Quality ingredients, sourcing, ease of ascertaining information, step-by-step communication re: order status from receipt through actual delivery, helpful customer service, convenient packaging are a few reasons we love Cat Person... but my PURRsonal kitty and our lovies for adoption made the final decision letting us know they love the food! (and the boxes, too)

In addition to saving the lives of homeless cats from shelters and crises situations, in my capacity as a professional pet sitter and founder of a cat rescue, lounge and adoption center, our mission focuses heavily on education and prevention. And a healthy cat begins with what they eat!

Due to many mergers and acquisitions of big pet food companies, changes in ingredients, packaging plants, lack of regulations and legislation, typically, I never recommend specific brands.

Our priority and approach is empowering pet parents with knowledge and the ability to make informed decisions on behalf of their pets' well-being. One of the most challenging and vital decisions is selecting balanced, species-appropriate nutrition. And I feel very confident, at this time, recommending Cat Person.

When I first saw the ad for Cat People I was a little hesitant. Then I figured the cost i was now spending on health conscious food and it was about the same.
The food here looks and smells like something you and I would eat, so why not feed it to you cat. It's healthy without a lot of fillers and my cat loves it!

Food choices/quality, customer service, quiz to start, meal plan options, love the box conversions to enrichment, just all-around thrilled with the company.

I was looking for a cat food delivery and BAM! I saw Cat Person. My Stella loves shreds in broth and we are always running out. I took the short quiz and a few days later got the food. It took her a day or so to adjust. However, now at feeding time, she RUNS for her food. I couldn’t be more happy that we have found an amazing stress free and nutritious solution for our girl. She’s more active. Her coat is so soft. Thank you Cat Person!

My kitty recently went from 4 teeth to 3 and her diet transitioned to mostly wet food. After struggling with many wet food brands being too harsh on her tummy, Cat Person was exactly what she needed. High protein, low in additives and gross filler that other brands have. Super convenient for me to have it come every month so I feel like it’s always in stock at my house. She LOVES the salmon and tuna recipe and scarfs it down like nothing else. Thankful that I tried Cat Person after seeing them on @Alexalosey page!

Okay my younger 4 yr old cat who is a Maine Coon loves the wet food. She gobbled it up no need to transition her to the wet food. My older 14 yr old cat needs more time in transition to this food. She snubbing it so I’m starting with very little in her dish mixing about 95 % old food then every 3 days I will increase it. The dry food they both hate it but I will transition them into it. My Maine coon has small bladder stones, so I may have to change her dry food to an RX formula. But the wet should be okay since it’s all natural.

I was really hoping my cats would like this after their favorite seems to have been discontinued.
-I have one finicky cat - he doesn't like the same food or even brand twice in a row. New food does not need to be introduced to him, he will eat something new as long as it isn't the same thing he had at the last meal.
-My second cat eats anything and everything you put in front of him without hesitation.

Neither of them would touch this - even the one who will eat anything looked at me confused like it wasn't even food.

The company will not refund me unless I at least try to feed it to them for a week - and unfortunately, I'm not willing to starve my cats for a refund. I think this is a pretty crappy policy - I know my cats better than they do. It's really too expensive to be going in the trash but oh well.

I also love that they suggest that I "do not know how to read" in their response. I did, indeed, try their existing food along side this food, and they were so offended they refused both. They would absolutely not eat anything in the vicinity of this food, and refused to eat until I offered them one of their usuals by itself and removed this entirely.

I want to be clear - they would not eat the dry food, the wet food, or the special treat topper.

I don't even care about a refund at this point, but I'm glad people can see this review and that the company will just tell you that you don't know how to read and follow instructions if your cats don't like their food.

Each cat is different, so I'm sure the people who had success with this food are being honest about it. For those who are considering trying it, if you have the time, money, and patience to jump through hoops for a refund - and don't mind the company telling you that it's your fault your cats don't like it - then by all means, give it a try. I, however, am regretting my decision - especially with job loss due to COVID. Spending this much on cat food for this horrible experience is a lesson learned.

After yet another attempt at finding our cat food online (out of stock) and our local store (empty shelf) and failing, we decided to search for a brand/company who would be able to provide a quality cat food consistently. We found Cat Person and decided to give their food a try. We like that there are plenty of flavors and types of food (pate, shredded, dry), and we can pick and choose and even change our monthly orders as needed. oh, and their cat toys are great and they send packaging that our cats can play in, too!

This food is really good and my cats love it. I have two cats so I split a wet food between them twice a day and the dry food is always available.

My Rory wasn't sure about this food the first couple of tries but now he loves it!!! He starts eating out of the dish while it is on the counter before I can get it onto the floor. He eats mostly pate with a little dry. He loves all the "birds". Thank you for making something healthy that is convenient to use.

Excellent experience with cat person. High quality ingredients reasonably priced and portions are good. Packaging is very nice and I loved the box it arrived in and my cat loves it too. My cat has been slow on taking to the food however she is very very picky but has at least eaten some of it. I am thinking about taking her off of wet food for a while since everything I buy she has a problem with. So when it is time to buy more dry food I am going to try your food first. I would encourage anyone looking for high quality food to try this for yourself.

I have two very finicky cats. I must have thrown away 50 cans of expensive, high end cat food (well, to be honest, the dog ate them). I know how important it is for cats to eat wet food so I kept trying. Found Cat Person and my problems were solved. My cats love it and the people that work there go out of their way to help. Great company!

Great ordering experience and shipping! My adult kitties have PICA and so we ordered Cat Persons cat nutritional meals. In the first two weeks they cut down tremendously on eating plastic. It has been a full month now and they haven’t bothered any of our plastic in two weeks!!! Also, they were shedding more of their hair than wearing it. And now- that has greatly been reduced! I’m excited to see how much more the Cat Person’s quality of meals will help!

I really love that this company only makes products for cats. They understand and love cats! The food seems to be very high quality. I love the scoop and container lids they offer to new customers and use them daily. What a nice extra touch! The artwork and marketing are also very appealing to a creative person like myself. I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.

My cats love all the flavors of Cat Person food! I have been known to purchase more than two kinds of food in an effort to find a food the cats love, that's also high quality and healthy for them too. Cat Person's dry food is made in the U.S. and the wet food is made in Thailand in a place where they make human-grade food. That's impressive.

I tried their “trial package” of wet and dry food ($25.) I was impressed with their presentation.
Unfortunately, my cats were NOT impressed with the food. They aren’t generally picky when it comes to food, but, they DID NOT like the dry or the wet foods. I tried your suggestions, but, the cats were just not having it. In fact, my male tried his best to cover up the dish I place before him. So, I told co-founder, Lambert, in an email “I’m sorry to say, I won’t want to order anymore cat food.” He did NOT respond! I sent several emails to Catperson...NO response!
Then I received an email message, that my *new* shipment was on its way. I immediately email Catperson
& told them I did NOT place an order. But it arrived anyway on 3/29/21...a huge white box, via FedEx, that cost me $79.20!
There was no way to contact them, so I emailed them several more times to NO RESPONSE.
To my horror, I receive ANOTHER message that a new package would arrive via FEDEX, on 4/26/21. It DID indeed arrive, and cost me another $79.20.
WHAT is wrong with these people??? I’m retired and live off my SS. They’ve ripped me off. Buyer beware!
I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

My cat is a very picky eater, and I’ve gone through so many brands of wet and dry food. Cat Person popped up as an ad in my insta feed, and after reading up on them, I decided to give them a try. I’m sooooo glad I did! I now have all three flavors of dry food in rotation for my cat, and he’s obsessed with them.

If you have a picky eater, too, I highly recommend Cat Person. My cat isn’t a big fan of wet food in general, so I haven’t tried the wet food, but the dry food is wonderful! It has little meat pieces along with the kibble-like pieces, and my cat goes crazy for it all.

I'm loving Cat Person! Its affordable and convenient. One of my cats hated dry food but he loves the Chicken and Turkey recipe, my other cat is just super picky with wet food but he loves these, Cat Person and the Friskies soups are the only things he'll eat now. I'm so happy with products and most importantly, so are my cats! I think its so cute that they send the little spoons, scoop and silicone lids with your first order! The packaging is also soo creative, my cats love playing in boxes so the fact that I can make it a little house is adorable.
I've had no issues what so ever when it comes to shipping, my boxes so far have come in a timely matter.
