Cera Avis 

Cera (Premier Care - Widnes) have been excellent and very caring to my father since being assigned to him 5 weeks ago.
They listened to his requests with regard to his preferred timings (x4) and arranged his care package accordingly. He’s very happy with this.
The carers report accurately that they have completed the tasks required, and if not the reason why they’ve not been able to do anything in particular.
The office staff monitor his call reports and act quickly with appropriate assistance if necessary eg today they arranged for a District Nurse to see him very quickly (when I’d not been able to arrange it through his surgery!) Also checking if I’m aware of any problems the carers have raised eg falls etc
The family access app is a great asset as I’m able to check throughout the day/evening to ensure he’s ok and the carer can flag up a message to me if necessary so I can contact his doctor myself as he is housebound.

Cant praise the carers from the Sunderland branch of this company enough, they’re are very professional and caring, walked in one morning to hear my mum laughing and chatting with the carer, it’s been a long time my mum has cheered up like that, Iv no bad comments I can say about his company and the carers they employ

I don’t know where I would be without the care I receive so thankful

With the company 0 with the care staff excellent. Zero you are lucky that I gave you 2 stars, office staff and senior management do not communicate efficiently, this has been an ongoing issue for years, they don’t listen and nothing changes. Would not recommend if you or your loved ones have a complex care package

Carers are generally very helpful. Getting through to the office is a near impossibility, though! Weekly schedules are sporadic but there is an app, which is useful.

Thank you for your belated response and I totally appreciate your comments regarding data protection etc… but as your managers have totally ignored my last emails how else can I get your attention?
My initial complaint was raised on 7tb April to which I received a generated response advising me that I would get a response within 28 days. Jodie and Sally ( managers) totally ignored the complaint- I then escalated it to the regional manager Sarah hedges and once again nothing so I then contacted the Cera press office and not long after got a pitiful response from Sarah with a lot of the information and dates incorrect. .I replied and once again nothing! So I contacted the Cera press office and then Sarah sent an 8 page email once again not really addressing any of the families concerns. I sent another email on and around 17th June and still waiting!
So if you would like to assist kindly ask your regional manager to do her job and respond please. There was issues that she did not want the family to receive any information without my mothers consent. So my brother went to the nursing home where mum has sadly ended up and she composed and sent the required email. Nothing!
I previously asked for the accounts department number not to discuss mums individual payments but the fact the council rescheduled mums payments due to the fact that around £50000 has been paid to you and that all her hard earned final savings had dwindled down to under the required self funding level. So from 26/02/26 that figure was now £55 per week but the company was still taking the full £700+ per week. Surely the local managers and especially the regional manager Sarah Hedges could have looked into this but was happy to sit back and watch the company coffers grow.
So please yes I know this review will most probably be removed but whoever sent the response 4 hours ago please get the local and regional managers to respond please.
There are 3 SAFEGUARDING concerns currently raised against the abysmal quality of care that my mother received.
One raised by the nurse at the local hospital when my mum was last admitted, having not long returned from a previous hospital stay due to her contracting Novovirus and Covid at Erskine Court. The nurse was shocked to find mums front groin totally red and her posterior with sores -( Yet she had only been back at Erskine Court for 8 days from the previous hospital visit) So obviously your care company allowed this to happen again.
One by the discharge coordinator currently assisting mum and myself after I visited the local police station and said I wanted to raise a gross negligence complaint against your company- they suggested I initially raise a safeguarding concern as well.
Someone from your head office needs to visit Erskine court and see how awful a resident can be treated ( various carers told us other residents are being treated in the same way- I guess they told us due to the fact they are totally unmotivated ) and the buck should stop with your regional district 6 manager.
So please don’t imply the local managers are in discussions with us because once again they have just ignored our recent ongoing concerns

A wonderfully kind and loving group of carers look after my mum who has dementia.

Explanation as why which I myself was asked to do and somebody with complex needs is not always understood that these calls with medication and peg feed need Also I don’t understand why shoe covers are not allowed as being a clean person do not want wet unclean shoes being worn in my home my experience with this company is mixed

Excellent caring staff. I particularly like the app which let's me know everything is OK with my Mum.

Regular carers, all are very good and supportive.

I am really pleased with the care that my brother receives. It gives me peace of mind to know that he is happy with all his carers. They are friendly and take an interest in his hobbies as-well as providing his personal care and support.

Cera Care in South Tyneside provided wonderful care and support for my mum over several years during her illness, and especially throughout the final month of her life at home. She was always treated with dignity, compassion, and kindness. Both the office team and the carers were consistently thoughtful, supportive, and genuinely caring. Our family is deeply grateful for everything they did for Mum. Their dedication and compassion brought great comfort to her and to all of us during a very difficult time.

Care Qulaity Service Oldham East . Following a stroke in June 2025 my husband has needed care services from the Oldham East team. The care and attention has been second to none. The carers are knowledgeable and professional but more importantly kind and caring. I don't know how we could have coped without their care and good humour . Thank you ladies x

all my carers are excellent they do what i need and we have good chats, the only time i have problems is when the office change my rota for silly times so have to ring up to get it changed back, but in general im very pleased with my carers usually the same gentleman with 3 others when he is off,

We cannot thanks Cera care enough for all the help we had when our Dad came home on palliative care.
The carers were amazing and the team at Cera Care listened to us and made sure that we had the same regular carers who knew exactly how to look after Dad.
We will always be grateful for the support during some very difficult times.

I have some super carers coming in to help me they are kind and caring I've had carers for over 15 years and I've not had any complaints I love my Cera girls
