars were outside, in addition to the text you would have got when they arrived. Neither call was answered!
A few minutes later one of the drivers called again and this time it was answered. At no time was he rude but simply let you know that they were waiting outside.
You eventually got in the cars at 0013, almost 15 minutes late, and making those drivers late to pick up more of the guests that were due at 0015. So far we have been lucky that those guests have not left bad reviews for their taxis being late for them.
Our cars are all satellite tracked and every phone call recorded. Every booking gets a text to let them know that their car is on its way, and a link to track the car. They then get another when the car arrives to to let them know it is there.
Our other reviews make this quite clear.
We have an excellent reputation for our reliability but it does depend on customers also being on time. Our drivers are not earning while they are waiting for people that are late. Why should they suffer a financial penalty because you cannot be on time?
I have screenshot evidence of your lateness so the only person to look bad from this review is yourself. It is up to you if you leave it or remove it but all of our other reviews give a true reflection of our customer’s experience of us.

You then told your friends that he was outside, but did not get in the car until 00:13:45. As can be seen at no time was he rude to you!

Driver polite. He made sure our daughter had everything for her flight, checked with her. We knew when they were coming, efficient booking tracking and informative system. Just what you need for an emotional goodbye !
