Charleston Coast Vacations by dunes properties Avis 

We love Dunes Properties! We won't use any other rental company when booking our trip to Folly Beach...always great service and great properties that equals a great vacation!

While our stay in Charleston was nice, we did have some issues with the house. We noticed on our second night that the 3 of the smoke detectors had batteries, but were not pushed in - meaning they were not working. The toilet on the 2nd floor would not flush on the 3rd day due to the chain on the handle broke. My boyfriend did a temporary fix with a spring from a clothes pin. He noticed this was temporarily fixed before with a safety pin. The light fixture in the bottom bedroom did not work. We replaced the bulb and it still would not work. My concern is faulty wiring. The back door to the deck fell off the first time we opened it due to a missing pin in the hinge. We fixed it by putting in a screw that was randomly found on the deck. The dishwasher did not work - it sounded like it was running - but did not clean dishes. We washed all by hand. We were unable to change the channel of the TV - directions left at the house did not work.

Love the properties! Are beautiful and well maintained. I got my dates mixed up and was a day late getting there... the place was available for a full 7 days and they asked if I would be interested in getting another day - they said they would call me and let me know if there would be a discounted rate! Never called while we were there. So we left on the 6th day. I realize it was my error but would have appreciated a calll. Other than that the experience was great!!

Our house was so wonderfully spacious, easily accommodating 11 people. Each bedroom had their own shower. However I never got a warm shower the whole stay. Brr. Maybe the water heater needed to be bigger.
We rented paddle boards. I think it would have been helpful for the rental company to let us know about the strong currents that occur with the tides going in and out. We were totally caught off guard by that!

I think Folly Beach should put sidewalks along Ashley Avenue so that pedestrians can feel safer walking to and from town.

Great place. I will rent again and again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cabana Blue-Couples rental! The location is excellent and the home was very comfortable and had everything needed for a pleasant and enjoyable vacation. Working with Dunes Properties was simple and they were very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend renting thru Dunes Properties as well as staying at Cabana Blue!

Very easy to work with and always available for questions! Will definitely use them on future ventures down to Charleston!

This was the 2nd year we've vacationed at this property. Both experiences were wonderful.
A beautiful house, with plenty of room for a 14 person family reunion. The property was in excellent condition, and everything worked well. Spa/pool is one of the best features, and really shines when the weather is uncooperative. Tyler Haag (concierge) was very responsive and knowledgeable.

Our only complaint is that the pool area was not open.It would have been nice to be able to use that area to sit and enjoy the sun.

Second year in a row with Charleston Coast Vacations. Easy to work with and emails reminders, news and info in a timely manner.

Communications was just right and notification of early availability of the rental property was a plus.

The house was perfectly located for the beach and my daughter's wedding at the Regatta. We had lots of room for all our family to stay together. The house was very tastefully decorated and beds were very comfortable.

Great condo. Would definitely come back to this condo.

We had a wonderful experience. The Condo was even nicer than we expected. The pool was a bit cold but for the start of April, not much else you can expect. 2 minutes and we were on the beach from the room, cna't argue with that. The weather cooperated with us, just in time for the trip. My son even cried when we got home because he wanted to go back. Thank you, again.

We had a great experience! The whole process was really easy, and we would highly recommend it. The unit was awesome! Hope to be back some day!!

It was fine... the people sharing the house with my husband and I were looking for a cheaper option... You definitely get what you pay for. The house needs some updating. If you're looking for a spectacular house, this isn't it, but it was totally fine. ie: The bulbs in the bathrooms get so hot that its hard to stand in the bathroom and curl my hair/put on my makeup. The dishwasher didn't really get the dishes clean. The shower was a little gross. Our biggest complaint is that the cable didn't work. Yes, we were at the beach, so we shouldn't need it. But we like to gather at night and watch tv. (especially because it was unusually cold weather)
