We ordered shedloads of pies this time from Chunks as we enjoyed our other pies so much,it was great to try the new Hunters Chicken Pies (pies that are full of product)and they we absolutely delicious we will definitely be ordering again,keep up the good work Hunks from Chunks lol

My first order has turned out to be my last. I ordered 8 pies which should have included two glucose intolerant Steak and Ale pies. I received two Steak,Ale & Chestnut Mushroom pies with no explanation for the replacement . Three emails later which have been ignored, I am still waiting to hear what they intend to do about this. I am not prepared to lose £8 for something that I cannot eat. If only I had read the reviews before ordering I wouldn’t have bothered with this company at all. The two ‘sheep’ pies were very sweet for some reason, so I very definitively do NOT recommend this company.

CHUNK32516 Order. Quite looking forward to 6 giant beef pasties. Expensive but thought they would be worth it. Pasties arrived today , eaten. Straightaway but goodness what a disappointment. Thick chewy tasteless pastry , stuck to the roof of my mouth , lots of tasteless filling , leaving film of grease inside mouth. Gave up a third through and binned the rest. Nothing traditional about the taste of these , worst pasties we’ve ever eaten.

I’m really disappointed, I’ve seen other reviews that have been a bit harsh and I thought maybe they were expecting too much for the money.
Unfortunately I’m disappointed for two reasons, one, I was very fair in my review and I got absolutely no response, correct me but I think trust pilot notify the trader when they have a review so there is no excuse for ignoring my comments.
Now for chicken and mushroom pie, VERY fed up, chicken is cheap so discover two small pieces of chicken and two button mushrooms means that’s it, I won’t be ordering again.

Either they have not looked at their poor reviews or they just don’t care 🤷‍♂️
I wish you luck but ignoring people’s comments good or bad is never good business

The food from here is absolutely brilliant! Just had a Steak & Blue pasty, the nuts!!!! Full to the brim. Next order on its way.

The Chunk Giant Steak costing £5.49 doubtful if they refund! No Good
Pasty had Not been Baked properly the Veg content Hard and the Raw Pastry Under Cooked.
Something really wrong at Whitehall Laycock for retailing them they did sell proper Cornish Pasties in the past.

I never received my order.
They delivered to wrong address even after email no delivery no refund

I’ve had these pies many times now they are delicious and l think great value. Just add veges and gravy you have a fabulous meal for not a lot. Quality of pies first class. Thanks great job.

Ordered £40 worth of pies had two steak and ale pies not a chunk of steak between them should be done under trades description act

Sorry to say tired to steak and ale and the kidney and both had big limps of fatty grissle in them :(

the pies are fantastic, I've had an order today and we're having some for tea. Full of meat, properly seasoned, top drawer

The cheese & onions pasties were excellent - the pies less so!
Lots of pastry with chewy beef. Not as good as I had hoped, They were all OK but not exceptional!!

My husband and myself have just eaten a Chicken, Leek and Bacon Pie. Absolutely delicious. and plenty
of filling. Very good pastry too.

We cooked them for 25 mins. but I shall cook them for
30 mins next time as I felt they could be a little hotter.

I ordered a box of pasties from Chunk as part of a ' research project ' into the best artisan pie manufacturer.
It was very easy to place an order on line, I was made aware of delivery which was on time and we had one for lunch that very day.
But the flavour...... ! It was the very first time since holidaying down there that we could really relive the whole walk on the promenade/beach with hot pasty in hand experience. The taste is superb, filling is packed in and the pastry, well , it tasted as if it had just come out of an oven in a Devon Bakery. Glorious !

Disappointed to say the least.
Ordered a selection and once received couldn’t wait and ate a steak & kidney cold, and very nice it was to, good amount of content.
Second pie, steak & ale, bit gristly, not as much content as previous steak & kidney, third was sheep pie and I think there would have been more meat in a Fray Bentos pie.
So that leaves me with 2 x chicken curry, a steak & ale plus steak & kidney so will see how they pan out.

Couldn’t be happier dealing with a super company great customer service really listened to my needs. Gluten free option is brilliant food is tasty, satisfying and worth every penny for Gluten Free

Oh my words fail me....Simon and team at chunk of Devon pie's, I have always liked pie's due to my child hood day's when my parents didn't have much money,but sorry mum since I tasted chunk of Devon pie's I absolutely love them. Even my partner who is always only eating a lettuce leaf and watching her weight loves your pie's too 🤫. Well done 👏 ✔️ 👍

Ordered a selection of pies most were good except for the ones with steak. All of the various steak ones that I tried were 50% grissle, one had 3 full small onions in the pie mix instead of meat chunks. Complained to Chunk, they didn't even bother to reply. Avoid Chunk, there are better online pies for less money too.

I coudnt be happier with Chunk of Devon. The pasties I ordered arrived next day and the pasties themselves were packed full to the crust with delicious filling, not like most of the other pasty delivery companies I have tried in the past. There was the perfect amount of meat compared to the potato, carrots and everything else, not like the vast majority of pasty delivery companies I have tried in the past, where the vast majority of the filling has been mainly potato and very little of anything else! Very well seasoned. I will certainly be buying more from this company. Thank you Chunk of Devon - the best pasty delivery company I have found (in my humble opinion)

Underwhelmed. Pasties were smaller than expected with a lot of crust. For £4 a pop including a 10% discount I wanted more. Also promised next day del', didn't happen. Meat content seems pretty minimal. I had a genuine pasty in St Ives not long ago, it was far bigger and meatier for about the same price. I don't think I'll be buying again. If you're tempted avoid the Pork & Scrumpy pasty, it's so sweet I thoughty it was a pudding.
