Even on the other side of the world, I have good connections with CS. Most of my friends are in America so it made sense to get the server in the US but I've been really impressed by the connection compared to other hosts we've used. A+

I was with another server provider and could not get good support. My account and ChicagoServer was set up in minutes. It works flawlessly - including mods, etc. Have had a great experience. Had one minor issue and they responded right away and fixed it. Friends and I were online and playing in minutes! They’re absolutely KILLER! You can’t go wrong.

Any time I've had an issue, it was resolved pretty quickly. I've been able to use a bunch of mods on my servers and like that they have some of the core mods available as options in the admin console.

Incredible! My first time playing on a server from chicagoservers was with my brother in law and sister in law when we played ark together a year or so ago and it was super easy to use cross play since I was using epic games at the time.

This time using it and being the renter of the server it’s even more exciting and I’m finding even more things that I love about these people and what they do for their customer base. The control panel was easy to understand and insert settings for our newest ark server. For anything I couldn’t figure out on my own they were always extremely quick to respond and had an easy solution to whatever question I had.

I’m very grateful that I’ve had the pleasure of playing on and renting a server from chicagoservers.

Oh also, extremely inexpensive with the added benefit of getting a base 50 slots for our ark game as opposed to the other site I saw that started with base 10 slots for the same price.

I have been with ChicagoServers for a while now and can honestly say their customer is what makes a difference when it comes to picking a server to host. This is my third host and by far the smoothest server I had and like I say about they are always willing to help out where needed! I currently run a 50 man rust server called Chicago Rust if you want to try playing on a server hosted by ChicagoServers!

Came to chicago servers after my last Minecraft host was having some lag. So far so good and the control panel is pretty cool. Good job guys and its cool that you put the mods right in the control panel!

This is where it's at. Solid hosting and good pricing. I love these guys and the support is quick. I had a ticket open 2 days with my previous host which they still haven't answered... ChicagoServers replied to mine within an hour. A+

I had set up an Amazon LightSail account and had a Valheim server running, but the resources were just not enough. To achieve decent performance on Valheim, I definitely needed more RAM and CPU than what I was willing to pay for via AWS. It was mostly a learning experience for cloud server management that I can slap on a resume, but definitely opened my eyes to how expensive (and frustrating) it can be.

Setup, maintenance, and billing with Chicago Servers is miles ahead of AWS. I'm getting great server performance at literally half the cost. A cheap AWS instance is good for a quick and easy WordPress site, but nowhere near enough for Valheim, or any other resource-intensive application.

I highly recommend Chicago Servers for game server hosting.

ChicagoServers is now my third host for Minecraft since the first two hosts would randomly and frequently lose connections. Perhaps I should have checked their reviews first and saved myself from the headache. Anyways, I figured maybe third times a charm and went with cs. The setup was quick, the server and control panel are responsive, and it just.. works. You think when you pay for hosting it's going to be top notch. It's expected. Unfortunately that's not the case always. But, if that's what you're looking for, go with these guys, the network rocks. What a breath of fresh air... you guys rock.

Wasn't expecting a reply for like 1-2 hours based on what I'm used to elsewhere, but Axel replied within about 20 seconds and got my issue resolved in about 2 minutes total. Thoroughly impressed!!

So far customer service has been A+, quick reply to my questions unlike other server companies I have tried!

He was the best, he waited on me and then I left to do all the settings and he still responded to me even 15 minutes later. He was very quick and this was my first time renting a server. I love how advanced yet easy to use this whole experience is!

Very quick, attentive, and responsive. They accidentally assigned me to a wrong node and gave me a much better upgraded node. Have not stress tested the service quite yet, but everything seems great so far!

Helpful, Skilled, and friendly. I just hope that any game I want to have a server for is one of their supported games because I don’t want to have to use anyone else. I’ve used other people before. You get what you pay for and sure there may be slightly cheaper options but I have no plans to switch to any of those cheaper options unless I have too because the server I want isn’t a game they support.

I like the rust hosting since the world generation is the quickest I've experienced. The panel is great and to the point, files I want to edit load and save quickly, and it seems really responsive.

I was with gameservers previously and it's like their support team doesn't provide support specific to the game, it's just "general support responses" if that makes sense. It's like they reply just to reply but not help. Mars from ChicagoServers was to the point, quick, and helpful. It's hard to find quality support these days anywhere and this place knows how to do it right. Big thank you for that.

Decided to go with them cause, real talk, I was too lazy to set up the game server on my own server machine since it was giving me a mild headache to get installed, so I said "Eh, why not, I'll throw $15 at them and see how it goes."

The server setup was quite easy, had it up and running in a pretty good amount of time. It generated the world in a reasonable amount of time (about 30 minutes or less? Much better than VILAYER's almost 2 hours to generate one, so compliments there).

The panel is pretty decent, I've seen better, but I've seen worse, so, 4/5 there. I'd get an odd error sometimes when trying to access the server console through it, but a quick F5 refresh would fix it.

No real downtime that we noticed for the almost three weeks we used it.

The problem came when we started wiring up the base with electricity. Once too many things started being wired and activated (around 10 cameras + blade traps), the server would go into crazy levels of desync. It would take 60+ seconds to open chests, players would be doing something on my screen that they had finished several minutes ago, etc. Even VILAYER's server let me wire up around 45 blade traps and cameras plus all the lighting and turrets we needed without issue (but don't use them either, read my review on that one on this site).

In order to rule out this lag/desync being a game coding issue with the current Alpha (19.5), I set my own server up (midrange PC) and transferred the world to it. No problems. All four walls of traps and cameras (around 47 of each), fences, 15 turrets, can all be turned on at the same time with no desync.

TL;DR - It set up easily, the control panel is fine, uptime was good, but it seems too overloaded to handle 7 Days To Die with even minimal in-game electricity usage.

Support is fast, helpful, and to the point. Good job guys.
