The engineer arrived on schedule

The engineer arrived on schedule. The problem didn’t present itself clearly but the engineer made a few adjustments and said we could call him back at any time if the problem persisted.
The alarm bell has sounded once in 24 hours. We are giving it a few more days and will be calling him back if necessary.
He was polite and assuring and I have no worries about a recall if it is required.

AVOID - Worst appliances. 3 out of 4 broke down!

Have 4 appliances from this crowd, fridge broke and was replaced, freezer broke down twice and now they oven has blown the heating element after very little use and because we signed the contract with Wren they are taking that as the proof of sale although wasn't delivered to our house til later in the year and fitted in the June 2024 so they won't look at it under warranty although it should still be in it!
Worst appliances ever bought and worst company have ever dealt with!

Graham the engineer was great

Graham the engineer was great. Phoned ahead. Turned up when he said he would. Quick diagnosis and fix of the problem. All very efficient.

That’s exact contrast to arranging the appointment. Multiple phone calls. Appointment sent for a day when we were away (despite saying we were away). Then a 3 week wait!

Beware CDA Cookers.

I would give a -Star review if I could. My advice to anyone buying a Wren Kitchen don't go with the CDA Cooker. My built in single oven came,(3 years and 6 months ago) first of all damaged and had to be replaced. It was fitted and immediately started to melt the surrounding cabinets. 3 Wren doors had to be replaced at a cost to ourselves of £60 each door to be fitted. Oven had a faulty door. Was replaced. By CDA Engineer. Then the heater broke down, had to have that replaced with a cost of a £149 for call out as parts still under warranty. Then last week the thermostat went, only getting to 50c. Not repairing this time. It will be cheaper to get another oven and hopefully better made. Beware of CDA cookers.
I have now received an email from unknown person at CDA requesting more details. There isn’t any correct email address to reply to apart from a request for more details on the situation wanting my telephone number and name. I wont give out my telephone number to anyone on line because of scam phone calls experience. All I can say is this is a genuine review, no malice in the content just an honest review of this cooker . The problems with the cooker are all clearly laid out as above. And no, I don't want an offer with a replacement CDA Cooker thank you very much.

Extremely slow and frustrating customer care

Extremely slow process, took over 3 weeks from me informing CDA of my broken fridge to receiving information about getting a new one. Would have been 4 weeks start to finish to receive a new one, which is an unacceptable time length to not have a fridge or freezer. Doesn’t help having to chase people every single day during that time, and also speaking to multiple employees who you have to explain the situation to each time.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Prompt answer of phone and ring back service available. Polite staff and engineers are professional and courteous. Great resolution to my problems. I would recommend CDA to anyone for quality and service.

Never received the part I ordered over…

Never received the part I ordered over 2 months ago! requested my money back never had it! Will take my complaint further! You can’t have my money and not deliver the goods !

Darren rang to let me know he was on his way and timescales for arrival. He sorted my issue with the dishwasher immediately, professionally and was very courteous
He also gave me some tips on both the dishwasher and my new CDA oven

Your engineer was very professional

Your engineer was very professional, however it took 5 mins to repair the oven and it was something we could have done had we been told how to reset the oven. We had a day off work for no reason so not impressed.

Warranty claim

The warranty process was handled efficiently and seamlessly from start to finish, making the entire experience straightforward and stress-free. From the initial contact through to the resolution, everything was clearly communicated and well organised.

The engineer demonstrated a high level of professionalism at all times. They arrived promptly, carried out their work with care and attention to detail, and took the time to explain the process clearly. Their courteous manner and expertise helped ensure that the issue was resolved quickly and to a high standard.

Overall, the service provided was excellent, and the professionalism shown throughout reflects very positively on the company.

Poor quality products

Had fridge freezer installed in 2019 and freezer doors broke off and cracks in interiors almost immediately. Had a full fridge freezer replacement after several complaints and photo exchanges and fitter advised that there has been ‘loads of issues’ with my model. Cracks appeared again and freezer doors broken off again which is both unsafe and unhygienic. I have now been told that this is my fault and am being ignored when I send photos etc. New cracks continue to appear.
We saved for a long time for a new kitchen and have had a terrible experience with both CDA and Wren Kitchens when it comes to quality of product, installation and customer service.
Do not buy from them.

Response to reply from CDA below:
CDA admitted fault and fully replaced the fridge freezer within two years of purchase and yet now the same fault has occurred and I am being told this is my fault. The fitter even told me it was a faulty item!
There are cracks along the bottom of the fridge and up the side, with new ones still appearing. All the freezer doors have fallen off and yet this is caused by impact according to CDA.

The last communication in 2025 was to that effect with photos and was ignored.

Waited long time for microwave oven…

Waited long time for microwave oven door to arrive.
When it did arrive engineer could not fix it.
Another one came wronge one.very dissopointed customer

They were good in terms of repairing my…

They were good in terms of repairing my tumble dryer, but in the process somehow smashed the switch socket for the tumble dryer(a fused socket) and appears they tried to hide it behind stuff I had on the counter which now has to be replaced. All they had to do was turn it on so how they broke a socket is beyond me. Just glad I don't have to pay for the socket to be replaced.

Microwave had catastrophic failure less…

Microwave had catastrophic failure less than one year old. It has so far taken over 6 weeks and yet to have functioning microwave. Unnecessary engineer visits, wait for parts and now at least another 7 working days to wait replacement unit and fitting. Positives are Liv at CDA has been good with responses and engineers have been on time.
