This company is a sham. My sister has been trying to get a claim settled since December. I am not sure why business still sell these policies. She has jumped through hoops to get this taken care of. Even the business she bought the item from has sent information.
Shamful taking peoples money and not providing a resolution.

Took almost 2 months for a decision but customer service representatives kept saying they had 3-4 days to respond. You can't talk to anyone with authority and definitely not claims department.
Doesn't matter to them if you are injured, by all means don't try to fix it. If you do they will cover NOTHING on the machine until you pay for the repair and send them proof even if different issue

Our 2-year-old GE washer, purchased from Speichers Appliance in Chambersburg, PA, stopped working last week. We filed a claim immediately with Centricity, as advised by the retailer, since we purchased their extended warranty.
It has now been over a week with no resolution. We have received no proactive communication, updates, or timeline. Each time I contact Centricity, I am told the claim is “under review” and instructed to call back again in a few days.
At this point, we have a non-working washer and no clear path forward. An extended warranty should provide timely support when an appliance fails — that is the purpose of purchasing one. The lack of follow-up and transparency has been frustrating.
We are simply looking for clear communication and prompt resolution consistent with the coverage we purchased.

Very frustrating and will never get one of these warranties again!last year my drier quit working after only 2 years. Took 3 weeks for someone to come out to just look at it and then I heard nothing back for weeks. On Thanksgiving Day I got a call from and offshore Centricity representative saying that they determined that the part was too e pensive and they would give me a credit to replace the drier. Yes, it’s great that they replaced it, but I went a month and a half with no drier. Now my oven quit working and tha warranty is also with Centricity. It’s going to be 2 weeks before they will even send a repair guy to look at the oven and will then have to submit their report to Centricity to get approval to even order the part…and then I’ll need to wait until they can get back out to install it or if the whole unit will need to be replaced. So now I’m looking at at least a month with no oven and I have a party planned that I will need my oven to prepare the food.

Centricity used to provide a quality extended service contract to our customers. In the last year they have opted to become a cut rate, cut throat kind of business. Though we no longer offer their service contracts, we are stuck doing business with them until 2029 when the last of our customers contracts with them will expire. They try to undercut every claim that is filed with them. Between not reaching to customers or dealers in a timely manner, circumventing the dealer and offering resolution at a fraction of the original purchase price of the appliance, making demands that we get case numbers from the manufacturer despite the unit being out of the manufactures warranty, and who knows what the next hoops will be to jump through, this company is AWFUL to work with.

Updating my review. After a few months of back and forth, the company sent me a check to replace my washer.

Their website is useless. I tried to open a new claim and it kept asking me if I wanted to view an old claim. The phone number is in tiny text and hard to find. Then when you call, you have to provide all this info even though they already have associated with your phone number. "For security". From someone impersonating you to get your dryer fixed?? Then the system says it will try to locate a repair appointment which is nonsense because they haven't had the chance yet to delay you over and over before they open a claim. They make you recite again all of the info to the agent you already gave to the automated system and that they are looking at on your screen, name number address email model number serial number. Then they tell you to unplug it for 15 minutes to do a factory reset on an appliance that doesn't reset because it has no electrical components. It's not really for a reset, it's to delay and frustrate you more. No one ever ever ever ever tells you to unplug anything for me than 2 or 3 minutes. But ok. Then when you call back, they tell you they can help you until they you send a picture of the tag from the dryer that has the serial number and model you already gave to them. Then you'll get a call on 3 business days. Meanwhile you don't have a working appliance. And that's just waiting 3 days for a call back, not counting how long it takes to get a repair company there. They find every reason to put you off and make you call back over and over again. People have lives that do not accommodate this obstructive process.
If they really wanted to help you quickly, they'd stop using the automated system- because it *never* makes an appointment and the info it takes is just requested again- not ask you to try troubleshooting irrelevant to your appliance, ask for the model and serial number photo up front, etc.
My previous repair call, the agent literally told me to send video of a sound. A sound.
If you have an appliance seller that uses this, you might want to rethink and go to a different place. It's designed to make you give up.
In response to the response-
NO a Team Lead didn't call me back. Someone with an 888 number who *might have* been called me and hung up without leaving any message, so who knows. That's not an honest effort to help, thats checking a box.
3/10 Update- jerked around some more, was asked yet anotherv time to send a photo of serial number, and when I said I already had, they asked me if O had confirmation, I said I had the screenshot of the website where I uploaded it (which I did because I knew they'd say they didn't get it) and they said, no no and it by email, even though the last 2 agents told me no no, we don't use email anymore.
Finally, an "agent" with crowing roosters and children yelling in the background called me and scheduled an appointment for 8-12 today, no one showed (surprise!!!), I called, they jerked me around some more- oh we still need this other department to tell us if they're going to service or replace the item- oh, they canceled the appointment- but I guess they forgot to tell me that and I lost a half day of work FOR NOTHING.
I called back and a "supervisor" told me to call the store, I called the number while he was on hold, and put them both on speaker so he could hear the repair page say they no longer work with Centricity and have no for a long time. So now he says, oh. Well we are working to find out if they are going to repair or replace or send me a buyout.
I called the store where I bought it and they basically said tough s**t you'll have to keep arguing with Centricity.
So I'm f**ked.
I'll say this- if you *ever* buy a warranty on an appliance, search reviews on that company before you do. You're better off saving your money for a new appliance than buying it from a company in another country where they have no resources or communication with repair places in *this* country.

Had purchased extended warranty and when my washer did not operate as should be I was given a refund. Not as much as I expected, as I paid 900.00 for washer and 199.99 for extended warranty. My credit was only for 649.00. Was thinking it should have been at least 800.00.

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. I have been waiting since 11/28/2025 for a repair on my refrigerator. I had to file the claim twice and I have called this company several times with no results. I have given them the requested information as well as pictures of the issue, still no repair. I am hopeful I can get my money back for the 3 warranties I have purchased from this company. Apparently no local appliance repair places will work with them due to issues getting paid. I feel ripped off!

Since July 2025, we have been trying to have our oven repaired or replaced with Centricity Epic Protect, but the issue remains unresolved after more than seven months. Despite over 20 phone calls and at least 10 claim records, the company has repeatedly refused to authorize either a repair or a replacement. Two different service companies were dispatched, but when they requested approval for parts or indicated the oven required replacement, authorization was denied. In some cases, the warranty company claimed they had contacted repair providers who later reported having no record of the request, and we have even received emails incorrectly stating the service was completed. We continue to be given assurances that the matter is being investigated, yet no action is taken. After months of delays, denials, and misinformation, the warranty has proven completely ineffective, and our oven is still not repaired.

Have had an issue with a built in ice maker since November. Bodewell diagnosed it as well as another company who Centricity sent as they didn’t trust the manufacturers own company. We’ve send videos, diagnoses from both numerous times. Still cannot get an approval for repair, no calls back, no emails back, no one coming out as promised. All lies, delays, deflection. They have no clue what’s going on. Will get the AG and insurance commission involved. Absolutely a joke of a company and waste of money / time.
2/17/26 update per Centricity's reply - my name here is my name on the contract, you should be able to easily find me in your systems...

*Update*
Centricity had a US based person call after my review and said they would get this claim taken care of immediately. It wasn't any faster than the multiple people I had talked to on their customer service line for the last week and few days. They also asked if I would update my review for this timely service. I said sure because I didn't want to compromise getting the service I needed. I now have vinyl floors and cabinets to fix from the leaky dishwasher. I wonder how many other positive reviews were people like myself who felt obligated so they could get what they need.
I submitted a claim last week that my dishwasher was leaking. We had it confirmed by a plumber it was a part and not plumbing so I escalated the ticket by uploading a video. Each time I talked to someone there was something different. First, they had seen the video and said they had contacted the appliance company for a replacement and it would take a few days. Then when I called back they needed me to send the bar code on the inside of the dishwasher. Fine. Then they needed me to upload the video because they hadn’t gotten it. Then it was too big so they needed me to send again. This morning, a full week later, they said their claims department was still working on it because it was under $800 and somehow that makes the claim more difficult and they wouldn’t have an answer for me till Wednesday this week. All the while it’s still leaking water and ruining the floor and cabinets in my kitchen.
It's crazy to me there's not some sort of emergency offering, even if carried a fee, for claims that involve something more time sensitive like a leak. I get not every appliance issue is an emergency (even if it feels like it to the customer) but at this point a replacement will happen two weeks after the initial incident and an unknown amounts of damage to my floors and cabinets. If the appliance company you're looking to buy from uses Centricity, look elsewhere.
