Overall deceiving, poor value
Overall deceiving. What you receive in terms of fabric and finishing has nothing to do with the so-called "sartoriale" style and certainly not with the website pricing, even during Sale. If you are into wardrobe renewal, better buy yourself a ticket to Italy during sale period...Oh, and their sizing is totally unreliable/wrong (for instance, claiming that their trousers sizes are 10 points more than a US size) but at least they cover the return shipment.

House line suits are now made in China
Very misleading products. I've just purchased a suit, thinking that I've managed to grab a bargain after reading a couple of articles that their house suits are made in Italy. Even the construction of the suits are very Italian so one could assume that these are made in that country. Only to find out that they're made in China when I received an email from them a couple of days after receiving the suit. No transparency on their web site either!
I'm in the process of returning the suit and hoping to get a full refund.

Thanks for reaching out and let us know your thoughts and concerns.
We are not trying to hide anything - that is i why we are sending out this kind of emails & blog-posts, to educate our customers about our products.
Our production, with a full canvas product for now, on sale, about 500USD - it is really hard to beat.
When we started Cavour we produced in Italy. So if you read an older artice, it would likely state made in italy. If you experienced this as misleading, we humbly apologize.
But we never found a product that we could be really proud of for a price that we wanted to introduce under Cavour label (below 1.000usd retail price).
Then we found this manufacturer in China which is a dream to work with and make fantastic products, that can go head to head with high end Italian brands, in terms of production quality and make.
Bottom line, this exact same product, made in italy, would come at a substantially higher retail price. Have a look at brands like Isaia or Zegna, as an example.
Either way we are happy to accept your return.

MADE IN CHINA 🇨🇳
Warning : the company moved from the made in Italy to confection of the cavour line (except cavour sartoria) made in China. Which isn’t a problem as chinese confection can be a very good quality! However, they don’t talk about that change anywhere on the website nor on the product label and you can even still find article on their website saying they’re making 100% in Italy.
Such lack of transparency is a definite NO GO for me.

Hello Hadrien, we are very sorry for your bad experience with us. We are really proud of our production and products. The tailoring are as you mention made in China now for the regular Cavour line (Sartoria made in Italy).
Regarding the blogpost - we are sorry for not updating it. It was written when we first started the existing website and was written 3-4 years ago when it was made in Italy. It will be corrected/taken down asap.
We have a new blogpost planned for this/next week where all this will be written and I hope that you will understand us better by then.
Our new website is coming in March/April this year and we are then planning to add the made-in field.
