CAVOUR Avis 

Cavour is my first—and usually my last—stop whenever I invest in my wardrobe. The craftsmanship, especially in the tailoring but also in the shirts and knitwear, is unmatched in this price range. These are by far my best pieces of clothing.

The pricing and sale policies are a bit puzzling. (And the cut of the Mod-2 suit pants is surprisingly tight, given the brand’s otherwise reliable sense of style.)

But that doesn’t change the fact that the shop, shipping, returns, and customer service are absolutely professional and reliable.
I’ve never had a problem, but I’m convinced that the team would do everything to resolve any issue to my satisfaction.

My most recent made-to-measure experience has only confirmed this impression.

Sometimes in life the saying reflects matters in a nutshell. If it’s expensive there is a reason and if it’s cheap, there’s a reason.

It’s high end. Yes, it’s expensive, but the quality and the fit is spot on. I will be a return customer for sure. Well worth it!!

I recently received the Mod 2 Camel Checked sportcoat.

It is rare that a garment fits as well as this jacket does right out of the package.I would normally go straight to a tailor but this fits wonderfully. For reference I bought size 52; I am 6 ft tall (184cm) and weigh 183 lb (83 kg), and require a jacket sleeve length of 25.8 in. (65.5 cm)

I particularly like that Cavour gives the detailed measurements of the model wearing the garment. This helped me greatly and gave me confidence to try my first garment.

I am so pleased to have found Cavour as a high quality menswear source.

I placed my order over two weeks ago, and I still haven’t received anything.

I also emailed earlier to ask for an update on what is happening with the shipment, but I have not received any response. UPS tracking has not provided any clarity either, and there has been no follow-up from their side.

This is a costly premium sweater so you can expect some quality service in exchange, which is not happening. At this point it honestly feels like the package has simply disappeared and that I’m unable to get in contact with anyone...

I don't know why the score is that low for this brand.

I've ordered multiple items and I've always found the quality to be good (if not very good) for the price, especially during sales. I'm talking about the fabrics, the cut, the design and the construction.
Prices during sales are very competitive. Standard prices are all right for most items, "meh" for some others.
Shipping to Italy is fast and of course traceable.

I appreciate their return policy, first two free, then based on how many items you return, the return fee increases. Good for the business, good for the environment.

Support replies clearly and fast.

Advice: put more attention on items' descriptions and size chart as I've found they're often not accurate and some other times they're absent (material, size charts, info on lining).
Also, I would either bring the free shipping limit at 150€ or the shipping cost at 10€, but I understand why it's the way it is.
I'm also up for the come back of short jacket sizes.

The shoes are not worth the price, awful quality, consider buying Myrqvist, Loake etc instead

Not a trustworthy retailer!

I returned a jacket that did not fit, only to have Cavour fraudulently deny my return by making false claims.
They alleged that tags were removed and that the jacket was contaminated with large quantities of fragrance—both of which are untrue. 

Cavour has been presented with photographic and timestamped proof disproving their allegations (that trying-on and re-packaging were conducted in under 25 minutes). They themselves have failed to provide any evidence as required by law.

Despite attempt of contact, Cavour has still not responded (7 days and going) and has not to processed a refund. 

This is not only a breach of contract but also a violation of Norwegian consumer protection law.

Future customers should be aware that shopping with Cavour carries the risk of fraudulently denied returns, ignored communication, and loss of money.

UPDATE: A few hours after this review was posted Cavour refunded full amount after repeated contact (cc'd a company executive on the email).
Still would never shop there again after the hassle.

Hadde jeg eid Cavour Vika hadde jeg panikkert. En ung mann ansatt lørdag kl. 1650. "Skulle hatt en vest, har dere noe slikt? Neei...sa ung mann, men kanskje her. Viste meg en vest til 12900. På tilbud dog. Han forsvnt raskt til dama si som trippet ved disken. Jeg gikk litt rundt og fant en annen. Uten pris. Spurte hva prisen var. Den kostet 7000. "Men nå stenger vi" sa ung mann.
