Phone recovered thanks to an excellent Citylink driver
I had a very positive experience with Citylink thanks to one of their drivers.
My brother accidentally left his phone on the Service 712, travelling from Dublin Airport at 22:00 on January 2, 2026, to Castletroy, Limerick, with a scheduled drop-off at 00:25 on January 3, 2026. When we rang the phone, the driver answered and helped us recover it without any issues at all.
The driver’s name was Lucas. He was honest, professional, and very helpful.
Experiences like this really show the quality of staff Citylink employs. Much appreciated!!

I agree with what every 1 star has to…
I agree with what every 1 star has to say
The city link is a good company if you have your transport done in advanced going to take buses at 3-4pm making it more strict to reliable transport and even bus eireann is better than this wasteful company making me pay 4,50 for a ticket what I find more stupid is that most drivers in rural areas will flick their lights at you to see if youre a person 923 if I should even call it a functional bus doesnt flick anything unless it involves the bus driver its disgusting they dont care about passengers at all
If I had known better I would've gotten the 419 thanks a lot fot making me east my money unreliable bus and why do I have to flash when half of the road on bus drivers supporting me on visibility no I need to flash other drivers just to get on that's unrealistic and unprofessional
And its luke this only because its getting darker recently well next time ill try take the bus as early as possible even if it affects "open window" tickets prices because what the actual what you only give passangers to book 2 hours in advance and if they dont they're forced to book again for a later time absolute reputation
The driver was completely incompetent…
The driver was completely incompetent and this resulted in the service being 35 minutes late.
There needs to be two members of staff…
There needs to be two members of staff on services as night. This is for the safety of the bus driver who has had to deal with a lot of angry and self-righteous customers single handly which he did so professionaly on the service from 23:30 to Galway coach station, Monday the 20th from terminal 1. Especially since the new student card rules came into affect. Citylink, you need to install 2 members of staff on night services and do not put your drivers in harms way.
The driver was very rude and kindless man
I am writing this regarding the extremely rude and unprofessional conduct of a driver on the Dublin Airport to Limerick service on the morning of Saturday, October 19th, at approximately 10:00 AM.
I had just completed a 19-hour journey and, along with my small child and husband and luggage on two trolleys, was waiting in the designated City Link area. It was raining heavily.
The driver on duty refused to allow myself and several other passengers of Indian nationality to board from the usual waiting spot. He abruptly ordered us to move to the other side of the road, near Terminal 1. Despite our polite requests and pleas, he was completely unyielding and spoke to us with a very aggressive and shouting tone, demonstrating a remarkable lack of kindness and poor attitude.
We were forced to comply and move in the heavy rain, resulting in my small son, our luggage, and myself becoming completely soaked. To our disbelief, as we moved away, we witnessed the driver immediately allowing other passengers to board the bus from the exact spot we had just been forced to leave.
When we returned to board, the driver continued to speak to us rudely. His conduct was not only unhelpful and unnecessary but also appeared to be discriminatory. This behavior, particularly toward exhausted passengers traveling with children in poor weather, is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on your company's service standards.
Such a flagrant display of poor customer service and unkindness has severely impacted our arrival experience.
Bus stop not advertised
Bus was punctual and driver was pleasant. Reluctantly giving one star simply because it wasn't clear from ticketing that the actual bus stop was about 90 metres beyond the bus station in Cork. It's simply by the side of the road. The ticket truly didn't make this clear and for the want of a few words would have saved a lot of people angst at the bus station. Please ... say what you mean and mean what you say about the location of the bus stop ... you're a bus company for crying out loud!
Driver distraction!
The driver had tried to block off the front row, when I sat in front seat I got a lecture about phone usage, I was not to use it for the entire journey. Strange that as he took 3 calls and chatted merrily when he should be focused on driving, he was the worst fidget, constantly moving his hands to his head, face, ears, nose, not a pleasant sight, the radio was quite loud also, finally when getting off at the airport he said get your own bags, when a woman tried to do just that he shouted at her not to touch other bags, really Citylink you need to employ people who take some pride in themselves and their job, i travel this route a few times annually and this is the first time I have had such a negative experience, hoping it will be the last!
Citylink bus driver(14.10) drove right…
Citylink bus driver(14.10) drove right past me across from coach station in Moycullen. Acknowledged me and kept driving. I called they said no issue, we use the new bus stop now
However when I searched bus times I was still lead to old bus stop. And another citylink bus driver told me they were not allowed to use the new bus stop and to use the old one. Very confused, annoyed and now have no way into the city to collect my car which will likely be clamped. Well done citylink for the Common decency 👎
Citylink 763 multistop service&timetable
Citylink! Your 763 bus route timetable is way way off the timings published!.
My son was waiting this evening for your 763 bus to arrive at Beatty's Loughrea stop for 16.50pm so that he can get to Oranmore to attend his Maths Grinds starting at 17.50pm. Your 763 bus did not arrive at Beattys Loughrea until 17.40pm!! Passengers had to wait from
16.50pm until 17.40pm to get this bus to Oranmore Galway and pay 9Euro one
way and the inconvenience of the long wait. Shocking service and misleading timetable. Your timetables need a complete revision as they are way off the timings published online. Very disappointing .
Comfy bus but the timetables are useless…
Comfy bus but the timetables are useless. We left Galway 20 mins late and arrived at dublin airport over 45mins late. I have missed my connecting bus.
Ah City link where the timetables are…
Ah City link where the timetables are meaningless. Good luck if you have to get somewhere on time or have a connecting bus to catch, because it's not gonna happen!!!! The buses are extremely unhygienic like walking germ factories. I feel physically sick after being on one and have to scrub myself head to toe when I EVENTUALLY get home. And hey it's a fun guessing game trying to figure out when that will be. Keep up the good work City link!!!
I'm very upset with Citylink
I'm very upset with Citylink. The bus should arrive at Kilbeggan at 17:15, and I was waiting for the bus, but it didn't come. I'm wasting my time. The next bus is at 19:15. I'm not sure if the bus will arrive. I don't have a place in this city.
Very uncomfortable journey for the 2nd…
Very uncomfortable journey for the 2nd time in a row due to air con not working . Everyone was sweating . Driver couldn't fix it. Happened twice on the dublin Air port to galway route
EXTREMELY RUDE AND CONDESCENDING…
EXTREMELY RUDE AND CONDESCENDING WORKERS DO NOT BOOK WITH CITY LINK!!!!!!!!!
Booked bus for myself and two of my friends from Galway to limerick for 4:30 but one of my friends had to leave early due to a family emergency, we then explained this to the workers when we got to the bus at our scheduled bus time and they shouted at us and said because we booked together we could not now get bus as our friend had already gone even though we paid and we exained the situation properly and in a calm and respectful manner.
I’m Utterly disgusted as never in all my years of taking buses have i been shouted at in such a rude and condescending manner.
I will never travel with city link ever again.
The bus driver on the Clifden / Galway…
The bus driver on the Clifden / Galway run playing lovely music and singing along. Cut the journey in half. I don't know his name. An the very friendly and helpful Tiberius. It makes such a difference. I've never had an unpleasant driver but those 2 stand out for me
